The designed control law combines a continuous second-order sliding mode control (CSOSMC), the Fuzzy-Chebyshev network (FCN) and the adaptive control methodology. The FCN with adaptive parameters is exploited to approximate the nonlinear functions and improve the robustness against parametric uncertainties and external disturbances. Otherwise, the continuous sliding mode aims to completely eliminate the chattering phenomenon. The stability of the quadrotor attitude control system is proven by the Lyapunov stability approach. The simulation results demonstrate the capability and efficiency of the proposed technique in the presence of uncertainties and external disturbances.","PeriodicalId":401063,"journal":{"name":"020 1st International Conference on Communications, Control Systems and Signal Processing (CCSSP)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125035491","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The structure is based on an undoped In$_{x} Ga_{1} x$ N as channel layer and an undopped back-barrier layer of B$_{x} Ga_{1-x}$N. The thickness of the channel layer has been fixed at 10 nm and we change the indium content in the alloy In$_{x} Ga_{1-x}$N of the channel layer, 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% to get a channel layer only with nitride indium (InN). Some DC and AC performances of the transistor are simulated for each indium concentration.The increase of indium concentration in the In$_{x} Ga_{1-x}$N channel significantly improves the performances due to its excellent electrical properties and deep quantum well, and the introduction of resistive material B$_{x} Ga_{1-x}$N as back barrier layer with 1% of boron concentration serves to improve the performances due to better confinement of (2DEG) two dimensional electron gas. With 20 nm gate length, the transistor demonstrates a maximum drain-source current (Ids) of 1.2 A/mm, a maximum transconductance (gm) of 425 mS mm$^{-1}$, a gate-leakage current of 3.10$^{-9}$ A, a cut-off frequency (Ft) of 850 GHz, and a maximum oscillation frequency (Fmax) of 1.5 THz.","PeriodicalId":401063,"journal":{"name":"020 1st International Conference on Communications, Control Systems and Signal Processing (CCSSP)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115247998","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The unit cell shows Double NeGative (DNG) characteristics in S-Band and Epsilon NeGative (ENG) in C-Band frequency. The characteristics of the proposed unit cell are studied with the popular FR-4 substrate and also with the Rogers RT6010 substrate that exhibits a higher dielectric constant. A comparison of the unit cell characteristics in 1×2, 2×2 and 3×3 array structures is made, to validate the performance of the split ring resonators (SRR) as a metamaterial. The reflection and transmission parameters of the unit cell are obtained using commercially available package CST software; then the EM properties are extracted using the smiths’ method. The proposed unit named bowtie cell can find potential use in satellite communication systems.","PeriodicalId":401063,"journal":{"name":"020 1st International Conference on Communications, Control Systems and Signal Processing (CCSSP)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115517682","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method control chooses the switching state of the inverter that minimizes a cost function based on the error between active and reactive powers prediction to their reference values for eight voltage vectors. The optimal voltage vector that minimizes a predefined cost function is then applied to control the inverter. As in power converters control, one of the major challenges is the reduction of the switching frequency. It is important, in many applications, to be able to control or limit the number of commutations thereby the switching frequency of the converter switches. Simulation results are presented to validate the effectiveness of the method.","PeriodicalId":401063,"journal":{"name":"020 1st International Conference on Communications, Control Systems and Signal Processing (CCSSP)","volume":"100 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116164849","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main purpose is to ensure the ongoing availability of energy for supplying the load. Meanwhile, guarantee a maximum of stability during perturbations of production and Partial Shading (PS) conditions. The interfaced power electronic converters for the Photovoltaic Generator (PVG) and battery are controlled separately. To harvest the maximum power from the PVG and control the boost converter, a Hill Climbing-Particle Swarm optimization (HC-PSO) is used. A double PI control loop is designed to manage the bidirectional buck-boost converter interfacing the battery storage to the load side. The aim of this latter is to maintain the delivered power to the load under varying weather conditions. Simulations are performed using MATLAB/Simulink. Then, three cases are considered to be analyzed for assessing the consistency of the MA: (1) under standard conditions when the rated power is sufficient to charge the battery and supply the load; (2) under fast varying irradiance conditions and (3) under PS. The results confirm the reliability and effectiveness of the proposed MA in controlling stand-alone PV systems.","PeriodicalId":401063,"journal":{"name":"020 1st International Conference on Communications, Control Systems and Signal Processing (CCSSP)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114687555","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, this paper examines the effectiveness of DWT and MUSIC techniques to detect the BRBs in a three-phase SCIM.
