However, human society is extremely complex, therefore if we would like to obtain a mathematically tractable model, then we have to cut down the complexity. It is a common approach to modelling only a particular aspect of the complex behaviour. We are primarily interested in how networks of the human society come into being, because the processes that shape our society operate on these networks. In this paper we highlight one aspect, and try to model the following situation: there is a closed population of agents, where each agent has a level of extrovert behaviour: every agent knows the desired number of connections that she or he would like to maintain. Here we discuss very simple models, where each agent votes on the connections according to their preferences, and the connections are based on the votes.","PeriodicalId":409514,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128258759","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this reason the periodical inspection is essential. By presenting some possible damages in practice, this paper shows the importance of overhead lines inspection. To fulfill this requirement the application of drones is recommended, but in a way that much bigger priority is given to autonomous drones in comparison to remote controlled ones. The paper also advises the implementation of the equation of the conductor curve in the process of planning the trajectory of the autonomous drone used for inspection of an overhead line. As it consists of a lot of different spans, the trajectory of a drone has to follow the conductor curves in each span of an overhead line which has to be inspected. The development of drones grows rapidly nowadays due to their wide applicability in the environment of overhead lines.","PeriodicalId":409514,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129152348","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When the car faces an unresolvable traffic situation, it hands over the control to the human driver. The speed and quality of the handover process is crucial in terms of safety; a handover with large delay time may lead to a fatal accident. We investigated the current human driver models in the literature, and combined these models to get a deeper understanding of the phenomenon of the handover process. We demonstrated the possible ways of improving the drivers' performance during the handover processes, previously shown in the literature separately, and developed a unified way to explain how the performance can be improved. It is concluded that the most important factors that can improve the handover performance are the timely prediction of the handover action, an informative human-machine interface and proper training of the driver.","PeriodicalId":409514,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129647370","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This means that frequent coordinate information can be recorded in the entire duration of the flight with varying frequency according to the type. Several aerial photography applications utilize these data. If the drone is equipped with a sensitive gamma detector the flight coordinates can be assigned to gamma measurement data. These groups of data provide an opportunity during the gamma detector-based scan of an area to determine its radiation distribution. The method can provide help to explore and localize patterns, stored or transported illegally, which exhaust gamma radiation. This paper introduces a system based on practical experiments which makes the localization of small-dose patterns possible as well as the creation of a qualitative gamma radiation map in a given area. The method can be primarily used in terrain circumstances, first and foremost to detect low-activity gamma radiators.","PeriodicalId":409514,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129904496","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Analysing these locations can help to avoid further traffic accidents and personal injuries (most of all, fatal accidents). There are several already known methods in literature for this purpose and this paper contains a comparison between the most frequently used ones: sliding-window method (using constant and variable window size), 2D sliding-window method (using constant and variable window width and height), Density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise (DBSCAN) based data-mining method (which is also a spatial method). This paper takes into account the latest technical developments in the field (available high computational capability, accuracy given by the Global Positioning System, usage of graphics accelerators and further parallel devices, etc.), The evaluation contains both the qualitative and quantitative aspects; considering accuracy, processing speed, parameter sensibility, etc.","PeriodicalId":409514,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126414564","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For national scale remote patient monitoring we have to deal with the large number of data sources multiplied by the number of sensor modalities and high sampling rates. Such non-stop data acquisition is producing huge amount of medical data, which is hard to manage, process and visualize. We are developing methods to deal with such amount of data and provide valuable information for the medical professionals. In this talk we are exploring the key problems we have now concerning remote patient monitoring. Furthermore information about recent solutions will be provided, with examples of individual and population health status assessment frameworks.","PeriodicalId":409514,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"113 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132368690","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to keep up with the pace also the technology stack of research institutions needs to adapt. However, the portion of data is not the only reason. With the boom in the area of Artificial Intelligence one can seize the advantage of insights hidden in the data. In order to develop trading strategies, describe the behavior present in the market, one can grasp the concepts of supervised and unsupervised learning. In this paper we describe the basic idea behind these types of learning and propose a framework which ingests the limit order book data and prepares them onto a form where the learning is easily applicable.","PeriodicalId":409514,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130452286","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper investigates technical, risk and security related challenges of blockchain. The use of this technology is viewed in light of financial crime that pose a threat to security on national and international level as well. Firstly, elements of blockchain technology and the reasons they really matter are explained. Secondly, we focus on national security and how is it affected by the criminal use of cryptocurrencies. Thirdly, we elaborate on the lack of standards and mechanisms in connection with illegal activities, particularly money-laundering and financing terrorism. Finally, we suggest the use of fuzzy methods for security analysis and testing, and compatibility with GDPR for better protection of the recorded data in chain. We conclude that a collaboration of responsible entities in different sectors is needed as well as the investigation of potential ways in which actors can exploit further applications. The convergence of terrorism and cybercrime should be considered, and the necessary preventive actions taken.","PeriodicalId":409514,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics (CINTI)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131166578","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
