The best reacting conditions were found to be 1.0 wt.% of iron ions loading on Kuala Kangsar clay (KKC) when the dosage of the catalyst is 2.5 g/L with initial pH of 4.0, [H2O2]0 of 8 mM, [RB5]o of 50 mgL-1 at temperature 30 °C. Under these conditions, 99% decolorization efficiency of RB5 was achieved within 180 min reaction time. Diagnosing brain hemorrhage, which is mainly through the examination of a CT scan enables the accurate prediction of disease and the extraction of reliable and robust measurement for patients in order to describe the morphological changes in the brain as the recovery progresses. Though a lot of research on medical image processing has been done, still there is opportunity for further research in the area of brain hemorrhage diagnosis due to the low accuracy level in the current methods and algorithms, coding complexity of the developed approaches, impracticability in the real environment, and lack of other enhancements which may make the system more interactive and useful. Additionally many of the existing approaches address the diagnosis of a limited no of brain hemorrhage types. This project investigates the possibility of diagnosing brain hemorrhage using an image segmentation of CT scan images using watershed method and feeding of the appropriate inputs extracted from the brain CT image to an artificial neural network for classification. The output generated as the type of brain hemorrhages, can be used to verify expert diagnosis and also as a learning tool for trainee radiologists to minimize errors in current methods. The prototype developed using Matlab can help medical students to practice the related concepts they learn using an image guide with examples for surgeries and surgical simulation. System was evaluated by the domain experts, like radiologists, intended users such as medical students as well as by technical experts. However, the prime minister can also request for Parliament to be dissolved at any time within that five years. Politicians, especially from the ruling coalition, are scrambling to ensure another victory in PRU13. Similarly, the opposition will try their best to win through the democratic process of voting. Hence, the current political scenarios have continued to see remarks, insinuations and even outright accusations on certain issues among the politicians so as to gain public attention. Some will even go to the extent of digging dubious pasts of the individuals and engaging in character smearing resulting in court cases to prove their innocence while others will demand for public apology. However, not all politicians will apologize and non-apology will drag the case for an indefinite time. The unwillingness to apologize requires much thought and deliberation in the amygdala. Consequently, through purposive sampling and the analyses of preliminary interviews with politicians and political analysts, this paper will propose and provide insights into the construct of a variable framework that will form the foundation of neuropolitically-based non-apologetic behavior among politicians in Malaysia. The presence of currents in the water body alters the form of wave profile and characteristics. This paper presents the experimental study of the dynamic responses of the classic and truss spars subjected to random wave and current. The JONSWAP Spectrum was used to generate the random wave. The responses of the structures due to random wave and current in terms of Response Amplitude Operators (RAO) in surge, heave and pitch were determined and presented. Thermoenzymes from thermophilic microorganisms are heat-stable, able to withstand denaturants of extremely acidic and alkaline conditions, and thus, have a considerable potential for many industrial applications. Thermophilic microorganisms are able to degrade on certain substrates and its subsequent utilization are said to be important for global carbon sources. The aim of this study was to screen and isolate the thermophiles capable of producing thermostable lipase, amylase and cellulase. The highly sedimented water sample was taken from the local hot spring located at Hulu Langat, Selangor. The pH of the hot springs within the area was recorded to be slightly alkaline with the temperature ranging from 55°C to 70°C. The results of this study showed five bacterial strains with positive results for lipolytic activity via screening on selective medium containing Tween 80, 11 positive isolates of amylase-producing thermophiles that displayed large and distinct halo-forming zone upon the treatment of flooding iodine method on starch-nutrient medium and 5 positive isolates of cellulolytic thermophiles screened via selective carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) medium. Some findings on the train service delays in some parts of Asia and Western Europe are presented. The types and causes of service disruptions are analyzed across some rail network operators. The equivalent cost measures of delays done by past studies are also discussed. These costs are expressed in terms of monetary and time value. Finally, the benefits obtained from some improvement projects, are briefly addressed. However, these nodes have limited battery power and due to the nature of this technology which enables communication between nodes which can be deployed anywhere including hard-accessed area, thus it is not feasible to recharge or replace the batteries. Therefore power consumption of each sensor node should be minimized so that overall network lifetime will be increased. In order to minimize power consumption, some nodes which can be considered redundant, can be put to shutdown mode. In this paper, a shutdown technique is being proposed. The technique is Random Node Shutdown. In this technique, nodes are randomly shutdown according to the criteria and conditions defined. The researchers have adapted the Principles of Persuasive Technology into this application to increase its effectiveness. Persuasive Technology refers to any interactive computing system designed to change people's attribute or behavior. A Usability Test and Heuristic Evaluation are performed to assess the application. The assessment includes interactivity, navigation, design, color, and integration of multimedia elements. A powerful electric dipole antenna which is used as transmitter of electromagnetic (EM) wave is towed above the seabed to detect resistivity contrasts in the subsurface. The signal will propagate through the layers and then recorded by receivers, which consist of both electric and magnetic antennas, placed on the sea bed. One of the major problems in implementing this method is the airwaves effect that occurs at shallow water environment. It should be noted that the air waves could dominate the measured EM data such that the presence of the thin resistive body may not be readily detected. This paper is going to discuss the effect of airwaves in SBL for shallow water environment. EM data for with and without hydrocarbon were collected via simulation using CST EM Studio for various water depths from deepwater 1000 m to shallow water 100 m. Magnitudes versus Offset (MVO) values were plotted.
