In the present investigation four components were taken into account to model the flow power, the flow power due to the viscous stress of the fluid, the additional flow power due to mixing effects in the pipe, the non-stationary flow power and the flow power necessary to overcome potential energy changes. For the identification of the coefficients of the theoretical empirical model, it was experimented with temperature variations from 40 to 65 oC, for diameters 0,2 and 0,3 m; where it was simulated taking the flow rate with the average value of 0,925, being considered a pseudoplastic fluid. In its simpler model a CubeSat , consists of a cubic nanosatellite with less than 1,33 kg and 10 cm of edge. The present work was done computational simulations using the finite element method since computational simulations are cheaper to do vibration tests. It was carried out modal analyses comparing five CubeSat structures, where it was evaluated the presence of electronic board (without electronic elements), static loads, two different aluminum alloys, and the influence of additional mass in the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). CAD software was used for the structures’ design following the CubeSat specifications, and all the simulations were carried out in a finite element software, in a range of 0 to 1000 Hz. It was designed one structure to do initial simulations, followed by the design of 4 structures more adjusted to the CubeSat requirements. In the end, results showed the influences of each present condition on the satellite. It was noticed that influences of the load in the vibration shape and less than 2% in other results. Ethylene glycol ricinoleate (REG) was synthesized, characterized, and introduced in the first stage of the PUU reaction. The characterization of the modified PUU5R product was carried out employing Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and mechanical tests in traction mode. Through FTIR, it was possible to identify characteristic modes for the PUU and PUU5R. The most relevant modifications of the modification on the -CO vibrational mode located at 1630 and 3440 cm –1 corresponding to the vibrational mode of the -NH group free of bonding hydrogen that indicates an increase in the hydrogen bonds of the urea group and a reduction in the urethane group of the modified product, and by NMR the -CH proton of the ricinoleate unsaturation in 5.4 ppm of the PUU5R was detected verifying its incorporation in the PUU. Through DSC thermal tests, a reduction in cold crystallization and an increase in the Tg of the product were established due to the structural change caused by the pendant group of ricinoleate. However, TGA thermograms do not show relevant changes in its thermal stability. This study focuses on the leaf springs, a classic mechanism; leaf springs are still being extensively used in several types of vehicles because of their high load capacity and low manufacturing and maintenance costs. Its dynamic behavior assesses stationary nonlinear preload state components to provide considerable added value to this suspension type. This assessment considers the contact condition of the suspension’s components and the large deflections and tightening torques observed in the whole assembly. Furthermore, the components of the non-suspended mass subsystems, such as tires, shock absorbers, and stabilizer bars, are characterized according to the simplified models for reducing their computational cost. In addition, a commercial test vehicle is used for simulating the complete system using three-dimensional modeling for describing its most relevant components in terms of their mass and rigid connection. The vehicle is additionally analyzed using multibody system simulations (MBS) coupled with the finite element method (FEM) in an implicit nonlinear transient environment using the ANSYS APDL solver. Due to its low density and high specific strength, magnesium alloys represent a promising alternative to aluminum alloys and high strength steels, especially for applications in the automobile industry, being used in structural components to reduce weight and, consequently, improve performance fuel efficiency. In recent decades, several tests were conducted to evaluate the formability of AZ31 and showed its high dependency on the temperature range. The main objective of the present study is to propose a fuzzy model to predict the limit drawing ratio (LDR) of an AZ31 sheet by varying its thickness, temperature, and speed in wide ranges. In order to validate the proposed model, comparisons were made with 6 studies performed by other authors –an amount of 46 experimental tests–, showing a very good agreement between experimental results and fuzzy results.
