As the biomedical data are rapidly accumulated in the web, the retrieval of information by the specialists becomes challenging. The Semantic web represent the solution, through the transformation of existing data with ontologies that describe their concepts in explicit detail, into machine-readable, understandable and logical processable multifunctional metadata. Herein, using bibliographic reasoning, we present a cardiological ontology in the form of N-triples that facilitates the interplay between three scientific subdomains: (i) clinical, including anatomy, physiology and pathology; (ii) basic biological, including genes, proteins and biochemical pathways; and (iii) therapeutical cardiology, including surgical and pharmacological interventions. This Semantic research approach is anticipated to produce integrated answers into complex cardiovascular biology problems such as disease risks and genotype, combinatory therapeutics and genotype, translational and personalized medicine, while it may serve as a road map for similar applications in other scientific domains.","PeriodicalId":410941,"journal":{"name":"2018 5th International Conference on Mathematics and Computers in Sciences and Industry (MCSI)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125011861","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Here, a novel adaptive 3D deep learning nonlinear equalizer based on an artificial neural network is experimentally demonstrated for multi-channel coherent optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing. It is shown that adaptive 3D deep learning outperforms 2D machine learning and the deterministic goldstandard digital back-propagation at 3200 km of single-mode fibre transmission. This occurs since our technique can tackle both deterministic and stochastic nonlinear distortions.","PeriodicalId":410941,"journal":{"name":"2018 5th International Conference on Mathematics and Computers in Sciences and Industry (MCSI)","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124218772","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the phenomenon that are being pursued by scientists around the world is problematic of foundation in contact with subsoil. Calculating an estimated deformation with computer has an advantage, that even large problems with complicated geometry can be solved relatively easily with comparison to analytical calculations which are suitable mainly for simple shapes of foundations whereby the upper structure is expressed by loading. However, the problem is that although the computational models are constantly developed the optimal procedure is still don't known to provide sufficiently accurate results that works under all conditions. Hence it is necessarily to explore behavior on simple models before proceeding to a large scale modeling. To observe this problematics series of numerical models based on the theory of elastic half - space was constructed in Ansys. Some models had constant width of subsoil while depth was changing and others was made with constant depth with changing width. All other variables were defined identical for all models. Also three different types of boundary conditions were investigated. Dependence of the width of cube size and height of cube size in response to the boundary conditions to the total deformation was inspected.","PeriodicalId":410941,"journal":{"name":"2018 5th International Conference on Mathematics and Computers in Sciences and Industry (MCSI)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132008994","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Crank-Nicolson scheme is applied for time discretization and wavelets are applied for space discretization. Hermite cubic spline wavelets with four vanishing moments are adaptively used because they enable higher order approximations, are well-conditioned, have short supports, have a high potential in adaptive methods due to the four vanishing wavelet moments and mainly because arising stiffness matrices are sparse in wavelet coordinates. Due to irregularities of the initial data in the Black-Scholes model, the use of the second-order Crank-Nicolson scheme usually requires a certain amount of damping to compensate for the known weak stability of this scheme. We numerically show here that optimal convergence rate for a proposed adaptive wavelet discretization in space can be obtained without any damping and without any restriction on the time step. A numerical example is given for the Black-Scholes equation with real data from the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. We also compare numerical results for adaptive and non-adaptive wavelet discretization in space.","PeriodicalId":410941,"journal":{"name":"2018 5th International Conference on Mathematics and Computers in Sciences and Industry (MCSI)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114744931","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Security in companies is very complex issue and it is not good to deal with every type of security separately. Research described in this paper is focused on the evaluation of resilience based on combination of physical and cyber security which is called as converged security. This paper is pilot study with emphasize on static factors of cyber security. Cyber security resilience is evaluated with utilization of multi-criterial decision making methods. This helps with prioritization and finding the most important factors that have the major effect on overall level of cyber security in company.","PeriodicalId":410941,"journal":{"name":"2018 5th International Conference on Mathematics and Computers in Sciences and Industry (MCSI)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130083817","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays, the Soft targets are the main topic in security. Many terrorist attacks show that violence is a big problem and it is necessary to find solutions. The Soft targets are the place, object or event that are specific to the accumulation of a large number of people and the absence or low level of security measures against violent assaults. However, these characteristics are insufficient. Very important is attractiveness. This attractiveness is the goal of our research and this article. We tried to describe the attractiveness of the object, place or events and to calculate how big the attractiveness is. It is important for planning of security measures because we can predict what object, place or event will be the other target of terrorist attack with the help of attractiveness. We used MCDM (multi-criteria decision making) for the calculation of this attractiveness.","PeriodicalId":410941,"journal":{"name":"2018 5th International Conference on Mathematics and Computers in Sciences and Industry (MCSI)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114319453","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Real signals often contain large amounts of data. In order to derive the required information and values from these signals, an application must process them and generate clear and simple output formats - usually in the form of charts. These charts should have an interactive character, with many properties and parameter settings. In the web interface, many visualisation frameworks solve this problem. This article describes some of them - suitable for use in real environments. It is followed by the next part, in which new testing applications were designed and included in these frameworks. There is also a discussion of practical experience with them, using large real data from the industrial environment.","PeriodicalId":410941,"journal":{"name":"2018 5th International Conference on Mathematics and Computers in Sciences and Industry (MCSI)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128003142","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
