The TOGA and DAGUSIBU drug utilization program can be the right solution to overcome this problem. From the discussions conducted with the community in the Marikurubu sub-district, Ternate City, information was obtained that in that area there had never been socialized about the benefits of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) and Dagusibu. The purpose of this service is to increase the knowledge of the Marikurubu community about how to manage family medicinal plants (TOGA) and to socialize how to get, use, store and dispose of good medicines. This activity was carried out by outreach to the public about TOGA and Dagusibu, especially drugs used for the treatment of Covid-19. The socialization activity went smoothly with enthusiastic participants in participating in the program, as seen by the many questions asked by the community before conducting the socialization activity the week before we planted plants with medicinal properties. The number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia continues to increase, including in North Maluku. The virus that causes COVID-19 is transmitted through direct hand touch, communication, and other fluid exchanges. Various efforts are being made to reduce the spread of this disease. One of the COVID-19 prevention efforts carried out is the use of hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizers generally contain 62% alcohol, softeners, and moisturizers. The benefits of hand sanitizer made from shrimp skin chitosan can microbiologically prevent bacteria, fungi, and viruses that affect the health of the skin and body. The purpose of this activity is to answer community unrest faced by the scarcity of hand sanitizer products in the market and help prevent the transmission of COVID-19 around the Morotai community. The manufacture of hand sanitizer is carried out at the FPIK Unipas Morotai Laboratory. On March 23, 2020, hand sanitizer distribution in Unipas Morotai Campus Environment, City Park, Imam Lastori Port, and Morotai Police Office Environment. Based on the results of this Community Service activity, hand sanitizer is available to the community. The Faculty of Engineering, Khairun University, through the 2020 Faculty of Engineering Community Service activities, carried out mask distribution activities to people who often did activities outside the home and informal workers. This Community Service activity was carried out in the Jati Village and the targets of this service were the congregation of the Nurul Insan Mosque and informal workers in the Jati Village. During the pandemic, community activities decline, boarding houses are empty and uninhabited, food stalls are deserted, printing, transportation and other sectors seem to have stopped their activities. The government has implemented a new normal so that people can carry out their activities again but still have to enforce health protocols to prevent clusters of spreading COVID-19. Ada beberapa insiden yang mengancam keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja, salah satunya tercebaknya 5 penambang dalam lombong penggalian akibat genangan air saat hujan turun. Kegiatan sosialisasi keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) kepada pelaku PESK menjadi penting dilakukan untuk memastikan operasi penambangan di wilayah izin pertambangan rakyat (IPR) di Desa Anggai berlangsung dengan baik. Sosialisasi K3 yang akan dilakukan meliputi kesadaran melakukan operasi penambangan yang aman dari bahaya, pentingnya memakai alat pelindung diri (APD) standar, infrastruktur penunjang (blower, tali yang kuat sebagai alat transportasi ore atau penambang, penerangan, sistem penyanggaan yang kuat) dalam lombong atau sumur penggalian yang menunjang keselamatan dan kesehatan para penambang; penanganan dan reduksi pereaksi kimia yang digunakan dalam pengolahan (merkuri, sianida dan bahan kimia lainnya). Sosialisasi K3 ini diharapkan bisa menjadi transfer pengetahuan guna dipraktekan oleh para pekerja tambang emas skala kecil. Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja menjadi hal nomor satu dalam operasi penambangan. Community service activities were held in June 2021 at Kolorai Village Hall of South Morotai District of Morotai Island Regency. The implementation of devotional activities through 3 stages includes preparation, socialization, and trainingâ€”community service activities in the form of training in processing diversification of tuna products. The training begins with socialization aimed at transferring knowledge to participants about principles, procedures, materials, equipment, and factors that affect the processing of fishery products. The core activities of this equipment are carried out in the form of direct training in the form of practice of making nugget products, dragon legs, and empek-empek. Together with the team, the speaker introduces and explains the ingredients used in the manufacture of the product. Then start making the product in order from processed fish into nuggets, dragon legs, and chips.
