In order to achieve this, they are in an ongoing search for strategies for decision making that produce positive values for the business. To reach this goal, and to get clear and efficient strategies, possessing a large amount of data gathered on the commercial transactions, the need to analyze in an intelligent way the aforementioned data arises, extracting useful knowledge to support the decision making and an understanding of the association patterns that take place in the sales-clients behavior. This research has the objective of execute the search for patterns applying data mining techniques to find new and better Association Rules on the database of a retail company, using the data provided by them and the Data Mining tool: Orange Canvas employing the FP-Growth algorithm.","PeriodicalId":413655,"journal":{"name":"2020 XLVI Latin American Computing Conference (CLEI)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134284306","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This information is highly complex, is distributed among different systems, presents high heterogeneity, is stored in different formats, and has different levels of structuring. The management of this information poses interoperability challenges in tasks related to data integration and reuse. In this work, an alternative is presented to face these challenges using semantic technologies. We propose to transform this heterogeneous, distributed, and unstructured information in a way that ensures high interoperability, reuse, and direct processing by machine agents. The pilot of this proposal was developed at the UTPL Hospital.","PeriodicalId":413655,"journal":{"name":"2020 XLVI Latin American Computing Conference (CLEI)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133331765","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Business processes data (e.g., cases, activity instances, variables, resources, etc.) is usually implicit in information systems and coupled with organizational data (e.g., clients, orders, payments, etc.). Even if processes are managed by a Business Process Management System, the link between both kinds of data is not easy to discover. In this context, a compartmentalized vision of process data on the one hand, and organizational data on the other, is not adequate to provide the organization with the evidence-based business intelligence necessary to improve their daily operation. In this paper, we deal with the integration of business process and organizational data as a basis for providing organizations with elements to allow a complete evaluation of the business process execution. We provide an analysis of scenarios for data integration and data matching problems, and we propose a model-driven approach for providing a unified view capturing all the pieces of data consistently for applying both process mining and data mining techniques.","PeriodicalId":413655,"journal":{"name":"2020 XLVI Latin American Computing Conference (CLEI)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122599454","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this last field, the scientific literature on these tools focuses on the learners' needs, but neglects the requirements of the professors, even though they are who mainly decide whether or not an educational tool is adopted in the courses they teach. This article collected 132 functional requirements for educative online judges, from the scientific literature and programming teachers with experience in the use of this type of tool. To know the degree of support, the requirements were grouped into 27 categories, and a requirements verification was performed with four available educative online judges reported in a recent systematic literature review. A low degree of satisfaction of requirements was found. This result encourages future research to create tools that better support teaching-learning processes and the requirements collected are a useful contribution as a starting point for such research.","PeriodicalId":413655,"journal":{"name":"2020 XLVI Latin American Computing Conference (CLEI)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122529489","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Peru is a multicultural country that officially has 48 native languages. From them to 17 have problems of extinction, although 4 of these languages are almost extinct, one of them is Taushiro, which has only one survivor over 70 years, who participated with his voice and knowledge of their culture in the development of the mobile application. Functional and non-functional requirements have been identified based on the conditions of urban and rural spaces for the use of the application. The offline mobile application was generated, for the basic learning of Taushiro through the sounds of the only speaker. Its interactive contents are oriented to children from cities and rural communities and are classified through vowels, numbers, basic phrases, colors, fauna and flora, etc. The validation was carried out in an educational institution in the city of Iquitos, 24 children between 6 and 7 years old participated. The results have been satisfactory with respect to the interest and learning of the children towards the Taushiro language, however, it is necessary that this initiative be complemented with other instruments (with more advanced contents) and other activities and instruments.","PeriodicalId":413655,"journal":{"name":"2020 XLVI Latin American Computing Conference (CLEI)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128971589","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As virtualisation eases the deployment of new functionalities demanded by many industrial and social use cases, also show many research challenges regarding performance and resource optimisation. In the 5G architecture, while mobile networks are already trying to implement a full virtualisation of hardware resources, the core itself lacks of an integrated performance evaluation proposal. In this paper we propose a performance evaluation framework, based on an evaluation function and an assortment of distributed observation functions acting as monitors for compute nodes in a virtualised. infrastructure. The framework, unlike previous proposals, is designed to be integrated into 5G as a native service. The framework was evaluated in a Ultra-Reliable and Low Latency Communications (URLLC) scenario and the results show success in monitoring and analysing a Network Function Virtualisation (NFV) environment with a standard 5G NFV implementation.","PeriodicalId":413655,"journal":{"name":"2020 XLVI Latin American Computing Conference (CLEI)","volume":"180 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116970868","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We call SPI Diagnostic, the process to know the organization current status. Typically, these SPI Diagnostic processes are manually performed, thus demanding consultant practitioner and a high effort from the organization under analysis. Based on this we propose the following question: “What solutions have been proposed to SPI Diagnostic?” We looked for other Systematic Literature Reviews with the same goal and the found studies do not answer our question. Hence, we performed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to investigate solutions to the SPI Diagnostic process. We executed an SLR, based on snowballing technique. This SLR characterizes 14 solutions aiming at systematizing the SPI Diagnostic process through a method, model, or framework. As a result, we advocate that Artificial Intelligence (AI) based solutions should be more explored in research to deal with SPI Diagnostic complexity and, therefore helping the SPI Diagnostic.","PeriodicalId":413655,"journal":{"name":"2020 XLVI Latin American Computing Conference (CLEI)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121780182","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
