Logical models are here presented as theories for implementation design on iDevice, with respect to the algebraic structure caused by state transitions. As a simpler design of complex AI, the environmental constraint is captured as a state, where the function applications are available at each state with the transition to the next states. For communication to the state, and function applications at the state, multi-modal logic model may be of use, where the formula or the condition monitors the state. Then interaction availability is significant, expressed in some algebra on the basis of the meaning definitions for formulas (conditions). By the state transition system, URL searching operations are now formally considered as in algebraic structure. The application of predicates to the states is regarded as applications of functions (transforming conditions) such that its algebraic structure may be given.","PeriodicalId":414016,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Complex Information Systems","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122184919","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To research these phenomena we use approaches in computer simulations. This article presents a model based approach for the simulation of human brain functions in order to create recurrent machine learning map fractals that enable the investigation of any problem trained beforehand. On top of a neural network for which each neuron is illustrated with biological capabilities like collection, association, operation, definition and transformation, a thinking model for imagination and reasoning is exemplified in this research. This research illustrates the technical complexity of our dual thinking process in a mathematical and computational way and describes two examples, where an adaptive and self-regulating learning process was applied to real world examples. In conclusion, this research exemplifies how a previously researched conceptual model (SLA process) can be used for making progress to simulate the complex systematics of human thinking processes and gives an overview of the next major steps for making progress on how artificial intelligence can be used to simulate","PeriodicalId":414016,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Complex Information Systems","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121814063","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At present, disaster research focuses on bottom-up approaches such as civilian inclusion in disaster response. With the advent of smartphones, citizen-based emergency communication has become possible. Present ad hoc communication technologies typically form a fully connected mesh network, which connects all phones that are within each other's transmission range. This facilitates low-latency direct communication between citizens, but it quickly drains the battery of phones. Alternative ad hoc communication networks form an adaptive energy-efficient network topology, that is most draining to batteries of phones that have a higher charge, while low-energy phones are spared from relaying messages, thereby preserving battery and thus maintaining their connection with the rescue communication network. Both of these approaches have their own advantages. Which one is best for communication needs depends on the context. This position paper discusses the possibility of a decision model as an approach to automatically switch between the two alternative ad hoc communication networks. This ensures that citizens in disasters can make use of the optimal communication system at all times.","PeriodicalId":414016,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Complex Information Systems","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124499221","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

If successful, such policies can have detrimental enviromental impact, increase demand for natural and economical resources, and may lead to demographic changes with poliical consequences. Hence, high fertility rates deserve careful analysis. Here we study, using linear dynamics and non-linear dynamics tools, how high fertility rates may impact demography in Israel. We further comment on potential implications of such scenarios for democracy in Israel.","PeriodicalId":414016,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Complex Information Systems","volume":"442 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123450504","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In Colombia, it exceeds 45%, an alerting rate that makes studies on the subject very important for Governments and universities considering that it has a huge social impact and affects the resources of the education area. Traditionally, studies are performed by statistical and mathematical methods and the Ministry of National Education acknowledges that they have been insufficient since they fail to explain the dropout behavior. Agent-based modeling and simulation (ABMS) has been considered a new way of doing science when managing social problems that are complex systems forcing an evolution simulation as a useful approach to develop this phenomenon.","PeriodicalId":414016,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Complex Information Systems","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131217697","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We construct a weighted network with nodes as PACS codes and there is a link between two PACS codes if there is an article assigned to both these codes. The weight of a link represents the number of articles in which both PACS codes appears. We study the time evolution of PACS network at various hierarchy levels of PACS codes.
