A sample of ten firms was purposively selected from the study’s population of twenty four consumer goods firms listed on the Nigerian Stock exchange. The study employed secondary source of data obtained from the financial statements of the selected firms and the data collected was analyzed using random effects model. Findings from the study showed that the coefficient of share capital is negative (−1.86262) and insignificant (p=0.7961>0.05) and the beta value of short-term debt is positive (5.08662) and insignificant (P=0.1596 >0.05). The coefficient of long-term debt is also positive (6.78568) and statistically significant (p=0.0298<0.05) and the beta value of retained earnings is positive (3.55649) and insignificant (p=0.2617>0.05) for the same firms in Nigeria. The study concluded that share capital has a negative and significant effect on the financial performance, while retained earnings, short-term debt and long-term debt have positive effects on the firms’ financial performance. The study recommended that the consumer goods firms in Nigeria should avoid financing their operations with share capital without taking remedial actions on it persistence negative effect on their performance and Nigerian governments should be formulating new industrial policies that will rebrand the local enterprises including consumer goods firms instead of insisting on their annual corporate tax increase.","PeriodicalId":408979,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Marketing & Supply Chain Management","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121029230","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Diminishing the energy interest and subsequently nursery gas outflows by using lightweight steel trailers has been a neglected methodology. In this respect, this study researches the chance of additional lessening the heaviness of an unfilled holder without compromising the primary respectability, strength, and capability of a customary steel compartment. This examination sees that as up to a 80% decrease in weight is conceivable by creating steel trailers with composite materials. This examination presents the new plan of a 40-foot holder made of carbon fiber overlays. The tare weight of a conventional 40-foot transporting compartment is around 3750 Kg. In actuality, in this examination, the heaviness of a composite plan of a similar compartment is determined to be around 822 Kg. Extra tests with different burdens, for example, lifting the compartment and stacking loads onto the composite compartment, are performed to investigate the strength and clasping issues of the plan introduced in this review. The investigations uncover that the composite steel trailer is an exceptionally encouraging possibility for lessening ozone harming substance outflows, giving fuel reserve funds and consequently lessening the functional expenses of transportation.","PeriodicalId":408979,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Marketing & Supply Chain Management","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128000990","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Study participants reported higher levels of optimism, compared to pessimism. More optimistic people mostly used problem-oriented coping styles, the most common one being active coping and planning, while more pessimistic people used emotion-oriented ones, the most common one being seeking social-emotional support and emotional discharge. These associations did not show significant differences depending on variables like civil status, living conditions, gender, dependent children, and area of living, indicating either the degree of compliance with the measures imposed by the authorities or the confusion induced by the unique characteristics of the Covid situation. Intriguingly, despite initial assumptions attributing superior adaptive characteristics to men and young people, those who showed a better understanding of the situation were participants around the age of 45, without clear differences between genders, while demographic variables had little or no influence on behaviors during the Covid isolation period. Most of the participants seemed to be in continuous search, being unable to find more adequate personal management strategies in this entire period.","PeriodicalId":408979,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Marketing & Supply Chain Management","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125768470","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
