And the need for plastics has increased because of a growing population and its extensive use in our daily lives. We have reviewed in this paper pertinent literature on management of plastic waste, recycling of plastics, types of plastics and their recyclability, plastic recycling process, benefits of plastic recycling and the challenges of plastic recycling in Nigeria. Papers that reported Plastic waste generation and management in Nigeria: Issues, challenges and strategies did not directly review the recyclability of plastic waste. There are different elements that formulate plastics like the polyethylene terephthalate (PET), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), low-density polyethylene (LDPE), polypropylene (PP), and others which result to an end product of weightless and tough substance which can be transformed for several purposes. Management of plastic waste is germane because plastic waste not disposed properly has detrimental fallout on the Environment. The recycling process involves the collection, selecting, sorting, cleaning, shredding, then melting and molding. It is important to note that all plastics cannot be recycled together as a result of different molecular makeup. For instance, melting together all types of plastics gives rise to immiscibility and then different layers which weaken the structural formation of the polymer blend. A large chunk of the plastics produced yearly are used up in a short time and returned back as garbage. The research employed Post-Colonial Theory for the study’s framework analysis and utilized qualitative method of data collections through Content-Analysis that make use of the play Sizwe Bansi is Dead couple with the adoption of textual technique process to dissect the play. Other sources of knowledge such as published books, journals and online materials were utilized as secondary data. The study adopted Purposive Sampling method to focus on the play while a thematic method was used to analyze information studied. The study found that the author Athol Fugard make use of multiple dramatic methods that include flashback technique, separation effect method, method of story-within-a-story, minor sets and props technique that were all compressed by utilizing small cast hence cost effective. The research therefore conclude that the play Sizwe Bansi is Death as authored by Athol Fugard is a political protest best applied through theatre and art ignoring violence as means to achieve political change in African environment. The play is considered a success as it has spread the message all over the world. Despite playing vital roles in promoting cooperative relationships between states while also providing frameworks for dispute resolution strategies which sustain global stability over time, issues surrounding authority often call into question its capacity as a legit kindred institution. Enforcement mechanisms simply aren't as centralized or standardized as it is in other legal systems, while other arguments deal with state sovereignty limitations. Supporters argue that legitimacy stems from state consent and supportive treaty obligations, combined with legal precedent set by former decisions. This reliance on factors such as \"opinio juris\" (shared belief both within and outside of state power circles) is considered an important part of creating enforceable norms on equal footing. The paper aims at understanding the legitimacy of international laws especially considering the emerging issues in the international relations. With this objective, the paper adopts the theory of liberal institutionalism, where it states that the international system requires the existence of a system that will governs its affairs. With states as the main actors in the international system, international law is seen as a product of collective decision-making, where states voluntarily agree to abide by certain rules and obligations. Corruption is any form or act of dishonesty perpetuated by individual(s) to weaken a legitimate institution or process and this has a direct consequence(s) against development as development is both quantitative and qualitative transformation. Political Corruption which are those act of dishonesty perpetuated by Politicians either elected, selected and or appointed is inimical to the growth and development of Nigeria. The method of Data Collection employ in this paper strictly concerns to the design and the method of Data Collection. The explanatory design was used in this paper for the purpose of relying on document evidence to prove the injury caused by political corruption and the secondary method of data collection was used.
