This choice influences marital harmony or disharmony and for this reason, the decision should be made after a sufficient period of knowing the partner. Moreover, the decision to marry should be the synthesis of concrete experiences that show how the partner reacts in the concrete situations of life, how the partner reacts to the needs of the other, what is the level of participation in the joint actions of the couple and, of course, how they react in situations of stress. But, beyond the \"theories\", the elections are often the effect of the emotion of the moment, an effect of the immediate need for fusion or an effect of the culture of the reference community. Thus, although the choices seem to be free, they receive influences from the families of origin, from the reference group or from the culture of the community of which an individual is a part. The study aims to investigate the situation of culturally imposed marriages due to the woman's condition of being pregnant before marriage. With cultural imperatives like \"get married because you're embarrassing us!\" or \"get married because there is a risk that the man will leave you!\", some of the pregnant women accept the haste of marriage. The way in which the partners communicate as a couple positively or negatively influences the relationship between them and, through them, the relationship with the extended family. The level of self-esteem, fear of failure, fear of conflicts, dominance tendencies, cultural imperatives, etc. are among the main causes that influence the quality of communication between spouses. And if sociological and psychological theories see the conflict as only being a state that highlights the differences between partners, those that should later be subject to marital self-mediation, most individuals do not see the difference between conflict and scandal. They see conflict as an inevitable failure and its anticipation mainly creates the strategy of avoiding it than that of a frontal approach and solving the problem. Effective communication is based on the principle of openness towards the other and sincerity. The sincerity of one stimulates the sincerity of the other and the partners thus know the true feelings and needs of the other. Social and Jurisdictional Aspects","authors":"Simion Belea","doi":"10.18662/jess/5.1/39","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18662/jess/5.1/39","url":null,"abstract":"The refugee crisis generated by internal conflicts and civil wars from various areas consolidated unilateral interventions towards security, rather than developing a collective answer and providing immediate actions based on human rights to support vulnerable groups. A retrospection of the past decade events in the Arabic World, illustrates that during the years 2014 - 2021, the world witnessed the highest wave of refugees migrating from Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan and Iraq to Europe. By analysing this, we can argue that concerns regarding security policies led to a significant increase in the number of difficulties that refugees and asylum seekers encounter in obtaining international protection support. The 24th of February 2022 marks the beginning of the Russian invasion in Ukraine. It similarly marks the day when the twenty seven countries – members of the EU allowed the directive for temporary protection and support to the Ukrainian refugees, for the first time in the European Union history. The state of democracy in a state is influenced by a multitude of factors, which interfere with each other, but also by the media's ability to function from the perspective of the role of \"watch dog for democracy\". In recent years, according to national and international assessments, the Republic of Moldova faces a series of social - political problems, which determine the deviation from the principles and norms of democratic functioning of the state, the establishment of a party dictatorship and the emergence of the democracy deficit. The contribution of the media in the democratization processes, especially in the context of post-Soviet countries, is indisputable from a double perspective: the press institutions acquire a new model of functioning after the totalitarian period, restrictive in the field of journalistic practices and within society, in which citizens opt for democracy, the collective memory of past events is still maintained. Antonescu","doi":"10.18662/JESS/13","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18662/JESS/13","url":null,"abstract":": The current paper discusses the origins of the concept of “daguo”, a term used in the Chinese academic literature to refer to the “great powers”. We will use a particular concept, i.e. “mega-daguo”, to refer to entities higher than the great powers (states, in the classic sense), that is new, trans-state or super-state actors of transcontinental or continental dimensions . Such entities create fusions among different civilizations; they have a specific behaviour, distinct from the behaviour of great powers, as currently perceived by us, in the traditional sense of the term. The current paper analyses the typology of mega-daguos; we will refer to the post-Huntingtonian age, that of a world which has overcome the dualist paradigm of the “inevitable conflict” among the civilizations, a world which has turned the principle of dialogue among the mega-daguos into a fundamental principle underlying a world of colossi . The last part of the paper proposes a fundamental document of the new world of post-state actors (mega-daguos), for the 21st century.
