This topic involves counseling and psychology, focusing on changing the client's behavior and outlook. This study aims to test the hypothesis that the integration of Client-Centered Counseling with Self-Muhasabah will effectively reduce the level of overthinking among Santri. Using a quantitative method with a single-subject design of A1-B-A2, this study observed behavior before and after the counseling session. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires to measure the level of psychological distress. The results showed significant behavioral changes after the counseling sessions. Before counseling, the client showed overthinking behavior that led to self-doubt, excessive worry, anxiety, and difficulty adapting. After counseling, clients showed increased confidence in social situations, were calmer in facing challenges, and were more courageous in interacting with others, especially new people. This research highlights that Client-Centered Counseling with Self-Reflection is effective in overcoming overthinking behavior in students. The integration of Client-Centered Counseling which emphasizes active client involvement and Self-Reflection which focuses on introspection provides a comprehensive and relevant solution. This research contributes by examining the impact of this approach on the emotional, intellectual, physiological, and interpersonal aspects of student, supporting their personal, social, and spiritual development. By enhancing mental and spiritual well-being, this research offers new insights into educational strategies that address the well-being of students.","PeriodicalId":406806,"journal":{"name":"Tafkir: Interdisciplinary Journal of Islamic Education","volume":"7 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141653675","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, this study aimed to identify how sustainable teacher development impacts teachers’ digital literacy competencies. This study used a qualitative approach with interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) as instruments to gather data. The findings showed that preschool teachers’ digital literacy improved, particularly in their ability to create digital content for learning. The strategy to enhance preschool teachers’ digital literacy was conducted through a sustainable professional development scheme that placed the teacher community at its center, serving as a medium for teachers to develop their professional abilities. The program focused on three main schemes to improve teachers’ digital literacy skills: (1) self-development through Wakelet training to assist teachers in managing digital content in collaboration with other teachers, (2) conducting research-based learning to improve the quality of learning, and (3) fostering teacher innovation in developing teaching media that integrates technology into learning practices. The results of this study provide a significant contribution to exploring the schemes for preschool teachers’ professional development in improving digital literacy skills. Future research could capture more creative solutions to technical challenges in sustaining teachers’ professional development programs.","PeriodicalId":406806,"journal":{"name":"Tafkir: Interdisciplinary Journal of Islamic Education","volume":" 19","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141372562","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results showed that lecturers at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin are actively involved in efforts to integrate religious values with technology-based teaching methods, creating an educational environment that is responsive to the demands of the Society 5.0 era. This research provides a scientific contribution by confirming the importance of this integration in shaping a balanced and relevant Islamic education during rapid technological development. The dominance of bayānī and 'irfanī reason was assessed by Muhammad Abid Al-Jabiri as the source of the decline of Arab-Islamic civilization. The study in this paper is included in the qualitative research category through a literature study whose data sources come from books and journals. The data analysis technique follows the pattern developed by Miles and Huberman with a philosophical approach. The results of this research found that the tradition of contemporary pesantren scientific development has begun to follow a system of thinking in the progressive burhānī epistemology. This is characterized by: (1) the transformation of the Islamic boarding school/pesantren education system driven by visionary Kiai and (2) the pattern of development of fiqh and ushul fiqh that is appropriate to the times following the principles contained in the burhānī thinking system. This study revises previous research, which assessed that the tradition of scientific development in pesantren still follows the system of thinking in bayānī and 'irfanī reasoning.","PeriodicalId":406806,"journal":{"name":"Tafkir: Interdisciplinary Journal of Islamic Education","volume":"114 37","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140678481","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In its current context, especially with the rapid development of information and communication technology, the learning of Islamic religious education can be made more effective and efficient for educators, students, and educational institutions. One way to achieve this is by utilizing the Classpoint learning application software, integrated with Microsoft PowerPoint, which facilitates the delivery of instructional material through engaging presentations. This article aims to describe the utilization of the Classpoint application in Islamic religious education learning with a multidisciplinary approach. The research employs a literature review study method with data collection techniques involving literature review and the Systematic Literature Review method. Tools such as Watase Uake, EBSCO, Google Scholar, and the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) technique are used in the study. The research findings demonstrate that in Islamic religious education learning with a multidisciplinary approach, three perspectives – historical, anthropological, and sociological disciplines–can be effectively and efficiently conveyed through the Classpoint application.","PeriodicalId":406806,"journal":{"name":"Tafkir: Interdisciplinary Journal of Islamic Education","volume":"113 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140695252","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
