Objective: To assess the level of knowledge regarding ABG analysis and interpretation of ABG results among staff nurses. Materials and Methods: Descriptive cross sectional design and convenient sampling technique was followed. This research is conducted among 30 samples. Data was collected using structured questionnaire. Data analysis was done using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: Shows that with regard to ABG analysis and interpretation results among 30 staff nurses, 5(16.7%) had ‘A’ grade, 6(20 %) had B+ grade, 13 (43.3%) had B grade, 4(13.3%) had C grade and 2(6.7%) had D grade knowledge and mean value was 19.0 and standard deviation was 3.5 in staff nurses. In recent years, digital gadget usage has steadily risen across all age groups, towards the point that noteworthy quality use for both social and professional purposes is now the norm. Digital eye strain (DES), also known as computer vision syndrome, is a collection of ocular and visual problems that affects 50 percent or more of computer users, according to estimates. Overuse injuries of the shoulder, arm, wrist, or hand, as well as eyestrain, can result from improper computer use. With the right furnishings, proper posture, and good behaviours like taking rest breaks and limiting time spent playing computer games, you can reduce or eliminate these dangers. Objectives: To assess the prevalence of visual disturbance and to find out the association between the prevalence of visual disturbances among IT professionals with their selected demographic variables. Research Methodology: A quantitative approach with non-experimental descriptive research design was adopted for the present study A 100 IT professionals were recruited as study participants by using Convenient Sampling Technique. A self-structured questionnaire was administered to collect the data regarding the demographic information and prevalence of visual disturbances. Results: The present study identified that, utmost equal number of IT professionals (54%) are unaffected, equal number of IT professionals (46%) are affected, so they are almost equally aware of visual disturbance and their preventive measures. The shift of work and age had shown statistically significant association with prevalence of visual disturbance among IT professionals at the level of p<0.05. One of the most important criteria for evaluating the quality of hospitals is patient satisfaction. Nurse-initiated clinical rounds give nurses the chance to talk to patients, address their concerns, and improve uncomfortable circumstances. Particularly, regular nurse rounds deliver the opening to identify the patient needs using practical nursing practices, considerably enhancing patient satisfaction. Hence the study aimed to determine the impact of Nurse-Initiated Rounds on Patient Satisfaction at New Najran General Hospital in Saudi Arabia. Methods: A Clinical trial was carried out by using a non-equivalent control group at New Najran General hospital in Najran, Saudi Arabia. A convenience sample of 68 clients with hospitalization participated in this study (34 in the control and 34 intervention group). The study group participants received the nurse-initiated hourly rounds with patients by focusing on their pain, potty, pulse, position, pallor, paralysis positive environment, and other nursing tasks. The control group received normal routine care. In both groups, measurements of patient satisfaction with nursing care were made on the first and fifth days of hospitalization. The sample characteristics were described using frequency and percentage distribution. A chi-square test was used to compare the socio – demographic and other characteristics of patients in both groups. Furthermore, an independent t-test was performed to determine whether there is a statistical difference between the mean satisfaction scores of the two groups on the first and fifth days of hospitalization. The statistical tests were performed at the level of significance p< 0.05. Results : The outcome showed that there were differences in nursing care satisfaction scores on the first and fifth days of admission between the control and experimental groups. The analysis showed that there was no significant difference in the mean satisfaction levels of the two groups on the first day of hospitalization (p=0.288). However, on the fifth day, the mean levels of pleasure in the two groups significantly diverged (p .0001). On the other hand, comparing the first and fifth days' mean patient satisfaction levels revealed a substantial increase in the intervention group and a significant decline in the control group (p .05). Conclusion: The study’s findings, implementing nurse -initiated hourly nursing rounds has a significant impact on both the control and intervention groups, with patient satisfaction ratings increasing as length of stay increased. Patients in the intervention group had higher patient satisfaction scores than those in the control group. Future awareness campaigns focused at bettering patient outcomes may use the study's findings as a springboard.","PeriodicalId":407046,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advance Research in Nursing","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131542044","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
