Timun apel salah satu buah lokal yang memiliki potensi dan prospek yang baik untuk dikembangkan, namun informasi ilmiah mengenai timun apel masih sangat terbatas, khususnya mengenai pedoman dan teknik budidaya yang baku. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk medapatkan jarak tanam yang optimal bagi pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman timun apel sehingga dapat menjadi rekomendasi dalam teknik budidaya timun apel. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Tanjung Bungin Kecamatan Pakis Jaya Kabupaten Karawang selama 3 bulan mulai bulan Agustus sampai dengan Oktober 2018. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen dengan Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 perlakuan kerapatan tanam dengan jarak tanam yaitu: A = Populasi 14 tanaman per petak (jarak tanam 50 cm x 50 cm), B = Populasi 12 tanaman per petak (jarak tanam 50 cm x 60 cm), C = Populasi 10 tanaman per petak (jarak tanam 50 cm x 70 cm), D = Populasi 8 tanaman per petak (jarak tanam 50 cm x 80 cm). Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 6 kali dan terdapat 24 unit percobaan. Hasil peneitian menunjukkan bahwa Kerapatan tanam yang renggang pada budidaya tanaman timun apel dengan metode penanaman konvensional memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman timun apel yang optimal. Hal ini menyebabkan petani lahan kering umumnya hanya melakukan satu kali tanam dalam satu tahun. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasinya adalah dengan menerapkan teknologi pemanenan air hujan atau air limpasan. Untuk meningkatkan produktivitas air hujan yang dipanen dibutuhkan suatu usaha dalam menghemat penggunaan air. Pengaturan jadwal irigasi berdasarkan analisis neraca air lahan harian diharapkan dapat meningkatkan nilai produktivitas air dilahan kering. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji penjadwalan irigasi menggunakan neraca air lahan harian pada budidaya ubi jalar (Ipomea batatas L) varietas rancing. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kebun penelitian Ciparanje, Kampus Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor pada bulan Juli sampai November 2018. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan batas deplesi 20% dengan total pemberian irigasi sebesar 9.285,6 liter sedangkan deplesi 30% adalah sebesar 8.687 liter. Substitusi kebutuhan air tanaman dengan deplesi 20% dapat memenuhi 129 m2 luasan areal budidaya, sedangkan deplesi 30% dapat memenuhi 138 m2 luasan areal budidaya selama satu musim tanam. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan air tanaman selama satu musim tanam dapat terpenuhi dari jumlah volume air yang terdapat dalam kolam pemanenan air limpasan. Jika pada kolam tanam/petakan sawah tersebut dilakukan irigasi dengan air tawar ( fresh water ) maka kandungan garam, terutama NaCl, dalam tanah akan mudah larut dan terperkolasi meninggalkan daerah perakaran. Penelitian dengan judul “ Pengaruh Jumlah Pemberian Air Terhadap Penurunan Daya Hantar Listrik Tanah Di-berbagai Kedalaman Pada Tanah Timbul Di Kabupaten Karawang” bertujuan untuk mendapatkan areal/lahan pertanian baru terutama pencetakan sawah baru disepanjang garis pantai. Penelitian dilakukan antara bulan Januari sampai April 2017 di Rumah Kaca dan Laboratorium Tanah, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. Metode penelitian adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain percobaan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), dengan kombinasi perlakuan kelompok Nilai Daya Hantar Listrik pada kedalaman dari permukaan tanah timbul 10 cm, 30 cm dan 50 cm dan perlakuan pemberian air irigasi sebanyak 0,8; 0,9 dan 1,0 liter/detik/ha dan tiap kombinasi perlakuan dilakukan 4 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai Daya Hantar Listrik yang di ukur dengan Electric Conductivity Meter adalah pemberian air 1,0 liter/detik/ha dan pada titik pengamatan kedalaman 10 cm dari permukaan tanah merupakan perlakuan yang mengalami penurunan terbesar yaitu dari 18 mmhos menjadi 7 mmhos. Selain itu, pada perlakuan pemberian jumlah air sebanyak 1,0 liter/detik/ha menunjukkan penurunan DHL tanah timbul pada titik pengamatan kedalaman 30 cm, yaitu dari 18 mmhos menjadi 12 mmhos, dan pada kedalaman 50 cm, yaitu 18,5 mmhos menjadi 13 mmhos. The plastic waste was then managed by the Tasikmalaya Waste Bank. But the management has been only limited to sorting and finally sold at low prices to the city. To increase the sale value, the plastic waste needs to be chopped in advance so that the dealer will buy it at a high price, of course this will add income to BST. Agricultural Laboratory Equipment and Machinery FTIP Unpad had been developed a plastic waste counting machine to be applied to BST Tasikmalaya in hopes of producing the desired plastic count. However, this machine does not yet have specification data so further research is needed on technical analysis. The purpose of this research was to analyze the technique of plastic counting machines which include; driving power requirements, shaft diameter, number of transmission coir, frame analysis, and weld strength. The research method used was descriptive analysis method, which is measuring and calculating the structural components of the machine. The results of the calculation of the technical analysis showed that the driving force was 5.12 HP, shaft diameter of 28.1 mm, the number of belts used were 2 belts, frame deflection of 0.005 mm, welding strength to support the load of 504.234 N. This research aims to determine the effect of fertilizer dose combination of N, P, K, and Biofertilizer to uptake N, P and K on sweet corns (Zea mays Saccharata Sturt) in Fluventic Eutrudepts from Jatinangor. Dose combination was expected can reduce fertilizer dose N, P, K without decreasing productivity and crop yields. This research was performed from January until April 2018 at Experimental Field Faculty of Agriculture, Padjajaran University, Jatinangor, Sumedang, West Java at 725 m asl. Experimental design used in this research is Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 10 treatments and 3 replications which consist of treatments 0 N, P, K + 0 biofertilizer; 1 N, P, K + 0 biofertilizer; 0 N, P, K + 1 biofertilizer; 1 / 4 N, P, K + 1 biofertilizer; 1 / 2 N, P, K + 1 biofertilizer; 3 / 4 N, P, K + 1 biofertilizer; 1 N, P, K + 1 biofertilizer; 3 / 4 N, P, K + 1 / 4 biofertilizer; 3 / 4 N, P, K + 1 / 2 PHC; 3 / 4 N, P, K + 3 / 4 biofertilizer. Recommended dosage was 300 kg of urea, 150 kg of SP 36, and 50 kg KCl ha -1 and 5 L ha- 1 biofertilizer. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2017 sampai dengan Januari 2018, dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 10 pelakuan dan 3 kali ulangan dengan taraf : A = Potato Dextrose Agarose (PDA) + umur panen hari ke 1, B = PDA+ umur panen hari ke 3, C = PDA + umur panen hari ke 5, D = PDA + umur panen hari ke 7, E = PDA + umur panen hari ke 10, F = air cucian beras merah + umur panen hari ke 1, G = air cucian beras merah + umur panen hari ke 3, H = air cucian beras merah + umur panen hari ke 5, I = air cucian beras merah + umur panen hari ke 7, J = air cucian beras merah + umur panen hari ke 10. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh nyata laju pertumbuhan miselia jamur merang pada jenis media biakan murni dan umur panen yang berbeda. Jenis media Potato Dextrose Agarose (PDA) panen umur hari ke 1 berpengaruh nyata pada diameter miselia jamur merang dan jenis media air cucian beras merah umur panen hari ke 7 memberikan pengaruh nyata pada laju pertumbuhan miselia arah koloni radial. Akan tetapi, penggunaannya terus-menerus dapat menyebabkan kualitas tanah menurun. Penggunaan amelioran atau bahan pembenah tanah diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas tanah. Percobaan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komposisi dan dosis amelioran terbaik terhadap sifat tanah dan hasil tanaman cabai pada Inceptisols dan dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Padjadjaran. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial yang terdiri atas dua faktor yang diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Faktor pertama yaitu komposisi amelioran yang terdiri atas empat taraf (a1 = 80% Pupuk Kandang Sapi + 20% Biochar Tempurung Kelapa ; a2 = 95% Komposisi a1 + 5% Dolomit dan Guano ; a3 = 90% Komposisi a1 + 10% Dolomit dan Guano ; a4 = 85% Komposisi a1 + 15% Dolomit dan Guano), dan faktor kedua yaitu dosis amelioran yang terdiri atas empat taraf (t0 = 0 ton/ha ; t1 = 2 ton/ha ; t2 = 4 ton/ha ; t3= 6 ton/ha). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat interaksi antara komposisi dan dosis amelioran terhadap sifat tanah dan hasil tanaman cabai pada Inceptisols. Tanaman ini memiliki syarat tumbuh yang cocok untuk dibudidayakan di wilayah pesisir pantai yang selama ini kurang diminati petani sebagai tempat budidaya tanaman pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan jenis mulsa yang memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik pada tanaman timun apel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktor tunggal. Perlakuan tersebut terdiri atas kontrol tanpa mulsa (M1), mulsa plastik hitam perak (M2), mulsa alami berupa jerami padi (M3), dan mulsa alami berupa sekam padi (M4) dengan masing-masing perlakuan akan diulang sebanyak enam kali sehingga akan terdapat 24 unit percobaan. Data h asil pengamatan diolah dan dianalisis dengan sidik ragam pada taraf kesalahan 5% dan apabila pengaruh perlakuan nyata, maka dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). H asil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan perbedaan jenis mulsa memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap seluruh peubah yang diamati. Perlakuan Mulsa Plastik Hitam Perak (M2) merupakan perlakuan terbaik karena memberikan hasil panjang tanaman dan luas daun tertinggi, jumlah daun dan cabang terbanyak, diameter buah dan tebal daging terbesar, serta bobot buah tertinggi dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lain. This study aimed to investigate the effect of application biofertilizer consortium and organic ameliorant on chemical and biological character of soil and yield of rice in Inceptisols. The experiment was conducted in experimental field of Agriculture Faculty Universitas Padjadjaran from June until October 2017. Experimental design used a randomized block design of single faktor with twelve treatments and three replications. The treatments consist of control, solid biofertilizer, liquid biofertilizer, combination solid biofertilizer with organic amelioran (straw compost, charcoal husk and cow manure), liquid biofertilizer with organic amelioran, and organic amelioran independen. The result showed that biofertilizer consortium and organic ameliorant has significant effect on N soil and growth of rice. Solid biofertilizer and straw compost was the best treatment increase N soil.In general, biofertilizer consortium and organic ameliorant gave a significant influence for soil chemical and growth of rice.
