With finite element calculation, the first 5 order modal frequency and vibration shape of diesel engine shafting and motor shafting were obtained. Based on diesel engine shafting model and motor shafting model, hybrid power system shafting finite element model was established, and the first 10 order modal frequency and vibration shape were obtained. Calculation results show that every modal frequency of hybrid power system shafting is declined compared with ordinary power system. Reason for the decline is motor shafting modal frequency is significantly less than diesel engine shafting. The 1 order vibration shape of hybrid power system shafting is torsion vibration. Hybrid power system shafting vibration experiment table was established and shafting vibration testing were carried out. Torsion vibration experiment results show that f0 and 2f0 are two peak frequency of shafting torsion vibration frequency spectrum, shafting peak frequency is less than shafting 1 order modal frequency 212 Hz and shafting torsion resonance can be avoided. Bending vibration experiment results show that bending vibration energy is focuses in x direction and y direction. Hybrid power system axial vibration can be ignored.","PeriodicalId":403312,"journal":{"name":"2013 Fourth International Conference on Digital Manufacturing & Automation","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133708222","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we propose a power management scheme using a MEMS inertial switch to minimize power consumption and maximize lifetime of environmental vibration monitoring system. The MEMS inertial switch integrates detecting and controlling systems with no power consumption. A prototype with unidirectional sensitivity is designed and fabricated based on bulk micromachining technology. The switch die (5.8×5.8×0.55mm3) is packaged and tested. As an 80g half-sine-wave acceleration was applied, the response time and contact time are about 0.37ms and 49ms, respectively. The contact resistance is no more than 6& Omega;. These indicate the switch has the advantages of miniature, high sensitivity and good contact effect which are suitable for the applications in power management of environmental vibration monitoring.","PeriodicalId":403312,"journal":{"name":"2013 Fourth International Conference on Digital Manufacturing & Automation","volume":"155 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134452828","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The time domain features are extracted from the segments of the experimental dataset for known machine conditions. The dataset has been subjected to somewhat preprocessing previous to feature extraction. The ANN consists of five input nodes, one hidden layer with five nodes and four output nodes. Each of five input nodes represents root mean square, variance, skewness, kurtosis and normalized sixth central moment of the time domain vibration signals, respectively. Four binary nodes in the output layer specify the bearing condition: normal, outer race defect, inner race defect or ball defect. The ANN is trained using back propagation algorithm with a subset of the time domain features. The ANN is tested using the remaining set of the time domain features. Training and test success are used to evaluate efficiency of the presented method. The results indicate the effectiveness of the time domain features in diagnosis of bearing failures with high accuracy and low computation.","PeriodicalId":403312,"journal":{"name":"2013 Fourth International Conference on Digital Manufacturing & Automation","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134487518","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Meanwhile, a secure hardware, Trusted Cryptography Module (TCM) [1], provides security support from the hardware layer, greatly increasing the crack difficulty.
