Manually ontology development is currently considered complex, requiring a lot of time and effort. This research was proposed to develop methods to build automatic domain ontology bilingual in Indonesian and English by using corpus and ontology design patterns (ODPs) in tuberculosis disease. In this study, the methods used were to combine ontology learning from text and correspond with ontology design patterns to decrease the role of expert knowledge. The methods in this research consist of six stages: (i) Term and relation extraction (ii) Corresponding with Tuberculosis glossary (iii) Corresponding the ontology design patterns (iv) Score computation similarity term and relations with ODPs (v) Ontology Building (vi) Ontology evaluation. The results of ontology construction were 361 terms and 44 relations with 260 terms were added. The calculation accuracy of ontology construction was 71%. Ontology construction had higher complexity and shorter time as well as decreases the role of the expert knowledge which proof that the automatic ontology evaluation is better than manual ontology construction.","PeriodicalId":404904,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Informatics and Computing (ICIC)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126627267","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

IT innovation adoption is relatively controllable, while the investigating way of work of IT implementation is far more difficult to control as it involves complex interactions among individuals, technology, and the environment. Similar to other organizations, higher educational institutions are also involved in IT innovation implementation. IT innovation is seen as key enabler to transform higher education, nevertheless many IT implementation initiatives are far from successful. This study proposed an IT innovation effectiveness model for higher education and investigates what are the factors that contribute to IT innovation effectiveness. The proposed model was based on the post adoption stage of Diffusion of Innovation theory and Klein and Sorra's innovation implementation model. The model was adapted to the higher education context by including new variables. Using the survey method, the model was validated using a sample of 91 higher educational institutions in Indonesia. The findings of the study confirmed that top management support (TMS) influence successful IT innovation effectiveness (ITNE) both directly and indirectly through implementation policies and practices (IPP) of ITNE. Consequently, top management bodies in the context of the HEIs in Indonesia should prioritize on IPP first. This will enable implementation policies to influence on successful ITNE. In a similar manner, the role of IPP is very important as mediator of the relationship between TMS and ITNE to achieve success of ITNE.","PeriodicalId":404904,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Informatics and Computing (ICIC)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128472757","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Not all the mistyped words are totally wrong. If they are caused by human errors, we should look further to handle it. Thus, enhanced version of Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) is proposed. LSA is enhanced by calculating the value of mistyped words before constructing the term document matrix. Essays which are scored consists of 119 English essays of student's writing assignment while several essays as gold standard are made by experts. All of the essays have been scored manually by the human grader. Enhanced LSA gives the closeness level of 0.242 to human judgment, while LSA indicates the closeness level of 0.244 to human judgment. Unfortunately, Enhanced LSA cannot outperform GLSA which is one of current methods. In this paper, we are concerned with its implementation in Matlab. We run the simulation with 7600 fluid particles and 1602 boundary particles. We improve the boundary model of arterial wall deformation together with the inlet and outlet boundary conditions to form a two-dimensional model of a stenosed pulsating artery. We also create a non-penetrating condition at the arterial wall while maintaining a stable flow in the interior. It mainly functions to remove the waste products of the human body metabolism. 850.000 mortalities are caused by chronic kidney failure. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), chronic kidney failure was ranked as one of the top 12 causes of death in the world. For that reason, we need to develop CBR that can help in diagnosing kidney failure. CBR is a computer reasoning system which uses pre-existing cases and knowledge to solve new problems. CBR provides solutions to new cases by looking at the previous cases which are the most similar to new case. The patients' medical records on kidney failure are used as data. Calculation of similarity between the old and new cases was measured by using a simple matching coefficient. This study used a waterfall methodology begins with information system engineering, need analysis, design coding, and testing. For coding, authors used PHP programming language and MySQL data base. Having obtained the result of CBR statistics further tested whether CBR can be wholly accepted when there is a new case. The result of the CBR experiment showed that the system can diagnose kidney failure based on the experiment done by the experts with a 80% success rate and that rate has been tested by using a statistical Spearman rank test with a significant level of 5%, resulting there are 15 symptoms that can explain the stadium levels of the kidney failure patients.","PeriodicalId":404904,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Informatics and Computing (ICIC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129139587","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The development of modern computer networks such as the Internet makes routing protocols increasingly required to find the best and efficient route. This study examined the performance of routing protocols RIPng, OSPFv3, and EIGRP in an IPv6 network by using GNS3 based on parameters of throughput, jitter and packet loss. Throughput is the actual speed of a network, the higher the throughput then the faster the data transfer can be completed. Jitter is the difference in the arrival time interval between packets at the destination node. To get a better value of QoS (Quality of Service), the value of jitter must be kept to a minimum. Packet loss is the number of lost data packets during the data transmission process. To get a better QoS value, the value of packet loss must also be kept to a minimum. The results of this research indicate that the RIPng routing protocol has the highest throughput value, whilst a combination of OSPFv3-EIGRP routing protocols has the smallest jitter value. Lastly, the RIPng routing protocol has the smallest value for packet loss.","PeriodicalId":404904,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Informatics and Computing (ICIC)","volume":"101 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132048705","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
