It delves into their socio-cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds, as well as their pursuit of gender equality, leadership, and self-worth while working alongside men on equal terms. The study focuses on 15 Ex-PLA women in Janaki Rural Municipality, employing a purposive sampling method and an anthropological approach involving interviews and observations. The research unravels the challenges in analyzing female participants' experiences and opinions, considering the sensitivity and confidentiality of the subject matter and the cautious approach to human rights and privacy. The discussion reveals the deeply entrenched patriarchal system in Nepal, which has historically relegated women to a subordinate position and deprived them of power and knowledge creation. Despite legislative measures granting women citizenship and some representation, informal barriers and societal attitudes continue to impede their progress. The study highlights various factors motivating women to join the Maoist movement in Janaki Rural Municipality, including the historical patriarchal nature of Nepal, limited property rights for women, extended male absences, the dual burden of coordinating with both Maoist and security forces, and the impact of the Kilosera-2 operation's brutality and upheaval. Ultimately, this research sheds light on the transformative potential of women when given opportunities and challenges the prevailing societal norms, offering insights into the factors driving their participation in the Maoist movement and advocating for their rights and recognition on equal footing with men.","PeriodicalId":406267,"journal":{"name":"Academia Research Journal","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114956802","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Along with the development of language, people are advancing in the world by raising many horizons of development. The more the development of language, the more people is limiting the world within a narrow circle. Every dynamic language in the world is developing new methods and methods for its development. Similarly, among the dynamic languages, Nepali is also a dynamic and developing language. The Nepali language, developed from the Sanskrit language, has spread its influence in various countries besides Nepal. Modern linguistics recognizes language teaching as an important means of language development. Language teaching is to emphasize the specific use and development of the language while developing the listening, speaking, reading and writing of the language. Even within the same language, there are many differences, even the linguistic differences up to the language of the individual; many linguistic errors are seen in the standard use of the language. Since Nepal is a multi-lingual country, many problems have been observed in teaching language to students from different linguistic communities in the same class. It is necessary to choose appropriate linguistic materials to make language learning effective in bilingual classes. Therefore, proverbs can become very useful linguistic materials for teaching Nepali language and when using proverbs, students learn the specific use of the language on the one hand, and on the other hand, they can use the moral education given by the proverbs collected by the folk society for centuries in their daily life.","PeriodicalId":406267,"journal":{"name":"Academia Research Journal","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123433954","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Karuna rasa (Pathos) is associated with the rasa theory propounded by Acharya Bharata in the field of Eastern literature and criticism. In Karana rasa, a person or object is vibhava, the pain caused by the related person or object is pathetic feeling. Due to the combination of these, a permanent feeling of grief arises in the karuna rasa and compassion occurs. In this article, the 'Naso' story has been analyzed by referring to this rasa principle and the theoretical recognition of Karuna Rasa. Since 'Naso' story is a social story in which social reality is presented and the suffering and pain caused by the adverse conditions of human life is a social story, its introduction has also been presented and Karuna Rasa used in the story has been searched for. Since the study is qualitative in nature, the story has been analyzed on the basis of theory and a conclusion has been drawn. There are various bases of study in the field of current literature criticism, however, in this study, the selection of Karuna Rasa used in the story 'Naso' is evident because it provides new knowledge to analyze the stories associated with Karuna Rasa based on Eastern literary principles. In a majority of her novels, De aims to reveal the true reality of her characters, which many other authors inadvertently hide beneath the surface. The study also examines the factors and circumstances that significantly influence the development of human relationships as a consequence of individuals' self-centred tendencies. The author, in her works, gives her female characters the chance to define humanity, including themselves. Her reasoning is based on her belief that romantic relationships are intrinsically linked to the human tendency to emphasize one's own desires and needs. As a result, people have a self-centred psychological attitude regardless of their gender. She portrays the women as the leading characters, possessing a psyche that desires complete freedom in both their personal and social lives. To explore the human nature of self-interest in the context of establishing relationships, this qualitative research paper employs the Freudian theory of psychoanalysis and some of its interpretations by renowned literary scholars. The primary sources for this research were some of Shobha De's novels, while the secondary sources included both online and offline materials written about her major works of fiction. The study concludes that Shobha De's fictional works demonstrate that liaisons are determined by inherent human psychological factors of self-interest and egotism.","PeriodicalId":406267,"journal":{"name":"Academia Research Journal","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122042115","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The buffer zone covers various locations, including Bhim att, Bedkot municipality, Suklaphanta municipality, Beldandi Village municipality, and others. Data was collected through household surveys in five sample locations: Chathari, Sunderpur, Bagphanta, Nayagaun, and Lalpur. A total of 50 households were surveyed, with 10 sample households per location, using structured questionnaires and observation sheets. Findings from the study indicated an average family size of 6.08 individuals, with varying levels of education among adults. Approximately 74% of households were primarily engaged in agriculture, while other means of occupation included hotel business, trade, and service sector jobs. The study also highlighted the significant role of women in farming activities and childcare. Tourism was identified as an emerging economic activity in the buffer zone, with around 55% of visitors coming from different parts of the country to SWR. The Wildlife Reserve positively impacted the socio-economic environment by conserving natural resources, promoting greenery, and contributing to income and employment generation. Respondents acknowledged the buffer zone's importance in water resource conservation, with 90% agreeing that it was fruitful in this regard. However, around 6% reported facing challenges due to wild animals. Ultimately, if future initiatives align with the buffer zone's potential, the study concluded that rural poverty could be reduced, and the livelihoods of people in the area could be improved.","PeriodicalId":406267,"journal":{"name":"Academia Research Journal","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126704038","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
