The book ”Vocea de la căpătâi. Ghid practic de consiliere la patul bolnavului” [The bedside voice. Practical guide for counseling at the patient's bedside], published in 2019, by Lumen Publishing House, authored by Ligia Moise, addresses a theme that is part of the nature of existential psychology - death. Since this very passage is the only certainty of life, the existence of specialized literature, which debates this aspect from a psychological point of view, is certainly welcomed.","PeriodicalId":404298,"journal":{"name":"Journal for Ethics in Social Studies","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128666743","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Basically, the two provisions stated above express the same idea, although this repetition was not absolutely necessary. From the current regulation of solving the civil action during the criminal trial, we notice that the legislator has maintained a series of general principles such as: cases of ex officio settlement of the civil action, dependence of the civil action on the way the criminal action is settled, the disjunction of the civil action from the criminal proceedings, the failure to resolve the civil action as a distinct procedure from that of admitting or rejecting the civil action, resolving the civil action only by the court, and the interdiction to resolve it during the criminal investigation, which, however, were adapted to a new legislative vision.","PeriodicalId":404298,"journal":{"name":"Journal for Ethics in Social Studies","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132464200","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Preventive measures are institutions of criminal procedural law, and have a coercive character, aimed at the deprivation or the restriction of individual liberty, whereby the suspect or defendant is prevented from undertaking certain activities that would adversely affect the proper conduct of criminal proceedings or achieving the purpose of the criminal trial. Regarding the cases of pre-trial detention and the conditions that must be met in order to take the measure of pre-trial detention, it must be said that they result from the corroborated examination of the provisions of art. 202 para. 1 and 3, and art. 223 of the Criminal Procedure Code. Today, the influence of the families of origin in the selection of the conjugal partner, in the marital decision and, often, in the way of organizing the functions of the family is obvious. Moreover, the general economic situation makes living with parents an alternative to consider. In this sense, the premises of modern marital relations are very difficult for some. At the same time, analyzing the national statistical data, we can see that the indicators that show the traditionality in the distribution of domestic roles show that over 50% of respondents consider that household chores should be done by women. Surprisingly, perhaps, if we compare the statistical data of the Gender Barometer from 2000 and 2018, we notice that, if in the first barometer, the share of those who believed in the female specifics of domestic roles was 63%, in 2018, this opinion amounted to 53% (Grumberg, Rusu, Samoilă, 2019). Beyond the general attitude, a new set of behaviors identified in young couples gradually legitimizes a new form of conjugal manifestation - relational individualism. The study aims to functionally evaluate these new tendencies of manifestation, analyzing the effects of relational individualism within the Romanian contemporary couple. The research bases its methodology on the utilitarian myth, that of the mutual fulfillment of needs, it is of a qualitative nature and the research instrument is the semi-structured interview.","PeriodicalId":404298,"journal":{"name":"Journal for Ethics in Social Studies","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116728570","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Modern man neither has a developed sub-mental instinct like that of the animals, nor has gained a supra-mental intuitive consciousness like that of the seers. In such a scenario, a firm leadership is required to show him the right direction. Since the collective entity like family, society, organization or nation is a summation of individuals, the effect of such leadership may be felt at these levels. Thousands of years ago, Indian Rishis discovered the laws governing the physical and moral world of human beings and applied the same to develop a leadership concept which has been in action, albeit with varying intensities, since time immemorial. Understanding that concept and its implications for the present world is an interesting endeavour.","PeriodicalId":404298,"journal":{"name":"Journal for Ethics in Social Studies","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122949514","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But, also each of them has their own regulations and particularities given by their special and unique field of action, civil and military. Step by step, drones gained their place in the actual research area and we need to know and explore all the actual legal regulations existing at European level and global one. We should not ignore the fact that drones have many positive advantages and disadvantages; and, we need to take into consideration all the ethical issues that can occur in different stages of research. A clear and coherent image of the ethical and legal issues that appear in actual civil and military research for drones is representative for our field of study. Also a future representation for their usage is significant and must be brought into discussion. We presented in this paper the case studies of European Union and United States of America who already have adopted legal and ethical regulations regarding the usage of civil drones or so named `Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems`. We will also have in our attention the comparison of current ethical and legal regulations from the European Union and United States of America and also the differences between civil and military drones and their existing particularities. At the end of our paper we include future possible usage of drones in the near future respecting the ethical issue that those include and we did not take into consideration.","PeriodicalId":404298,"journal":{"name":"Journal for Ethics in Social Studies","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134214536","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, the obligations of the civil party regarding the conditions for filing the declaration of civil party must be cumulatively met. The need for the act of constitution as a civil party to indicate the evidence that the claim resides on results not only from the general form that a civil action must fulfill (as it is regulated in the civil procedure legislation, according to art. 194 letter e of the Civil Procedure Code], but also from the obligation stipulated by art. 99 para. 1 of the Criminal Procedure Code, in the sense that, in the civil action, the burden of proof falls on the civil party, unless the prosecutor exercises the civil action for the persons protected by art. 19 para. 3 of the Criminal Procedure Code, in which case the burden of proof falls on the prosecutor. Among the many side effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, it has become clear that the current health crisis provided a breeding ground for an increase in domestic and intra-family violence. In France, the incidence of violence against women is estimated to have increased by 30% during the first round of containment. Our study aims to analyze the situation in the French system, to present the legislative framework in this area, but also the institutions with a major role in the fight against violence.","PeriodicalId":404298,"journal":{"name":"Journal for Ethics in Social Studies","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122358409","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The book “Trăind cu schizofrenia” [Living with schizophrenia], published by Lumen Publishing House in 2020, is written by two practicing psychologists, Eliza Gianina Cogian, who has been training in family and couple systemic psychotherapy, and also as a therapist for people diagnosed with schizophrenia, and Adina Nicoleta Karner Huţuleac, who is a doctor of psychology and trainer of family and couple systemic psychotherapy. There are many misconceptions and myths about schizophrenia. We must recognize that these myths contribute to maintaining a global pessimism regarding the knowledge related to this disease and at the same time can reduce the patient's chances to improve their condition or to recover. In this sense, the book has the great merit of comparatively analyzing different theoretical concepts, including that of Jung or Bleuler, but also some forms of therapeutic intervention.","PeriodicalId":404298,"journal":{"name":"Journal for Ethics in Social Studies","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124996404","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
