In this paper, when photovoltaic and mains power supply DC load at the same time, the grid stabilizes the DC side voltage through AC/DC. When the illumination changes greatly, the traditional double closed-loop control shows a certain degree of hysteresis, which leads to the DC side voltage cannot be adjusted in time, and the whole system dynamic performance is not ideal. To improve the DC bus voltage control dynamics, this paper introduces the load power and photovoltaic output power into the model prediction direct power control loop. Based on simulation results, the variation of DC voltage of the proposed control strategy is smaller than that of the former when the illumination changes sharply. After that, the Fourier analysis of the grid side current also shows that the proposed strategy makes the grid side harmonic content less, which verifies the effectiveness and superiority of the strategy.","PeriodicalId":413409,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 6th Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration (EI2)","volume":"16 6","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114106870","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The total carbon emissions and emission coefficient of the whole life cycle of a wind turbine are calculated by focusing on five stages: fan manufacturing, fan transportation, wind farm construction, fan operation and maintenance, fan decommissioning and dismantling. The calculation results show that the carbon emission coefficient of wind turbine is about 21.73g-CO2,eq/kWh. The carbon emission level of wind turbine manufacturing stage is the highest, accounting for about 75%, followed by the operation and maintenance stage of wind farm, accounting for about 11%. The carbon emission level of other stages is relatively small. By obtaining the carbon emission results of the whole life cycle of wind power generation, the key links of wind power carbon emission are clarified, which is expected to point out the direction of regulating wind power carbon emission, so as to better achieve the low-carbon target.","PeriodicalId":413409,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 6th Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration (EI2)","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114175200","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Particularly in the context of deep electrification of the transport sector and energy system integration, the coordination of numerous electrical vehicles (EVs) can provide a cost-effective manner to mitigate the adverse consequences of high impact and low probability (HILP) contingencies, thus improving system resilience. In this paper, a novel distributed algorithm aimed at coordinating a large population of EVs is proposed to enhance the resilience of urban energy system. The presented method alleviates the load curtailment iteratively by adjusting EV charging/discharging schedules while considering the energy requirements of individual EVs. The effectiveness of the distributed coordinative approach is tested and demonstrated by a series of case studies.","PeriodicalId":413409,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 6th Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration (EI2)","volume":"5 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120905251","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we propose a data augmentation method based on the random crop to improve the detection accuracy of insulators. Firstly, it ensures the validity of the label by generating a patch that contains the centers of all ground truth boxes. Secondly, it achieves a balance between protecting the ground truth and random cropping by limiting the area ratio of each ground truth box before and after random cropping. We find that these two steps increase the attention of the model to the insulator. On the self-made insulator dataset, the solution achieves 91.2% and 89.3% mAP in YOLOv3 and RetinaNet respectively, which is 3% and 1.5% better than the random crop.","PeriodicalId":413409,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 6th Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration (EI2)","volume":"2 12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120946111","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The large-scale application of electric vehicles presents an opportunity for power grid flexibility. In this paper, we consider a charging network operator providing responsive reserve considering electricity and carbon markets. We model this scenario as a mixed-integer linear programming problem, which aims to maximize revenue containing incentive subsidies and charging profits. The numerical case study shows that the charging network operator preferentially meets the contract demand in the reserve market if the incentive subsidy is more profitable than charging EVs. In order to solve the problem, an optimal control strategy of direct blocking HVDC system was proposed to solve the above issue. The optimization control strategy was verified by RTDS simulation. Then, a day-ahead optimal scheduling model of the ET-IES considering the temperature gradient constraints of the working fluid of the heat pipe network is constructed.
