The methodology of the research. The study uses the analytical method as a methodology to study the miniatures of the Ambrosian Iliad, as well as to study the theoretical material on the ceremonial and ritual type of \"entertainment\"; the historical and cultural method is used to analyse the miniature as one of the visual components of the ceremonial and ritual \"entertainment\" in the socio-cultural life of Antiquity; the art history method is used for a detailed examination of the miniatures of the Ambrosian Iliad, which is a unique illuminated manuscript of the fifth century, depicting almost the entire Iliad of Homer, with special attention to the scenes of ritualistic spectacles. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the study of the miniatures of the Ambrosian Iliad as an element of visualisation of ritual and ritual \"entertainment\", as well as the miniature as one of the visual components of ritual and ritual \"entertainment\" in the socio-cultural life of Antiquity. Conclusions. The article examines the miniatures of the Ambrosian Iliad as an element of visualisation of ceremonial and ritual \"entertainment\" in the culture of antiquity. It is determined that in the Ambrosian Iliad, over time, there was a tendency to shift the emphasis from literary issues to an increased interest in mythological and Homeric \"images\" in the visual context (Anthony Snodgrass, Karl Schefold and Luca Giuliani, H. Shapiro), and the miniatures of the Ambrosian Iliad are also considered as a social phenomenon in the culture of late antiquity (Ceil Parks Bare). The history of the manuscript and the characteristic feature of the Ambrosian Iliad miniatures (the use of gold and red shades in clothing, orange and green palette in drawing the background) are considered. The miniatures, the plot of which is devoted to ritualistic spectacles, are especially considered: Calchas made a prediction that, according to a sign he saw of a dragon killing nine birds in Avlida, Troy should fall only in the tenth year of the siege. Agamemnon suggests that the Greek soldiers return home and lift the siege, but they know about this sign and the sacrifice and stay because they believe in the signs of Calchas. Another miniature shows the Greek kings under the leadership of Agamemnon sacrificing a bull to Zeus. And the most interesting is the miniature where Achilles asks Zeus to pardon and save the life of Patroclus, his foster brother, by sacrificing to Zeus. The classification of five groups of miniatures of the Ambrosian Iliad proposed by Bandinelli is considered. Research methodology. The research methods are based on the fundamental principles of cultural analysis of Ukrainian society from the perspective of modern scientific concepts. The methodological core of the study is based on such scientific fields as phenomenology and hermeneutics to reveal the creative potential of Ukrainian culture. By means of a systemic analysis, the determinants of the identity crisis in Ukraine are investigated and strategic directions of cultural policy for its overcoming are defined. The scientific novelty is to identify the priorities of cultural policy for the effective reform of Ukrainian society by forming a new cultural code of the nation and a new Ukrainian identity that corresponds to the modern socio-cultural paradigm. Conclusions. The article emphasises the importance of enhancing the role of culture for the successful modernisation of Ukrainian society. To implement this project, it is necessary to reform the ideology of the state cultural policy with an emphasis on the development of the creative potential of the people and its consolidation. The strategic guidelines of cultural policy as a value-based foundation for reforms are defined. It is proved, firstly, that the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the people is an important resource for the formation of a new identity of the nation, and the main mechanism of social development is the continuity of culture. Secondly, in order to create a sustainable cultural industry capable of competing at the national and international levels, it is necessary to focus on its innovative development and the introduction of digital and modern management technologies into the cultural sphere. Research methodology. To achieve the goal, general scientific (analysis and synthesis, generalisation) and special research methods were used. The systematic-analytical method made it possible to determine the features of modern art education, and the axiological method helped to identify the value priorities of art education, taking into account the needs of society and the artist. The method of theoretical generalisation was used to establish the specifics of the functioning of art education in modern conditions. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the theoretical understanding of modern processes in art education, taking into account its personal, creative, and social potential. Conclusions. In general, the organisation of higher education in Ukraine provides a comprehensive approach to the training of an artist. The level of higher art education largely reflects the state of national education in general, the ability of students to act as producers of material and spiritual values, which characterises them as the spiritual potential of Ukraine. In order to address the issue of artistic education's relevance to contemporary civilisational challenges, its structure should be systematically modernised, taking into account the national educational experience gained. Traditional art education should be aimed at educating not only a producer of material values, but also a specialist capable of passing on his experience to a new generation, promoting spiritual values and interest in artistic activity among society by his own example. The research methodology is based on the application of general scientific (analysis, synthesis, induction, and deduction) methods of studying mediatisation as a social institution. The scientific novelty of the results obtained lies in the generalisation of the work of foreign scholars, which will contribute to the formation of mediatisation as a social meta-process by the Ukrainian scientific community, in particular, the identification of its stages and the clarification of socio-cultural consequences, which are undoubtedly ambivalent. Conclusions. The author emphasises that the problem of mediatisation of culture is actualised by the need to understand the originality of this process and clarify its specifics in order to explain the mutual influence of mass media, social institutions, and society. The key views of leading foreign mediologists on the process of mediatisation, its properties, role in modern society, and the relationship between the mediatisation of culture and society and technological changes are highlighted. The article concludes that mediatisation is a dynamic, ambivalent, and multi-layered process; it is a dominant factor in the development of society, which, by its consequences, is understood at the level of other large-scale transformational processes. Since ancient times, all ritual actions have been accompanied by words, singing, melody, movements, gestures – that is, by standardised ritual formulas. Thus, dance traditions reflected the worldview and were an expressive means of culture of a particular ethnic group and are still an active factor in the cultural dialogue between the past and modern culture. The research methodology is based on general scientific and special methods: a systematic approach (rituals in the cultural system are substantiated), a structural approach (dance is considered as a phenomenon in the context of cultural practices), a synergistic approach (as a complementary component of the study of dance traditions and the dynamics of their demonstration in the context of calendar rituals). It is through traditions that choreography is able to artistically and aesthetically demonstrate and organise the moving archetypes of human inner freedom and, at the same time, symbolically embody the plastic dynamics of the external world of song in dance images. The scientific novelty is that the modern character of dance in the segments of the cultural core of the traditions of the calendar rituals of Shrovetide is revealed. The idea of dance traditions in the calendar rituals of Shrovetide as a special form of presentation of cultural narratives is substantiated. Therefore, it is now necessary to intensify scientific research on these issues, to comprehend the essence of the historical process of development and preservation of traditions with their subsequent implementation both in Ukraine as a whole and in individual regions. Conclusions. The narratives of \"dance in the calendar rituals\" are impossible without analysing the heritage of folk traditions. Conclusions. The development of the economy in the post-industrial information society and the dynamics of modern mass culture, combined with the latest cultural practices, have led to the formation of a creative environment in various spheres of human activity, where the factor of cultural creation plays a significant role as a generator of innovativeness in professional activity. The main method of the article is comperative analysis, as we have tried to compare and highlight the key forms of festival and competition activities of the studied theatres and their socio-cultural context. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the comparative analysis of the festival and competition activities of opera houses in the socio-cultural context (on the examples of the national opera houses of Kyiv, Odesa, and Lviv in recent years). Conclusions. The research methodology was based on the use of the following methods: analysis and synthesis – in order to study the source base of the article; comparative, which helped to establish the approaches of different countries, including Ukraine, to the representation of their culture to the world; as well as a synergistic approach based on the idea of self-organisation of culture, which we observe in the current social conditions. The scientific novelty of the article is that it presents for the first time blogs as an important tool of Ukraine’s cultural diplomacy. They have to broadcast Ukraine’s culture to the world – original, authentic, rooted, and at the same time modern and constantly evolving. Conclusions. Art is a powerful tool of Ukraine’s cultural diplomacy. Understanding by the foreign community of the specifics of the cultural characteristics of Ukrainians as a nation will contribute to the establishment of Ukraine as a cultural entity at the international level, and through the prism of culture will form an objective understanding of the nature of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The research methodology used in the course of scientific research is based on an interdisciplinary approach and includes general scientific methods of systematisation and analysis of the issue under study, which allowed specifying and substantiating strategic approaches to the development of academic culture in the university community. The objectives of the scientific research necessitated the use of an analytical approach, which helped to outline the advantages and disadvantages of the process of introducing academic culture in higher education institutions. The scientific novelty lies in the disclosure of the essence and significance of academic culture in higher education institutions of Ukraine; scientific substantiation of the strategic trends of academic culture policy in the context of motivation and incentives. Conclusions. The development of the academic culture space requires the improvement of a series of factors in the system of higher education institutions: from identifying and proving cases of dishonesty to the use of appropriate tools as methods of punishment. These issues are reflected in the majority of national papers and publications on academic integrity. In order to introduce a high level of academic culture in the university community, the following steps should be taken: to have a clear, effective, and transparent system to support a high level of academic culture in an educational institution; to focus on the capabilities of students rather than on prohibitions, metaphorical restrictions, and intimidation; to synthesise academic culture and learning space through the holistic structure of any educational component.
