Both concepts relate directly to the teaching of Bulgarian language and define its objectives. In both theoretical models, however, the semantic parameters of the terms vary and this makes it difficult to interpret them unambiguously. The problem is transferred to the normative documents in the educational system, where there is observed a certain chaos in the use of the concepts of competence and literacy, especially according to their varieties and relations. It turns out that the ideas and observations shared by Vela Blagoeva are working and important for our era - terminology such as: reading literacy, functional literacy, are particularly relevant. The connection between a specific literary work of art and its linguistic analysis is an aspiration of the overall teaching of BEL. The idea of systematization in the educational process is a requirement that is fundamental in our methodological work today. V. Blagoeva's work is the production, the compilation of a complete student written text. The practical direction in the guide proposed by the author is the main aspiration of our pedagogical work today. That gives us confidence to further actively research working pedagogical study models. In the course of one academic year, we have been developing such dynamic model with the medical students (who study Medicine in English), taking part in the freely chosen discipline “Bulgarian for medical purposes”. At this stage we have the following goals: to verify problematic areas in communication in professional environment and during practice; applying together conventional and innovative methods, instruments, and forms of education and proposing ways to improve the educational process; interdisciplinary approach to realize successful communicative competence by creating a direct connection between theory and practice. At the end of the academic year, we thus define the parameters of the results of the communicative competence in Bulgarian for professional communication. Klymentova, Olha Soroka","doi":"10.53656/bel2022-3-2-ks","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.53656/bel2022-3-2-ks","url":null,"abstract":"The paper is aimed at studying the results of Ukrainian scientists who developed the theory and practice of suggestopedia.The ideas of the outstanding Bulgarian scholar G. Lozanov serve as the foundation of modern linguistics, including the directions of suggestive language didactics, linguistics of influence, psychological and neurological and marketing linguistics. Thanks to Lozanovʼs contribution, researchers have learned to find suggestive components in political messages, analyze strategic narratives, find hidden aspects in religious texts, better understand the applied nature of some folk genres and more. The special anthropological value of Lozanovʼs approaches is objectified by the development of neuroscience, where a person is often positioned as a functionary with electronic chips. Instead, Lozanovʼs man is a free, conscious and loving man. Although research on suggestion is growing in the scientific literature, there is still a significant gap in this topic, in particular on theoretical and empirical developments on the impact of suggestion on various aspects of communication. A review of recent publications on suggestopedic topics shows that the interest in G. Lozanov’s approaches does not fade and is nourished by the pedagogical search for educational paradigms which are adequate to the real needs of life and capable of combining tradition with innovation. The research focuses on the visualization of the acquired new knowledge by the students as a result of their active learning, which includes independent search, selection, interpretation and attractive presentation of the studied information. This series of consecutive actions of the student directly corresponds to the role of the teacher – this is where the skills of the teacher-innovator become apparent – he not only prepares an interesting project topic for work, but also correctly selects and distributes learning tasks, taking into account students' abilities, provoking their interest. These paradigms are: ballad, story, memoir and passion. Each of them has its own way of processing the life material, its own composition and way of building the images of the main characters, its own way of posing the artistic problem, as well as a specific way of impact and social function. Despite the differences between the four genre paradigms clearly present in this book, its semantic world is emphatically unified. This unity is ensured by the fact that the idea of ​​truth underlies all four genre models. In order for this to be achieved a few key scenes are analyzed, since they introduce main themes and narrative strategies, followed throughout the novel, as well as point out the allegorical contrast between light and darkness, good and evil.
