Nonetheless, organizations have witnessed customer attrition due to inadequate loyalty. This trend is particularly prevalent among online customer bases. The root cause of this issue lies in the absence of an effective tool for measuring online customer satisfaction that surpasses the capabilities of existing methods. To address this concern, a quantitative study explored the dimensions of online customer satisfaction measurement and established a model applicable across industries for gauging and predicting online customer satisfaction. This was accomplished by conducting an online survey via SurveyMonkey with 384 respondents, employing supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques in conjunction with the topic modeling algorithm, Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA). The findings of this study revealed a significant relationship between predictor variables such as navigation, playfulness, information quality, trust, personalization, and responsiveness and the target variable, online customer satisfaction, employing multiple linear modeling (LSM). Furthermore, it was observed that this phenomenon transcends age groups, impacting both younger and older customers alike. However, it is essential to acknowledge certain limitations, including the risk of overfitting, challenges in establishing external validity, a narrow focus on the retail sector (B2C), and a restricted scope limited to the United States market.","PeriodicalId":408979,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Marketing & Supply Chain Management","volume":"13 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140410033","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

SMEs are common in the nation and have significantly increased Pakistan’s GDP. To achieve and guarantee these SMEs’ effective performance, they must improve the quality of their services. For this reason, the current study has looked into the significance of Supply Chain Integration (SCI). The present research has adopted a “quantitative research design” to conduct the study. Concerning the research framework, the independent variable is supplying chain logistic issues that impact SME service quality through the mediation of supply chain integration. There are two methods adopted for the data analysis. Firstly, the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) is employed for the demographic outcomes. Secondly, regression, reliability and validity analysis are carried through the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results of the study indicated the six linkages. Firstly, the association of High Cost of Information Technology (HCI) positively impacts Coordination and collaboration. Secondly, Quality Logistic Personnel (QLP) is positively and significantly associated with Commitment and competence. Thirdly, HCI indicated a positive link with Coordination and collaboration. Fourthly, QLP expresses a positive and significant relationship with Coordination and collaboration. Fifthly, QLP demonstrated a positive and significant association with Creativeness and customisation. Finally, QLP showed insignificant negative results with Coordination and collaboration. The present study holds greater significance in this regard. The study provides valuable insights to the employees or workforce of SME businesses to supervise or rationally monitor their supply chain performance. The service quality of SMEs has been measured through commitment and competence, creativity and customization, and coordination & collaboration of sales logistic personnel.","PeriodicalId":408979,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Marketing & Supply Chain Management","volume":"20 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139131618","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Their efforts, however, vary across municipalities throughout Texas. The paper provides a broad analysis of pricing practices in 423 municipalities across Texas from 2014 to 2020 and their impact on residential water consumption. We also assess how other socio-demographic and climatic conditions may influence water use and water rates decisions across municipalities. Besides investigating the potential determinants of water demand, the paper also looks at several supply-side variables and the income gap to address the endogeneity of water block prices. Our results shed light on how current water pricing practices in Texas incorporate aspects of the Integrated Water Management Practices that have been shaping water management for decades.","PeriodicalId":408979,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Marketing & Supply Chain Management","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115724699","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This has led to massive influx of investors into the country’s Global System for Mobile (GSM)communications market since 2001. This paper investigates the value chain effect of these developments on the telecommunications sector of the Nigerian economy. There is focus on the industry itself, subsidiary industries as well as the downstream value chain creation arising from the influx of emerging markets multinational enterprises (EMNEs) into the sector. Using basic statistical techniques, the study finds that the entrance of the multinational investors into the industry following the market liberalization policy of 1999 has not only created a vibrant telecommunications market but also enhanced the value chain on the Nigerian economy at large. The findings of this study provide further insight into the value chain creation debate as it concerns the telecommunications industry not just in Nigeria but in countries of similar economic stature and structure. Additionally, the findings are important to the regulators and policy makers in developed and developing economies alike, for evidence-based policies.","PeriodicalId":408979,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Marketing & Supply Chain Management","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123750673","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research results find out that China is the net importer of virtual land in the cotton trade and the trade is highly geographically concentrated. Domestic supply meeting demand tends to be the cotton consumption trend, and the net import of cotton virtual land is affected by both external and internal factors. Finally, the researchers suggest that China should promote the diversity of cotton import in the context of securing cotton import, raise global cotton trade efficiency through establishing standardized cotton tariffs, accelerate multilateral free trade, build premium global cotton value chain, establish friendly international relations, actively implement the cotton “go global” strategy and stimulate domestic market liberalization.","PeriodicalId":408979,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Marketing & Supply Chain Management","volume":"102 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121144377","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
