Quarter wavelength transformers are utilized for better impedance matching. The proposed antenna can provide a linear polarization state with wide bandwidth and right and left-hand circular polarization with acceptable axial ratio bandwidth through activating one feed at a time. Other states can be obtained with different phase shifts by involving two or more active feeds. No diodes and hence no DC or AC biasing circuits are used in this design. Various aspects of the antenna have been analyzed such as reflection coefficient Sn, ports isolation, axial ratio, far-field E and H pattern and gain are investigated and optimized through several parametric studies of the antenna variables.","PeriodicalId":405841,"journal":{"name":"2020 13th International Conference on Communications (COMM)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126053682","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Addressing the land cover changes generated by extreme natural phenomena, in this paper, we present the ability of the bag-of-words (BoW) framework for change detection in remote sensing images. Regarding this, we used Sentinel-2 images related to two case studies: the massive bushfires from Kangaroo Island, on January 2020, and 2019 Midwestern U.S floods. Our experimental results demonstrated that the proposed methodology can achieve promising performance for both fires and floods scenarios.","PeriodicalId":405841,"journal":{"name":"2020 13th International Conference on Communications (COMM)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126656432","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Training on data specific to the defended system is more effective than training on publicly available datasets. This fact is arguable for the security solutions reviewed, but it is sure for solutions dedicated to incident response and forensics operations. This paper's objective is to design a machine learning-based schema for triage solutions used in quick incident response. In addition, the blood volume can be discriminated from the sourounding tissues because of its optical reflectance property under a certain wavelengh of light source. In medical systems that used blood for donation the setup of apparatus can made the optimum environment to apply the photopletysmography tecnique. Therefore, in the presented paper the estimation of blood flow rate is determined by applying the described technique. This measurement can increase the redundance of electronical part that monitor the blood flow during the transfusion operation. The actual method that calculate the previous parameter is based on the mass sensor however, in the event of the inoperability of the force sensor, the mass of the blood packet may be greater or less than a predetermined volume. The article discusses possible options for the passage of blood flow through the tube, as well as modeling the real process of donation. It is part of the work devoted to the modernization and development of new equipment for transfusion therapy based on LLC Lidkor production.","PeriodicalId":405841,"journal":{"name":"2020 13th International Conference on Communications (COMM)","volume":"188 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132640427","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The developers of these applications need a collection of protocols that provide efficient secure computation with all basic data types and secure protocol composition. We focus in this paper on protocols for multioperand floating-point addition and dot products, to provide a more comprehensive analysis of their complexity and performance, as well as improved solutions. These protocols are part of a framework that supports all basic data types. It provides information on how such a filter may be used as discrete-time estimator, and even more so, offer valuable information on the rate of change of the input signal. An example of an application where the proposed acquisition-synchronous filter is useful, is in automotive radar-based driver assistance systems. The filter is responsible for estimating the velocity and acceleration of the tracked targets, which are then fed into a range- only Kalman Filter Tracker. The proposed algorithm fusion not only reduces computational complexity, but also improves performance. This device is powered by a coin battery and can communicate with a PC or smartphone by Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology. A MATLAB application is implemented on the PC that receives data from CC2650 Sensor Tag and performs the computations to obtain the heading and display it in real-time. The first step is to calibrate the magnetometer. Then the heading is computed. In order to improve the performance, a fusion with the gyroscope data using the Kalman filter is performed. The 3D orientation of CC2650 Sensor Tag is also computed using data from all the sensors and the new functions introduced in MATLAB.
