Sulistyo","doi":"10.24198/JSG.V3I2.20374","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24198/JSG.V3I2.20374","url":null,"abstract":"The research focused on the eternality of environmental preservation of indigenous Sunda Village of Kasepuhan Ciptagelar at Southern Halimun Mountain, Sukabumi District, West Java. The local community still exist with living heritage of Sundaness tradition and culture as well as rural tourism. The study associated with the depreciation of land and population growth. Socio-culture approach on this research has focused into environmental wisdom values that occupied the forest land. The result showed that Kasepuhan indigenous tradition is still practicing by community that protected the forestland at the south of the settlement only for their subsistence. Social-culture changes were occurring in the community with no agricultural activities in the forest (outer islands agriculture), but farmed in rice field activities (wet rice cultivation). Reduction in process and ceremonial activities also happened. More profane activities were developing economic crops in kebun-talun. The spatial pattern in environmental aspect was still have position; mountains-settlement-rivers; the main village of Kasepuhan—and the compose of several cluster villages. Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu maraknya dukungan kaum emak-emak dalam mendukung salah satu pasangan calon presiden dan wakil presiden yang menunjukkan sikap antusias sehingga mereka rela untuk hadir dalam kampanye dan demonstrasi. \"The power of emak-emak\" merupakan istilah yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk menunjukkan kekuatan gerakan ibu-ibu yang berasal dari ekonomi kelas menengah bawah yang merasakan masalah ekonomi di sektor domestik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan dengan menelaah literatur mengenai sejarah gerakan perempuan dari masa ke masa di beberapa negara termasuk Indonesia dan mengujinya dengan teori gerakan sosial, teori psikologi, dan teori sosiologi. Temuannya menunjukkan bahwa motivasi utama gerakan kaum emak-emak tersebut adalah isu masalah ekonomi keluarga dan kepedualian terhadap beberapa isu mengenai kondisi negara serta kecintaan mereka kepada anak-anak. The social movement is carried out by the community to increase community awareness and empowerment in preserving environmental functions. This study examines the issue of new social movements, namely #NoStrawMovement. The #NoStrawMovement movement invites people to participate in maintaining and caring for their own environment by reducing the reduction of plastic straws. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the effectiveness of the #NoStrawMovement movement in influencing community behavior to anticipate environmental damage. This study uses qualitative methods with descriptive studies that aim to describe the overall problem of the research. The results showed that the success of this movement was evidenced by the significant reduction in the use of plastic straws among the public. This success was also influenced by several food restaurants that no longer provided plastic straws for the community. The research method uses the library study approach by collecting information from journalsm books, electronic documents and online news. Islamic hijrah is becoming a new social movement in the community, an identity-oriented paradigm as a research analysis, because it focuses on the involvement of actors and collective action. The analysis assessed by five excess oriented paradigm of identity in analyzing social movements move, the result is: (1) Movement moved views on many public figures of women who are Muslims use the hijab as well as the artists who participated in the study, economic actors in the field of Muslim clothing increased in manufacturing clothes muslim, social media's role in providing the study of the Islamic religion; (2) The expression of Islamic Hijrah milineal, look at the idea advanced, more critical mindset and open so that it can assess which actions are good and bad; (3) Conduct expressive by attending various Islamic studies in various areas to discuss about Islam; (4) The role and position of the millennial actors in implementing the move which acts as a muslim in accordance with teachings of the religion of Islam and the position of the actor as a man who wants to get the meaning of Hijrah Islamic; (5) Putting individuals in Islamic move toward the goal of a better life and direction.
