Abstract

To facilitate the interconnection and interoperability between distribution master station and the terminal device, the centralized feeder automation, which has been widely applied in distribution networks, needs an information model in accordance with IEC 61850. This paper introduces the logic node related to fault indicator in the technical report of IEC61850-90-6. Based on the modeling principle of centralized feeder automation functions, applying the new definition of current indicator logical node SCPI, voltage indicator logical node SVPI, fault indicator logical node SFPI, an information model of centralized feeder automation is studied to demonstrate the application of IEC 61850 in distribution automation.
