In addition, this study intends to examine the role of e-WOM as a mediator in the relationship between destination image and destination choice. On the basis of earlier research, a pilot study was conducted to establish the instrument's validity and reliability.A descriptive research design and a positivist approach were applied to the present investigation. A sample of 380 valid questionnaires was analyzed for the present study. To obtain data from travellers who visited Kashmir Valley, the convenience sample technique was used. SPSS.20 and AMOS software were utilised for data analysis. Using AMOS software and the Structured Equation Modelling (SEM) methodology, the stated assumptions were tested. The analysis indicated that the image of a destination has a significant impact on tourist destination selection. However, the Covid-19 pandemic unlocked new avenues for tourism, including virtual travel. The pandemic seriously impacted the travel and tourism industries due to border closures that grounded the transportation industry and led to job losses. Historically, tourism has quickly bounced back after disasters, pandemics, and epidemics. Hence, a new outlook was developed with the introduction of the New Normal or “business as usual”. The pandemic of covid-19 has compelled tourism industry stakeholders to explore and analyze the transformative attributes of tourist destination attractiveness to revive the industry and regain tourists’ confidence. The research study is constructed on secondary data and literature analysis. The researchers have examined numerous studies representing transformative destination attractiveness to examine the characteristics. The study concludes that there is a paradigm shift in the attributes affecting tourist destination attractiveness which will help the tourism stakeholders in marketing and restarting tourism after the pandemic. These transformative attributes will increase the number of visitors, assisting the tourism industry's recovery from the pandemic. \u0000Keywords: Tourist Destination Attractiveness, Transformative Attributes, Revival of tourism","PeriodicalId":402404,"journal":{"name":"Atna Journal of Tourism Studies","volume":"349 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123407394","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this, a systematic literature network analysis, comprising a systematic literature review using the PRISMA framework, bibliometric analysis using R programming, network analysis, and thematic analysis was performed. The findings revealed that the most important clusters of research in this area are related to curriculum development, work-integrated learning, and industry partnerships. The review explored the importance of industry-academic collaboration, challenges, curriculum development, and employability as four main themes in the area of industrial linkage in hospitality education. As indicated by researchers, the review suggests the effectiveness of different approaches to industry-academia collaboration in hospitality education, the impact of industrial linkage on the quality of hospitality education in several regions, the role of technologies in enhancing the collaboration between academia and industry in hospitality education, and the development of a sustainable curriculum that incorporates environmental, social, and economic sustainability in hospitality education as future research areas.","PeriodicalId":402404,"journal":{"name":"Atna Journal of Tourism Studies","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130918163","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to assess how the pandemic affected both DQAs and recovery efforts, this study employed a systematic review methodology. The review of a literature followed the PRISMA’s protocol. The first screening extracted 165 papers from Dimensions and Lens web sources, which were further filtered according to their date of publication, publication type, keywords, publisher, and title relevance. After the initial screening, from the preliminary articles which were retained for consideration, 60 met inclusion criteria. To identify the concurrency of topics, a consolidated spreadsheet was mapped using Vosviewer and Nvivo software. The mapping process identified three main topics, destination attributes, impacts, and recovery strategies. The study used descriptive Meta-ethnography approaches to further synthesize the data. It is observed that the majority of articles reviewed are published between 2021 and 2022 and the majority use quantitative and qualitative methods. China contributed the majority of the articles while Indonesia and India contributed a significant number. Meta-ethnography synthesis revealed seven concepts related to each of the three main dimensions. The findings raise anxiety to revisit destination management practices and policies post-pandemic. While much research has been conducted on service quality, relatively few have examined how demographic variables influence the connection between the quality of service and price on customer satisfaction in the fast-food outlets or what is now known as Quick Service Restaurant (QSR). The present study attempts to gain a deeper insight into the association of Customer Satisfaction (CS) with Service Quality (SQ) and Pricing (value). Simultaneously, the current study also explores how the demographic variables moderate the relationship between the constructs described above. \u0000It is a quantitative research that used a standardized, self-administered online questionnaire and a random sample technique to collect data from 360 customers of QSR in India. SPSS and Smart PLS were used to analyze the data obtained. Smart PLS was used to ascertain the impact of price and SQ on CS and the effect of moderating variables. \u0000The finding suggests that both price and SQ have a positive and significant relation with CS. The demographic variables moderate the relationship between price and customer satisfaction; however, only income moderates the relationship between SQ and CS. These results suggest that restaurant QSR managers/owners should strengthen Service Quality to enhance Customer Satisfaction. Hence, the manager/owner should provide value for money and quality service to their customer to satisfy them.","PeriodicalId":402404,"journal":{"name":"Atna Journal of Tourism Studies","volume":"103 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132472975","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
