The aim of the study is: 1) Analysis of resource productivity in selected nine countries in the Balkan region, 2) Assessment of the role of digitalization (and four key characteristics) as a factor for increasing the productivity of resources in the Balkan cluster. Method: The survey uses a method based on statistical analysis of Eurostat data and data collected in an open and standardized way, using a correlation coefficient. Results: The results of the empirical study should demonstrate the link between the digitization process in the Balkan cluster and increasing resource productivity. The survey was conducted among 25 working clusters in Bulgaria and all of them have active cooperation with partners from the Balkan countries. Conclusions: The study and conclusions demonstrate the significant opportunities for increasing resource productivity in the Balkan region by digitizing processes, resulting in optimizing consumption and separation of economic activity from material consumption. This process requires a new development strategy, strategic and flexible cooperation between the private and public sectors, between different companies, educational and research institutes, between companies from different countries in a region, which can be most effectively implemented in the cluster union.","PeriodicalId":402125,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Engineering and Technology Advances","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123514545","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Calcined Animal Bone was used as a bio-base catalyst for the biodiesel production. The produced biodiesel was characterized and the optimum biodiesel produced was determined via statistical analysis using regression analysis. This was with a view to adding value to the waste used oil (WUO) and finding environmentally friendly alternative to fossil fuel. Waste used oil (WUO) was preheated and purified to clean oil via filtration, and the physiochemical and other parameters (cetane number, API, aniline point among others) the cleaned oil were determined using standard methods. The Calcined animal bone was characterized using FTIR, SEM, XRF, BET adsorption, and qualitative analysis. Biodiesel production was done via base catalyst trans- esterification while statistical analysis was done using Microsoft Excel 8.0. In order to ascertain the quality of the biodiesel, the physicochemical properties were determined and the qualities were compared with ASTM D6751 and EN 14214. Results showed that the refined WUO properties were in line with property of oil require for biodiesel production. The physicochemical characteristics of the WUO showed physical state of the oil to be liquid/dark brownish at 28oc, viscosity 6.58 cP at 28 0C, acid value, 0.96 (mg KOH/g oil), FFA (% oleic acid), 0.48, iodine value, 152.00 (g I2/100 g oil), peroxide value, 5.1 milli-equivalent of peroxide/kg of oil among others. The derived catalyst showed high basic strength with Calcium oxide (87.63 wt.%) 0s the dominant element in the catalyst. Optimum biodiesel yield was obtained at run 5 with 98.52 (%wt./wt.) at reaction time of 30 min, catalyst amount of 2.0 (%wt.), reaction temperature of 100 0C, and ethanol-oil molar ratio of 4:1. The produced biodiesel properties conformed to the recommended standard ASTM D6751 and EN 14214. The study concluded that WUO could serve as feedstock for biodiesel production that is environmentally friendly and the derived catalyst could be used as a bio-base in catalytic industries.","PeriodicalId":402125,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Engineering and Technology Advances","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127867775","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Test specimens were made with three spot welds and Wohler curves were developed using the uniaxial tensile/traction load adopting the Owen R90C90 method. The spot welds showed an increase in fatigue life and a reduction in the maximum load, similar to steels. The influence of mechanical strength and material thickness tested and the types of fractures that occurred were compared. In low cycle regions, spot welds showed greater dispersion at maximum loading, between the different materials, and in higher cycle regions, this dispersion was reduced. The results obtained by adopting this method using three spot welds showed greater repeatability and less variation between the specimens of the same material. This developed method can be used with increased reliability to develop automotive bodies and spot welded components.","PeriodicalId":402125,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Engineering and Technology Advances","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132480635","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Topological index is a numerical descriptor of a molecule; it is found that there is strong correlation between the properties of chemical compounds and their molecular structure based on a specific topological feature of the corresponding molecular graph. The S-index of a graph is defined as the sum of five of the degree of vertices of a graph. In this paper, we introduce a new invariant of a graph which is identified as S-coindex. We study some basic mathematical properties and different types of graph operations like as Join, Cartesian Product, Composition, Tensor Product, Strong Product, Disjunction, Symmetric Difference, Corona Product of graphs.","PeriodicalId":402125,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Engineering and Technology Advances","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134021807","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our private information may be violated when communications media are used, to achieve information security this paper was based on a new technique of steganography using cryptography, color model and genetic algorithm. First, the secret text was encrypted with the advanced encryption standard (AES) algorithm. Second, the hiding was applied in two stages. First, the cover-image was converted in to the hue saturation intensity (HSI) color model and select one of the models, then divide it into a group of blocks and hiding the text in them by using least significant bit (LSB) method on specified bytes randomly, then using the genetic algorithm that calculates peak signal-to-noise-ratio (PSNR) for all blocks after the hiding process and thus obtain the best value for PSNR for the optimal block. Second, includes the final hiding of all blocks based on the results of the first stage of the best random distribution of bytes according to the results of the genetic algorithm. The PSNR and mean square error (MSE) measures were adopted to prove the accuracy and efficiency of the results.","PeriodicalId":402125,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Engineering and Technology Advances","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133266577","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a series of chemical reactions during which organic material is decomposed through the metabolic pathways of naturally occurring microorganisms in an oxygen-depleted environment. Recently, anaerobic digestion (AD) has been recognized as one of the best options for treating food waste/cattle rumen mixtures since it results in two valuable final products, biogas and digestate that may be utilized for electricity production and as soil fertilizer, respectively. However, putting the digestate directly into the soil may bring environmental concerns because they contain certain pathogens and heavy metals which could be detrimental to plant and human health when consumed as food. The experimental study carried out in this project has shown that heavy metals contained in food waste/cattle rumen mixtures can be removed using indigenous microbes (Bacillus spp and Penicellium spp). From the results of the experiment carried out, it was deduced that bioremediation is effective in removing heavy metals from AD sludge. This finding is of special importance because this means that digestate can be freely used as manure without worrying about plants absorbing dangerous heavy metals which are more than their allowable limit from the soil. The use of indigenous microbes is cheap since they are readily available in the digestate.","PeriodicalId":402125,"journal":{"name":"Global Journal of Engineering and Technology Advances","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127035434","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
