Desde la perspectiva de los estudios culturales, se consideran los discursos sociales que relacionan la feminidad y la masculini-dad con el matrimonio y la maternidad/paternidad, y se realiza un análisis textual interpretativo de una muestra de series televisivas para discutir las ideas dominantes que circulan en la sociedad japonesa acerca del creciente número de personas solteras. It is divided into two main sec-tions: (1) a religious one where I will cover the most significant elements, and the ideological context of what was the most decisive cultural force in the formation of the new country ?Puritanism?; and (2) another that succinctly describes the particular shape that enlightened thought acquired in that part of the British Empire.A description of eighteenth-century Puritan North America requires a closer look at the ver-sion of Calvinism prevalent in the Northeastern seaboard, and therein to the cultural phenomenon of religious revivalism. Previous research has been conducted from different perspectives explaining the spatial distribution and agglomeration of Japanese enterprises in host countries; however, studies that employ measurements of spatial clustering for Japanese firms are still scarce. For the present research, a unique spatial georeferenced database of Japanese automotive suppliers was created to identify the clustering patterns of firms. The results suggest that Japanese automotive supplier firms in Mexico favor spatial proximity. Se pretende comprender si con las preferencias encontradas en estas organizaciones (en sus páginas web, en declaraciones a la prensa y en entrevista realizada por el autor de este texto) se acercan o alejan de la histórica y conservadora coalición pro-crecimiento del régimen de bien-estar coreano, frente a la más reciente coalición redistributiva.El artículo se divide en cinco partes, además de la introducción teórica e histórica: una contextual sobre desigualdad, bienestar y élites en Corea del Sur; una segunda sobre organizaciones empresa-riales y bienestar en Corea del Sur: la Federation of Korean Industries y la Korea Enterprises Fede-ration; una tercera que aborda organizaciones em-presariales y bienestar en Corea del Sur: economía política y protección laboral; una cuarta acerca de organizaciones empresariales y bienestar en Corea del Sur: las políticas sociales; y una quinta con las conclusiones. En el artículo se concluye que las organizaciones empresariales estudiadas continúan con las proposiciones centrales de la coalición pro-crecimiento, aunque sin mostrar una visión residual de las políticas sociales. The following situations were analyzed: the state of the Genki book used in the CELEX programs of the University of Guadalajara, the students’ English knowledge status needed to work with the material, and what CELEX teachers should consider when adapting, re-purposing, and/ or replacing this textbook in their classes. These issues were tackled through a qualitative kind of research as both a case study and a need analysis evaluation (from which an online survey was applied to know the students’ opinions in certain topics). El desarrollo de internet en China ha sido rápido y completo, no únicamente en términos de cantidad de usuarios y recursos de información en red, sino también en términos de desarrollo industrial e innovación. La evolución de internet ha traído grandes cambios a la sociedad china; en general ha aumentado el acceso a la información y el fortalecimiento de la comunicación. No obstante, junto con la promesa del desarrollo, se derivan posibilidades de riesgo inherentes a la ubicuidad del ciberespacio. Es precisamente el objetivo central de este libro conjunto, dilucidar cuáles son los puntos y contrapuntos de la seguridad en el ciberespacio y sus implicaciones políticas, económicas y sociales. This reform, based on the gold standard, could not be alien to the current trade flows in Asia and the Pacific area, based on the silver coin and especially in the Mexican peso, so it retained the emissions of yen milled in silver for the commerce with the foreign powers.
