A. Mozart and Ukrainian lullabies performed by Maria Pylypchak. The methodology of the work is based on cultural analysis with elements of musicological analysis. The performed analysis provides familiarity with the ballet performance, the production of which took place on the theatre stage. Based on the synthesis of the obtained research results, the regularities of stage development in the interaction of choreography, music, and visualisation were established. The method of generalisation helped to record the sequence of formation of ballet images, disclosure of events in dialogue with music and visual series. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that the analysis of the said ballet by Radu Poklitaru has been conducted. The interaction of choreography, music, and visual series in the embodiment of the philosophical fairy tale by Antoine Saint-Exupéry is revealed. The text of the article can be used when preparing a lecture on teaching music-theoretical and music-historical disciplines. Conclusions. Based on the analysis of "The Little Prince" ballet performance, the musical characteristics of the Little Prince, Rose, Snake and other actors were revealed by Radu Poklitaru. The stage unity of choreography, music, and visual series helped embody artistic images in the music-theatre genre. Choreography (elements of classics, free movements, imagery in movements) is supported by musical emotion and visualisation. The visual series significantly influenced the transmission of the philosophy and content of the literary source. The dramaturgy of the ballet is subordinated to the plot development. The musical basis of ballet became the basis for the realisation of artistic images in ballet: Mozart's works (Symphony No. 1, Fantasia in D minor, Piano Concerto with Orchestra No. 23, Part 2) and Ukrainian lullabies. \u0000Key words: embodiment of the classics, literary source, piano music, symphony, fantasy, artistic image, Radu Poklitaru’s "The Little Prince" ballet, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ukrainian lullabies.

The research methodology is based on historical-biographical and historical-cultural methods. The scientific novelty of the proposed article lies in the fact that most of the given information is provided directly «from the first mouth» and for the first time. This mainly concerns to certain episodes of V. Matiukhin’s biography, related to his school and student years, teachers, views on the performance of modern music and the art of conducting. The article is written in a rather atypical format for a scientific presentation, which is based on the direct speech of the main character. His speech is prepared or supplemented by appropriate explanations of the author of the article, made post factum. This is explained by the fact that the author of the article has been working in this band for more than two decades (since April 2001) and knows it, as they say, «from the inside». But since music is, after all, a non-verbal art, that «speaks for itself», over the years quite a lot of questions have been accumulated regarding the history of the orchestra in general and the creative path of V. Matiukhin in particular ‒ questions that have not yet been clarified in musicology. Therefore, on the occasion of the specified anniversary date, we decided to talk with Valerii Oleksandrovych and bring this conversation to the general public Conclusions. The conducted research confirms that V. Matiukhin has a great deal of credit for the success of the «Kyiv Camerata». Most of the band’s prospects appeared due to the magnetism of his personality, based again on deep knowledge and understanding of the essence of his profession, high internal culture and great modesty. That is why, in the process of communication with the Maestro, we once again became convinced that the study of the activities of an outstanding band must begin with the study of the creative figure of V. Matiukhin. \u0000Key words: Ukrainian instrumental music, V. Matiukhin-conductor, «Kyiv Camerata», creative works of Y. The methodology of the research includes the scientific and theoretical approach to the study of cultural policy and the method of analysis and synthesis. The historical-comparative method made it possible to identify the distinctive features of the legislation of Ukraine and the EU regarding the regulation of relations in the socio-cultural sphere. Methods of observation, information gathering, descriptive and generalisation methods allowed us to find out the level of compliance between the cultural strategies in Ukraine with the cultural practices of the European countries. The scientific novelty. For the first time culture and its practical implementation is considered as a tool for the formation and implementation of value-meaning needs of a person, citizen, and an ethnic group, as a carrier of retrospective symbols, images, and stylistic catalysts. Conclusions. Generated and coordinated by the European Commission and the Council of Europe Work Plans for Culture initiative should be considered a stylistically semantic initiative that takes into account global, state, and strategic-political changes in the EU cultural sector. The cultural diversity of the EU member states is ensured by maintaining the priority of national cultural component of an individual state on the basis of strategy making, proportionality, subsidiarity, and continuous cooperation. Nowadays, the normative provision of culture as a tool for the implementation of value-orientational needs of a person acquires relevance for the state-building processes of the Europeanisation of Ukraine. The methodology. Due to the specific features of the research, the combination of musicology and literary methods should be involved, as well as general scientific methods. So that, the musical analysis and the observation of stage production take place in direct connection with the features of the literal works and in general sociocultural context. Comparative method has been used to identify the characteristic features of such interpretations in different eras and in the works of different artists. The facts were summarised and structured with the use of the analytical method. Scientific novelty of the work lies in the presenting of the genre-style diversity of musical interpretations of the poetry of Ukrainian classics. Features of most musical works of the modern performers are described for the first time. Conclusions. The poetry of Ukrainian classics has a prominent feature – internal musicality, which up till now makes composers and singers turn to it and create their own new interpretations. This feature helps poetry to appear in the great variety of musical genres: from vocal, for example, song, romance or ballade, to genres that are bound with dance or theatre art, such as musical, mono-play, opera, or ballet. Traditionally, musical interpretations of the poetry were related to classical music. However, musicians’ attitude to the interpretation of the poetry of Ukrainian classics totally changed in the end of the XX century. After Ukraine reached its Independence, such interpretations have done the «break-out» and widened their stylistic paradigm to the great diversity – from academic acoustics to rock, rap core and many other different styles. To present these features, the musical compositions of the duo «Telniuk Sisters», bands «Komu Vnyz», «Plach Yeremii», «Haidamaky», and «Tartak» were used in the research. The article also illustrates the interpretations of the literary heritage of the classics in ballet art, as a vivid example of the fact that not only vocal works are born from the interaction of words and music. \u0000Key words: musical interpretations of the poetry of the classics, synthesis of literature and music, Ukrainian classic poets, Ukrainian pop performers, vocal music, ballet art.

The research methodology is based on a complex system approach combining a critical understanding of literature, source studies, music-analytical, comparative methods in the analysis of musical texts. In the comparative analysis of irmoses of different lists, we use the scientific provisions by O. Tsalai-Yakymenko regarding the formative principles of time dimensional metric in sacral monody. The scientific novelty of the research consists in clarifying the sources of the musical texts of irmoses’ canons of the Baptism of Jesus and the Epiphany of Church Prostopinije by Bokshay-Malynych in 1906, structuring of the musical material, features of changes in the formation of condensed forms of singing liturgical texts. Conclusions. The analysis of irmoses’ musical texts of the Baptism of Jesus and the Epiphany of Prostopinije shows a direct connection with the manuscript and printed irmologions. The main differences in Prostopinije's irmoses are caused due to the orientation of church singers to concise and simplified forms of singing liturgical texts, the use of several typical chants, as a result of which the new intonation formations have taken place. Shtyrbul
The purpose of the study is to analyse the modern embodiment of the eternal image of Orpheus created on the basis of an artistic revaluation of an ancient myth, which over a significant period of its existence has changed its role from the model of archaic society to inclusion in the great cultural context of the art of today. The methodological base of the study consists of a number of methods. Analytical method is used to penetrate the essence of the Orpheus as an artist, which allows us to learn about the motives of his actions. The comparative method is applied to compare and contrast the primary mythological image with its transformed variants. The use of the historical method is necessary in order to trace the development of the eternal image in art in different historical periods. The study of such a well-known image is impossible without the use of a descriptive method since its origins are in mythological sources. The scientific novelty of the study is to consider the eternal image of Orpheus, which exists in art as a generating model of reality. The proof of this thesis is based on the analysis of the examples of modern revaluated embodiment of the mythological plot by giving it the meaning that is relevant to the present socio-cultural meaning. Demonstration of such plot and motive transformations not only eliminates the distance between history and modernity, but also gives rise to a “new” myth that plays the role of a model of new reality. Conclusions. Some well-known plots, being repeatedly told and retold, inevitably undergo changes, significantly moving away from their primary source. The story of Orpheus, reflected in the works of art of different genres, functions as a kind of evolutionary power within the constantly expanding culture. An ancient legend of the Thracian Singer is a constant motif of new creations that not only contradict the cultural and historical development of humankind, but also contribute to it protecting the artistic heritage of the past from cultural oblivion by creating a transformed model of image that is actively involved in the creation of new reality. \u0000Keywords: myth about Orpheus, eternal image, adaptation, transformation, symbol of art, alter-ego, turn, the gaze of Orpheus.

The methodology of the article is formed by a set of methods such as art history and structural axiological methods. The methods of empirical research of works of art are used: observation, comparison, and experiment. Scientific novelty. We have found that currently children's blogging is one of the determining factors in the development of children as individuals and causes the emergence of new forms of culture, in particular, cyber culture. Conclusions. Culture involves the transmission from one generation to the next of historically acquired rules of behaviour, spiritual, and material values for the preservation and development of society. It used to provide direct communication between generations. Nowadays, young people balance between two realities – social and virtual, so they often acquire social and cultural experience primarily on the Internet. Scientific novelty. For the first time in Ukrainian cultural studies, the functions of the country's brand as a socio-cultural phenomenon have been identified and substantiated. Conclusions. The national brand is a socio-cultural phenomenon that reflects all social processes and has every opportunity to influence the construction and positioning of most aspects of social life. After all, within the country borders, the brand reflects certain social processes and the corresponding system of values of the socio-cultural community and each individual who fits into its lifestyle. Therefore, the modern branding of the country should be a practice of construction, implementation, positioning, and management, which should be based primarily on the socio-cultural potential of the brand that best reveals its dual nature. On the one hand, it is the reflection of the socio-cultural reality, and on the other hand, it actively influences the processes that take place in it. Among the main sociocultural functions of national branding, we single out the following ones: unifying-nation-building, differential-identification, symbolic-meaningful, negenthropic-revitalisation.
