In other words, they have less learning ability compared to others. This situation caused them difficulty in understanding abstract mathematical material. In addition, it appears that the material presented by the teacher is considered to be less interesting and boring by them. Though the model of the presentation of material that is fun, interesting, and easy to understand is one of the factors that influence their learning success. They are bored with the model of presenting the material using the media that the teacher uses repeatedly. Therefore, teachers' creativity and innovation are needed in utilizing the media and being able to package it into concepts that are interesting and fun for their students. So that the learning needs can be met optimally. Thus, this service aims to improve teacher skills in utilizing instructional media in the form of wooden scales and pop-up. The method used is case studi, with direct involvement with the Bani Umar Waqf Institute for approximately 6 months. From the initial review of the author at The Bani Umar Waqf Institute, found two crucial problems that exist within the institution, namely regarding the lack of human resources and marketing channels. Wordless book sering dianggap sebagai buku yang hanya digunakan oleh anak-anak yang belum bisa membaca. sedngkan jika diteliti lebih jauh, buku tersebut dapat membantu murid yang menginjak usia remaja dalam kemampuan menulisnya. Pengabdian ini adalah suatu kegiatan sosialisasi menulis kreatif kepada murid kelas XI MTs GUPPI Cileuksa. Sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk melatih kemampuan murid dalam menulis kreatif dengan menggunakan wordless book (buku bergambar tanpa teks). Partisipan dalam kegiatan ini adalah kelas IX A & B MTs GUPPI Cileuksa. Pendidikan dilakukan demi berkembangnya potensi peserta didik agar menjadi manusia yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, berakhlak mulia, sehat, berilmu, cakap, kreatif, mandiri, dan menjadi warga negara yang demokratis serta bertanggung jawab. Pengabdian ini merupakan pengandian dalam bentuk penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, data-data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan sosialisasi . Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, untuk mendeskripsikan Internalisasi Nilai-Nilai Akhlaqul Karimah dalam Kehidupan Sehari-hari Siswa SD Negeri 1 Cibugel Desa Jayamekar Kecamatan Cibugel Kabupaten Sumedang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa akan pentingnya akhlakuk karimah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari baik akhlak kepada Allah, orang tua, guru, teman sebaya maupun akhlak-akhlak yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Nugraha","doi":"10.15575/jak.v2i2.5810","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15575/jak.v2i2.5810","url":null,"abstract":"Comprehensive studies on community empowerment using smart phone in Indonesia, especially in villages in West Java, are still limited.  This research is to investigate how the students joining KKN Sisdamas implemented the program of community empowerpent through the use of smarphone for village development in Desa Cikoneng, Kecamatan Ganeas, Sumedang District, West Java.  This research adopts the cycles of KKN Sisdaman proposed by Sururie, et al. The data were collected through observation to 30 people using smartphone as ther life screening. The result shows that under the KKN Sisdamas Group 139 are successful in socializing, training, and guiding the community to use their smartphone for trading in marketplaces.  There are six groups of trading in different marketplaces that sell different products. Some of which sell T-Shirt souvenirs, kunci, keranjang tahu, and kerecek.  The community can operate—sell their own products after having their own accounts in marketplaces. Cibiru District has large area with slope so that this region has high risk of erosion. Soil and water conservation activity through tree planting methode  involving comunity services is startegic effort to overcome potential erosion hazzard and increase soil infiltration. The activity of Community services was held from July-August 2018 in Palasari sub-district which has slope 8-15%. This community services methode used in the form of tree planting workshop and supervision during the manintenance periode. This tree planting program was welcomed enthusiastically by the community. There are several objectives to be achieved in this activity, among others: it is expected to be able to add insight into the public about mass media and social media, improve the knowledge and capabilities of media literacy in rural communities. Media literacy training in Cibeureum Village, Kertasari District, Bandung Regency uses training, lecture, discussion, question and answer and case simulation methods.
