The testing of these newly appeared devices is becoming more and more of a challenge to testing professionals. In the automobile industry, it is not enough anymore to put customers into the main focus of testing-instead, testing should closely fit the standards and directives concerning development. So, in my article, I am going to examine the standards and processes used in the safety-critical development system within the automobile industry. Regarding these standards, directives, and traditional testing aspects, I am going to determine testing groups and their related test activities. At the end of my article, I am going to illustrate the testing concept with examples.","PeriodicalId":409514,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117050309","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the subfield of road accident black spot localisation, the high number of similar black spot candidate locations makes this method unreliable and difficult to use. An additional process to convert the clusters of the heatmap into a list of black spot candidates results in an objective, comparable outcome. As we will show, the commonly used thresholding method (considering pixels above a given limit as parts of black spots) has several limitations. This paper presents a novel image processing approach to quantify the raw data of the heatmap. It is possible to give a more accurate splitting between black spot and safe areas, using the morphological function named erosion.","PeriodicalId":409514,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"113 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121529270","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is often difficult to determine from the source code what task was solved, due to the diversity of programming. For this reason, developers often do not recognize the functionality of existing codes and waste time by re-implementing the problem. This paper presents a machine-based model that can effectively identify and assign the source code to the solved task. Machine learning implements by a convolution network, which requires the presence of consistent (properly functioning, outputs the expected output for each input) source codes to the input. To convert the text data will be used for text processing using CBOW model, which model will be able to classify the source codes written in the same language.","PeriodicalId":409514,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"178 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120870428","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We proved also theoretically that these problems could be solved in linear time. In this article we present a DPLL-based problem specific SAT solver called BaW 1.0. Problem specific, because the BaW 1.0 is not a complete SAT solver, it is only validated for our special black-and-white 2-SAT problem based benchmarks. First, we show how to solve the black-and-white 2-SAT problems in linear time and how to use this solver for effective strong connectivity testing in large and sparse directed graphs. After that we present our results on these benchmarks which show that remarkable improvements have taken place in the number of solved instances as well as in the computation time compared to existing modern State-of-the-art SAT solvers (CSFLOC 8, Glucose 3.0).","PeriodicalId":409514,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127400966","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To provide dynamically feasible trajectory planning for vehicles based on different control goals one has to deal with the trade-off between numerical resources and correctness. The first part of the paper presents a solution which uses classical optimization based approach that generates the expected results though on the expense of computational effort, which is not acceptable in real-time environment. Two hybrid approaches are introduced in the second part, where the optimization is replaced or aided with artificial neural networks (ANN), trained with the data generated off-line by the first planner. Results show that the solution highly decreases the running time of the algorithm, with almost the same level of performance. The described algorithm can be used as a base for a generic dynamically feasible yet real-time solution.","PeriodicalId":409514,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132136616","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The benefit of integrating high speed electronic elements with the antenna design is demonstrated numerically. The antenna structure is constructed from non-concentric two elliptical patches for broad band applications in spread spectrum systems. Two identical antennas are fed with a microstrip line of two branches with a phase shift to perform a Phase Shift Keying (PSK) modulation. Using Computer Simulation Technology/Microwave Studio (CSTMWS) based on Finite Integral Technique (FIT) of Frequency Domain (FD) algorithm, an optimization process is applied to design the transmission line structure at the desired resonance frequency of the antenna element. The other important part that is achieved in this work is the antenna patch reduction to be suitable for biomedical devices. A cylindrical substrate is used to bend the antenna structure on for biomedical applications. Plenty of the results of these research papers contradict each other regarding the performance of these architectures. Therefore, these two architectures are compared in this paper, and some specific configurations of microservices' applications are evaluated as well in the term of service discovery. Monolithic architecture in concurrency testing showed better performance in throughput by 6% when compared to microservices architecture. The load testing scenario did not present significant difference between the two architectures. Furthermore, a third test comparing microservices applications built with different service discovery technologies such as Consul and Eureka showed that applications with Consul presented better results in terms of throughput.","PeriodicalId":409514,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124719999","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
