This survey presents a summary of published articles on the interior Lighting environment of Autonomous Vehicles. We mainly focus on the in-vehicle lighting and its application in Autonomous Vehicles like Taking over Request (TORs) for Distracted driving (NDRT) in Autonomous Vehicles, visualisation of speed, and perception towards cabin lighting. This literature survey aims to shorten the gap by providing a comprehensive survey of critical studies and a broad range of knowledge for an excellent start-up.","PeriodicalId":405944,"journal":{"name":"2020 Fifth Junior Conference on Lighting (Lighting)","volume":"3 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114123560","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This task requires to account for numerous factors. This study investigates the thermal conditions of different LED driver components, using a previously developed model and a specialized software tool, which accounts for 28 parameters of the driver. Several input factors are investigated – the input power, the width of the driver casing, the temperature of the environment and the air velocity. The investigated parameters are the temperatures of the PCB with the SMD components, the non-SMD components, the air within the casing and the casing. The obtained results showed that the components’ temperatures have linear dependencies on the input power, the dimensions of the casing and the environmental temperature. On the other hand, the air velocity outside the casing has a nonlinear impact on the LED driver’s temperature response.","PeriodicalId":405944,"journal":{"name":"2020 Fifth Junior Conference on Lighting (Lighting)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128920139","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, the colorimetric parameters have been measured and calculated at different durations to understand the behaviour of OLED’s spectral distribution power over time. The spectral quantities of the studied OLEDs were measured using a MINOLTA-CS-1000 spectroradiometer, these measurement were treated afterwards in the “ANSI-IES TM-30-18 Basic Calculation Excel Tool”. Results shows that not all the OLED colorimetric parameters know a deterioration in terms of visual comfort when submitted to stress conditions.","PeriodicalId":405944,"journal":{"name":"2020 Fifth Junior Conference on Lighting (Lighting)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127221860","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An important role is the proper design of street lighting as well as verification of lighting levels in the process of operating the luminaires. For complex road situations, where luminance measurement is not possible, the standard allows for the use of class C and intensity measurement. Measurements of the intensity of street lighting involve the use of a hand-held luxmeter, which makes the measurements time-consuming and labor-intensive. An alternative are measuring systems located on the roof of the vehicle, while there are currently no standards for the use of dynamic measurements in normative tests. The article presents an analysis of the use of the inverse square method to interpolate measurement planes and the Dialux environment. The results confirmed the validity of the use of the method and were used to validate the measurement results obtained using our own dynamic street lighting intensity measurement system.","PeriodicalId":405944,"journal":{"name":"2020 Fifth Junior Conference on Lighting (Lighting)","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126798129","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With help of data of 10 different photometers and 75 spectral power distributions (SPDs) of light sources a large number of spectral mismatch correction factors (SMCFs) were calculated and analyzed. Based on preliminary results, 10 different light sources were selected as possible calibration sources. For each SPD of considered light sources most suitable calibration source was found together with overall best calibration source which gives SMCFs closest to value 1 for all photometers and light sources. Results show that white LED with CCT close to 4000 K is the best suitable calibration source and its use would in average decrease the measurement uncertainty of field measurements of luminance or illuminance by up to 2 %. The decrease can be noticed at average as well as at very good instruments.","PeriodicalId":405944,"journal":{"name":"2020 Fifth Junior Conference on Lighting (Lighting)","volume":"129 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125051642","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
