Benefit from the separation of static distortions and dynamic distortions in box-oriented models and the application of coefficients interpolation, the proposed models significantly reduce the number of coefficients needed to be updated and extracted. Experiments have been carried out on a Gallium Nitride (GaN) power amplifier (PA) to show that proposed models can achieve the near linearization effect as conventional models, even though coefficients needed update when the average power changes decrease to 70% and 44% respectively for wiener structure and RTNTB structure models. In the implementation, two low impedance SIRs are placed on different layers, they generate strong capacitive coupling and form a wide passband. Further, the width of the stopband is improved by loading lowpass cells, while two extra poles formed to improve the passband response simultaneously. The final simulation proves the proposed filter has a passband bandwidth of 67.5%, while the circuit size is only 1.68mm×0.8mm×0.48mm, which has clear advantage in bandwidth and size to other similar LTCC based filters.","PeriodicalId":413224,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC)","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129870632","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

DSA is a technique for allowing secondary systems to use the same spectrum band at locations and times when the primary system is not used. In conventional DSA systems, the protection area has been set conservatively wide in anticipation of the worst case scenarios. Meanwhile, especially in the millimeter-wave band, which is expected to be used more in the future, it is greatly affected by the surrounding environment, such as the number of people and vehicles. As a result, the coverage of radio waves varies depending on environmental changes. Hence, by considering the temporal changes caused by the variations described above, it is possible to detect additional spectrum resources that will be newly available to the secondary system, allowing for more dynamic sharing. In this paper, we propose a method for predicting the received power of the primary system, which varies with environmental changes, using machine learning, and detecting future available spectrum resources. In order to reduce the False Detection Rate, which causes a risk of intersystem interference, while maintaining the Detection Rate of available spectrum resources, the proposed method performs time series prediction after extracting the envelope from the time series data of received power. The evaluation by simulation results showed that the proposed method can reduce the false detection rate of available resources by about 9%.","PeriodicalId":413224,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128369247","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Each OAM mode corresponds to an independent communication channel. The design ed transmitarray can compensate for the spatial phase delays from the two feed sources at different positions and generate vortex waves with two different OAM numbers simultaneously. Measured results of the transmitarray antenna prototype show that it can successfully generate two independent OAM modes with mode number l = -1 and +1 simultaneously. The introduced transmitarray antenna can find promising applications in millimeter-wave (mmW) high-speed OAM-based mode-division-multiplexing wireless communications.","PeriodicalId":413224,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC)","volume":"420 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128735506","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Two cases of microwave filters are considered, which include an all-pole classical coupled line filter and a linear phase filter with complex zeros. The poles and zeros obtained using vector fitting method with different chosen number of poles and fitting bandwidth are analyzed. It is found that the poles and zeros may be inconsistent depending on the chosen number of poles and bandwidth. Furthermore, the method may introduce spurious complex zeros that do not satisfy the S parameters unitary conditions, while the poles also do not maintain periodicity between frequency bands for transmission line structures. On the other hand, the poles and zeros obtained using contour integration method are consistent and certain. They also satisfy the unitary conditions and periodicity for transmission line structures.","PeriodicalId":413224,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC)","volume":"328 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124624523","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
