Furthermore, students are the driving force that can influence the state of the environment in the future, so it is extremely important today to organize the educational process to familiarize children and youth with environmental issues. The basis for the implementation of an effective environmental education strategy is the maximum unification of efforts for an effective result based on the definition of reference positions in formal and non-formal environmental education, the formation of the child's ability to purposefully observe, study and correctly evaluate objects and phenomena in the process of observation from the point of view of environmental thinking. This article aims to identify the key features of forming environmental awareness in students through social media. Methodology. During this study, analytical and bibliographic methods were used to study the scientific literature on the development of environmental awareness, as well as synthesis, analysis of information, system-structural, comparative, logical, and linguistic methods, abstraction, idealization, induction, a deduction for studying and processing data, and a questionnaire survey conducted by the authors of the study online to practically clarify the most critical issues related to the formation of environmental awareness in students using social media. Results. The study identified the leading, most important theoretical aspects of the issue of environmental awareness, as well as the point of view of scientists and university professors on the critical aspects of this issue.","PeriodicalId":408174,"journal":{"name":"Conhecimento & Diversidade","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127982846","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Achieving a new, modern quality of education, orientation towards the development of students' foreign language socio-cultural competence, and their cognitive and creative abilities is one of the main tasks of modern education. The socio-cultural component in the content of foreign language teaching allows students to become familiar with the cultural heritage of the country whose language is being studied to compare it with the cultural values of their own country, which contributes to the formation of students' general culture. In the process of analyzing the methods mentioned above, their influence on the process of organizing and the effectiveness of learning, as well as in the development of a course in tourism, the authors concluded that such forms of work as project work, practical classes in the form of excursions, and the wide application of role-playing games could be called active forms of work in the classroom. They contribute to the most excellent involvement of students in the learning process and, therefore, to its assimilation. Thanks to this approach, students learn the so-called spoken anticipation, i.e., memorize and work out grammatically correct phrases to support conversation (ordering food in a restaurant, shopping in a store, passing through customs, etc.) without delving into grammar. The course also includes practical lessons with native speakers, as they contribute to the formation of correct stress and intonation, teach students to perceive the language by ear, and will be highly relevant for overcoming the language barrier. The authors concluded that using these methods and techniques in English classes contributes to the expansion and deepening of knowledge of the English language at a sufficient level to navigate in the field of tourism and hospitality. The developed methodologies will be effective for teaching project work skills, developing proper pronunciation, assisting students to overcome language barriers, and learning how to confidently and comfortably engage in conversation with foreign guests on various topics (such as the traditions and culture of the country, city landmarks, etc.).","PeriodicalId":408174,"journal":{"name":"Conhecimento & Diversidade","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131768707","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim is to consider how to write educational games, utilizing a literature review methodology. The instructional approaches, traditional and alternative, form a polarized narrative, leading to reflection on the best way to adapt educational games to the curriculum. The traditional approach teaches the elaboration of instructional objectives before the design of educational games. The alternative approach proposes a storytelling-based model for selecting instructional content. Stories are created by emotional conflicts and interests, using these conflicts to create a narrative of antagonists favors engagement and meaningful learning. Appropriate technical tools employed in the creation of educational games should always be studied, aiming at the efficiency of game design and the effectiveness of learning. The main conclusion of this work is that the traditional and alternative approaches are not antagonistic, and both can be integrated in the writing of educational digital games.\u0000 ","PeriodicalId":408174,"journal":{"name":"Conhecimento & Diversidade","volume":"23 4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115948696","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A new language of art is formed and developed in parallel with the development of the latest technologies. Changing the assessment and reality perception process requires adaptation of design subjects to the new world, in which information flows, opportunities, and scientific and technical innovations are rapidly and steadily growing and transforming. The changing perspective on art objects – from the past to the future – encourages art consumers to acquire a new sense of art going beyond the boundaries of everyday life and makes us relate to the world in a new way, accordingly transforming our everyday life, our desires and feelings. The rapid development and spread of the latest technologies, the entry to a qualitatively new level of visualization leads to the emergence and integration of new, little-researched processes in the field of design, for instance, art design. The purpose of the academic paper is to study the regularities of art design formation as a new trend in developing the modern design sphere, as well as to clarify some practical features of this process. Analytical-bibliographical, systemic-structural, comparative, logical-linguistic methods, abstraction, idealization, analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction were used in the course of the research to study the scientific literature on the art design development, as well as a questionnaire to reveal certain aspects of practical issues in this sphere. Based on the research results, the theoretical and practical aspects of developing art design as a new direction in the field of modern design were studied.","PeriodicalId":408174,"journal":{"name":"Conhecimento & Diversidade","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131305318","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The piece of work sheds light on the prevailing morality, which believes that chastity, repentance and submission should be the only virtues of women. Mary Wollstonecraft’s posthumous work is equipped with such powerful political statements. Maria’s character is nothing but a written defence against her oppressive and abusive husband’s misconducts against her. Wollstonecraft pens this feminist manifesto to denounce the numerous wrongs that are done to women. Her proclamation stands tall, demanding women’s right to be free of male oppression. In this research work, we would like to draw not only on the measurements of Maria: or, The Wrongs of Woman but also take a different path, focusing on a theme that is central to the novel and its feminist politics which has received little attention so far: trauma. The novel is a structuring of intertwined life events of suffering and ruptured relationships. We would here delve deep into the novel; the protagonist’s life events and the writer’s concerns through Trauma Theory.","PeriodicalId":408174,"journal":{"name":"Conhecimento & Diversidade","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125997598","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Both theoretical and practical knowledge are products of knowledge and are built step by step in the process of social interaction. This knowledge is a cultural heritage of societies and is under constant construction and reconstruction. Science and technology are historical products and social knowledge organized and systematized in continuous creativity. The concepts of science, technology, and society and education as a social institution are closely related, as they both recognize the interconnectedness of technology, society, and education. The STS framework is an interdisciplinary approach that emphasizes the interdependence of scientific knowledge, technological development, and societal values and norms. According to this framework, science and technology are not neutral or objective entities, but are shaped by and shape social, cultural, economic, and political factors.
