In order to overcome these problems, there are three different controlling targets: balancing current, suppressing active power as well as reactive power fluctuation. According to the instantaneous power theory, it is impossible to achieve all controlling targets simultaneously. This paper proposed a grid-connected inverter current quality/power coordinated controlling strategy. The method which uses the IPSO algorithm to set the weight coefficient considers the current balance, the active power and the reactive power fluctuation comprehensively. Simultaneously, the output current can be limited to the maximum output current of the inverter. On this basis, the grid-connected model predictive current controlling strategy based on the reference voltage is established to realize the fast and accurate tracking of the reference current. The simulation results show that the proposed method can coordinate the inverter output current balance, suppress the active power and the reactive power fluctuation oscillation, as well as effectively limit the current peak.","PeriodicalId":413554,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE Sustainable Power and Energy Conference (iSPEC)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116915404","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to improve the utilization rate of energy storage capacity, under the condition of energy storage participating in the secondary frequency regulation, the output depth of the energy storage can be adaptively adjusted according to its frequency regulation capability; Under the condition of recovery of energy storage's state of charge(SOC), the SOC reference value is dynamically adjusted based on the ultra-short-term load forecasting result, and the real-time operating state constraints of the power grid are taken into consideration to determine the actual self-recovering power of the energy storage. Finally, the control strategy of energy storage assisting power grid frequency regulation is proposed by synthetically analyzing the demand of power grid frequency regulation and the capability of energy storage frequency regulation, and the flow chart of realization is presented. The proposed strategy is verified by simulating the actual load disturbance scenario of power grid in MATLAB/simulink. Therefore, this paper proposes an evaluation index prediction method of tie line power control based on LSTM. Use historical data of a grid tie line as input, and establish a prediction model and predict the tie line power in advance. The CPS standard for the tie line control performance evaluation index is introduced, and the CPS indicator is predicted based on the tie line power prediction. The results of the example show that the power of the tie line predicted by LSTM is basically the same as the actual power, and the CPS indicator is more reliable. Comparing the prediction method with the results of other prediction methods, the error is small, and the feasibility and effectiveness of the above prediction method for the evaluation of tie line control performance are verified.","PeriodicalId":413554,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE Sustainable Power and Energy Conference (iSPEC)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125030496","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Power system expansion is faced with unneglible challenge when integrating renewable energy. To make the investment decisions robust and economic, a date-driven tri-level generation and transmission expansion planning model is proposed, considering the renewable output uncertainty and operational flexibility. By taking advantage of the historical data, an ambiguity set is developed to cover all the possible distribution of renewable resource, and then to find the worst-case scenarios. The operational flexibility is captured by modeling flexibility limits of thermal generators. To handle with the nonlinear constraints, a quasi-exact approach is introduced to linearize the proposed planning model. Then a Column-and-Constraint generation based decomposition framework is developed to tackle the solution complexity. Simulation results on the modified 6 bus test system are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model. Case studies show the advantage of the proposed model in the aspect of decreasing conservativeness, and the importance of considering flexibility into the generation and transmission expansion planning involving the high level of renewable energy integration.","PeriodicalId":413554,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE Sustainable Power and Energy Conference (iSPEC)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125099609","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
