The Viola-Jones algorithm detects the face of the driver and the constrained local model detects their mouth area before three lips features are extracted. Hidden Markov models are utilized to recognize speech and lip movement, with the lip movement recognizer offering better accuracy than the speech recognizer in a noisy environment. Three fusion methods are utilized to combine lip-movement and speech. Time Difference of Arrival is one of the popular models to estimate the location of signal source using multiple sensors. Closed-form and exact-solution algorithms are commonly utilized to solve non-linear distance equations in the model through linearization process. As an alternative, hyperbola-tracing algorithm to find intersection point between two hyperbolas is proposed in this paper. This algorithm starts with reduction of possible solution space into half of a quadrant in 2D problem. It is carried out through comparison of time of signal arrival at each sensor. Two pairs of sensors are then selected to build two hyperbolas. The second step consists of particle-filter-based approach to seek the intersection of these two non-linear functions. Some of the scenario which affect to the Zone Protection of Distance Relay has been observed. The result shows that the apparent impedance was passes through both the Zone 1 and Zone 2 of protection of distance relay during installing the DG system to the network. In this study, the distance relay is chosen to be a protective system into the system network in order to protect the transmission lines. The distance relay will have the instantaneous directional Zone 1 protection and one or more time delayed zones. The tripping signal produced by Zone 1 is instantaneous that is should not reach as far as the busbar at the end of the first line so it is to cover only 80-85% of the protected line of transmission lines. The remaining 15-20% provides a factor of safety in order to mitigate against errors introduced by the current and voltage transformer, and line impedance calculations. The 15-20% at the end of the line is protected by Zone 2. Within this context, the SCL policy is a logistics strategy whereby many small shipments are combined into a few larger loads. This research involves a case study of an actual automotive assembly line. The spotlight is on the inbound and outbound logistics in an attempt to reduce the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions on the environment. Based on the data collected from the assembly line a System Dynamics (SD) simulation model was created. The inbound logistics shipment policy is based on both time and quantity based model. And the outbound logistics is time based model shipment policy. The results of the SD model have shown that difficulty in the use of SCL based decisions on inventory due to the complexity and fragmented nature of automotive inventory. However; the model results indicated reduced vehicle emissions when transporting inventory. This is due to Arabic as the language of the Holy book of Muslims; hence it has attracted attention of native speakers and other Muslims who are non-native Arabic speakers as they need to use Arabic language while performing worships. Therefore, this research investigated Arabic phonemes recognition specifically for Malay speakers. The proposed methods are evaluated and examined utilizing a corpus which contains Arabic phoneme tokens with Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) as feature extraction. Next, recognition process is attained using Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) and Pattern Recognition Neural Network (PRNN) for verifying the similarity between the Arabic phonemes. In this study, three methods are used to evaluate the recognition stage. Firstly, DTW and PRNN are evaluated solely followed by combination of both. Induction furnace is used for melting metal to process raw material scrap into steel ferrit rate 0.22 wt % carbons. The dynamics response of the induction furnace temperature affects the resulting product. Therefore, the controller of temperature dynamics is required to produce the desired process response. The induction furnace systems consist of electrical and thermal system dynamics. The dynamics of the electrical system represents the induction furnace system in the form of an electric circuit i.e. fed current inverter with a parallel resonant circuit. Meanwhile, the thermal system dynamics represents the thermal energy transfer process, which is developed with the principle of energy balance, including heat generated energy and heat loss. Induction furnace system dynamics is modelled in an order 2 system, with a time constant coil 1000 times faster than time constant temperature. Thus, by ignoring the time constant coil, induction furnace system dynamic model can be transformed into a first order nonlinear system. Then, linear system can be obtained by making a replacement variable. Induction furnace temperature control has been implemented by adjusting the PWM to control the input power to the induction furnace. PI controller is designed in three cases, namely linear model with linear PI controller, saturated linear model with linear PI controller, and saturated linear model with anti-windup PI controller. Each case is simulated by Simulink. To get the appropriate specifications, the temperature should be controlled at 912 Celsius degree. In this paper, the Error Level Analysis (ELA) technique was evaluated with different types of image tampering, including JPEG compression, image splicing, copy-move and image retouching. We have proposed two robust methods in enhancing the existing sensing projection based scheme (SP-Based precoding scheme). The first proposed scheme is the full projection based precoding scheme (FP-Based precoding). In this scheme, the Cognitive radio transmission is fully projected into a calculated null space of the interference channel. This scheme possesses the ability to increase the CR throughput without causing interference to the primary network. The scheme has the ability to increase the CR throughput without causing interference to the primary network. In the second scheme, the CR transmission is projected into a subspace area which partially covers the null space of the interference channel. This scheme however further improves the CR-throughput within the tolerance level of the primary system.
