Normal delivery care is clean and safe care during labor until the baby is born, as an effort to prevent complications, especially post-natal bleeding, hypothermia and newborn asphyxia. During the first active phase of labor, there is a descent of the lowest part of the fetus into the pelvic cavity which causes pain due to contractions, where pain management is needed. Non-pharmacological methods of reducing pain in women in labor can be done, one of which is by giving warm compresses. This study aimed to determine the effect of giving warm compresses on back pain in women giving birth during the first active phase. This research design used a Quasy Experiment with a Non-Equivalent Control Group design. The research subjects were 30 mothers giving birth during one active phase, taken by accidental sampling. The instrument used was a pain scale observation sheet which was analyzed using the paired t-test. The results study showed there was an effect of warm compresses on back pain in women giving birth during the first active phase with a p-value=0,000 (p-value?0,05). Based on the research results above, can be concluded that gived a warm compress using a belt can reduce back pain in mothers during labor during the active phase of labor.","PeriodicalId":408003,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Ilmiah Kesehatan (JIKA)","volume":"106 18","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139134371","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aimed to explore the correlation between husband's support and pregnant women's disapproval of Covid-19 vaccination. This research used analytical methods with a cross sectional design. Data was collected between October 14 and November 14 2022 in the Piyeung Community Health Center working area. All pregnant women in the area became the research population, and 85 people were taken as samples using the total sampling method. The research instrument consists of primary data collected through questionnaires and secondary data obtained from the Covid-19 Vaccination Achievement Report for Pregnant Women at the Aceh Besar Health Service and Piyeung Community Health Center. Data analysis involves univariate analysis techniques to distribute variable frequencies, as well as bivariate analysis using the chi-square test to assess the relationship between independent and dependent variables. The results of the univariate analysis showed that the majority of subjects (73 people or 85.9%) were not willing to be vaccinated. The research results showed that there was a significant correlation between husband's support (p-value=0,000) and pregnant women's unwillingness to be vaccinated against Covid-19. Therefore, it is hoped that health workers will be more proactive in promoting Covid-19 vaccination to pregnant women and provide the necessary information to increase awareness and acceptance of this vaccination.","PeriodicalId":408003,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Ilmiah Kesehatan (JIKA)","volume":"52 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139347354","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
