In view of these disadvantages, recently, Chen proposed a multiple-point optimization algorithm for BSS named DPBCC, which overcome these disadvantages at a certain extent. But DPBCC uses the superior bacterial random perturbation strategy to solve the problem of local convergence, which cannot ensure that after random perturbation it will be an ergodic search of the domain. So the ability of global convergence still has to improve. This paper proposes a modified bacterial colony chemotaxis algorithm (CBCC) for BSS, combined the strategy of chaos search with the strategy of neighborhood random search, reaching to an ergodic search of the entire domain, solving the local convergence better, improving the convergence speed and separate precision further. Take the BSS algorithm based on kurtosis under the instantaneous linear model for example to do computer simulation. The results validate the superiority of CBCC by comparing with the existing ones.","PeriodicalId":408041,"journal":{"name":"Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"153 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124046139","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First a norminal backstepping controller with prescribed performance is presented, which guarantees that the output tracking error is bounded by a predefined function. Secondly, in the presence of unknown faults, an active fault tolerant controller is designed on the basis of fault function approximated by neural network. Both control laws are derived based on Lyapunov stability theory. In each case, the state trajectories of the closed loop system are bounded and the prescribed transient performance for the output tracking error can be achieved. Finally, simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.","PeriodicalId":408041,"journal":{"name":"Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"101 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131962439","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To solve this problem, we use a method to select and evaluate those communication techniques in the paper. We build a model based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and basic theory of the triangular fuzzy number (TFN). With the evaluation system, we establish triangular fuzzy judgment matrix and use the traditional AHP method to calculate the weight of the evaluation factors. Finally, we prove that Power Line Carrier is the best one of those communication techniques. The model can effectively integrate group opinions to get the final selection. The case of the power system can be used to prove that the model is suitable for promotion.","PeriodicalId":408041,"journal":{"name":"Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"100 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124097779","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By introducing the saturation degree function and applying the convex hull theory to handle the saturated terms, we firstly put forward a stabilization controller for the time-varying delayed system in the absence of input saturation via LMI formulation according to Lyapunov-Krasovskii theorem. Then the anti-windup gain matrix is derived to compensate for the difference between the constrained and unconstrained systems in the presence of input saturation. Further, the enlargement to the basin of attraction under input saturation is formulated, and the corresponding optimization problem with LMI constraints is given. Finally, numerical examples are included to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design technique.","PeriodicalId":408041,"journal":{"name":"Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122148923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed effective method could extract each original source via a layer-by-layer separation strategy in time domain. In each layer, certain active sources are extracted and mask vectors are introduced to boost the proposed binary blind source separation algorithm. The proposed method could also be applied to the separation of binary source images. Experimental results substantiate that the proposed algorithm provides effective separation results even with only one available mixture of several original binary sources.","PeriodicalId":408041,"journal":{"name":"Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125728675","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Beyond this method, the shape context descriptor is only extracted from robust contour curvature extremal value point, which is effective to bate the influence of contour noise and local slightly deformation, the neighbor radius parameter is also automatically selected. Zhang-gradient (ZG) method is a type of powerful method for real-time control problems solving. In this paper, the nonlinear system of two-input Brockett integrator is investigated. By exploiting the ZG method, three types of ZG controller groups (specifically, two types of z1g0-z1g0 controller groups and one type of z1g0-z1g1 controller group) are designed for two-output tracking of Brockett integrator. Computer simulations are conducted to substantiate the feasibility and effectiveness of the two-input Brockett integrator equipped with the designed ZG controller groups for outputs tracking. The simulation results verify that the ZG controller in form of u̇(t) can handle the division-by-zero problem successfully.
