Abstract

During the last decade, hundreds of articles have been published on human factors in Autonomous Vehicles (AV). This survey presents a summary of published articles on the interior Lighting environment of Autonomous Vehicles. We mainly focus on the in-vehicle lighting and its application in Autonomous Vehicles like Taking over Request (TORs) for Distracted driving (NDRT) in Autonomous Vehicles, visualisation of speed, and perception towards cabin lighting. This literature survey aims to shorten the gap by providing a comprehensive survey of critical studies and a broad range of knowledge for an excellent start-up.
