Gang, Tang Haoye, Liang Chunhua, Zeng Qing","doi":"10.3724/SP.J.1145.2013.00286","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3724/SP.J.1145.2013.00286","url":null,"abstract":"An ozone free-air control enrichment(O3-FACE) experiment was conducted in 2011 to study the effects of O3 and high nitrogen(N) supply on dry matter production and distribution of rice.Two cultivars,Shanyou 63(SY63,three-line hybrid indica cultivar) and Yangdao 6(YD6,inbred indica cultivar),were investigated.The results showed:(1) Elevated O3 concentration significantly reduced the biomass of stems and foliages in the mid-filling stage by 30.20%,21.95% for SY63 and 21.71%,11.12% for YD6,respectively,due to the significant decrease of the net photosynthetic rate.O3 exposure also significantly reduced the yield,the biomass of roots and panicles in the harvesting stage by 45.75%,48.62%,37.15% for SY63,and 28.91%,35.22%,28.01% for YD6,respectively.Increasing N supply could mitigate O3-induced reduction of the net photosynthetic rate,the dry matter and yield,where the yield and biomass of stems,foliages,roots and panicles were changed by elevated O3only by-26.88%,-13.52%,-5.84%,-26.33%,-16.19% for SY63,and-12.68%,-16.26%,+5.19%,-14.55%,-20.22% for YD6,respectively;(2) In SY63 and YD6 exposed to O3,the root-shoot ratio and root dry matter distribution in whole plant decreased significantly,and the ratio of foliage dry matter distribution increased significantly,but there was no significant effect on the ratio of stem or panicle dry matter distribution.High N supply could increase the ratio of root or foliage dry matter and the root-shoot ratio at O3-FACE treatments;(3) O3 exposure could reduce N accumulation of SY63 and YD6,which would show upward trends after high N treatments.These results implied that increasing N supply could mitigate O3-induced changes in dry matter production and distribution of SY63 and YD6.","PeriodicalId":39895,"journal":{"name":"应用与环境生物学报","volume":"19 1","pages":"286-292"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69808658","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Fu","doi":"10.3724/SP.J.1145.2013.00444","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3724/SP.J.1145.2013.00444","url":null,"abstract":"For understanding whether or not Musca domestica has an ability to hydrolyze cellulose,the activities and characteristics of cellulases from M.domestica were examined with the 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid(DNSA) method.Then the composition and activity change of M.domestica cellulases were investigated during its development.The results showed that M.domestica in the different developmental stages had the filter paper enzyme activity,the activity-range being 0.85(± 0.035) IU mg-1to 10.45(± 0.050) IU mg-1.The cellulase components included β-glucosidase(BG),endo-β-1,4 glucanase(EG) and exoβ-1,4-glucanase(CBH),which were detected with the special substrate of 1% salicin,1% carboxymethylcellulose(CMC) and 1% microcrystalline cellulose(MCC),respectively.Under the condition of pH 5.6,for the three enzymes,the optimum reaction temperature and time were 50 ℃ and 60 min.They had good heat stability in vitro when being kept in 50 ℃ for 1 hour.Activity of the cellulases increased gradually with its development(P 0.05).The lowest enzyme activity showed in the ovule stage and the highest enzymatic activity in the imago stage.At the optimum reaction condition,the activities of BG,EG and CBH were 7.96(± 0.065) IU mg-1,9.76(± 0.080) IU mg-1 and 10.86(± 0.091) IU mg-1 respectively.The CBH activity was the highest,and the BG the lowest in M.domestica life cycle.With increasing crude fiber in the forage of M.domestica larvae,cellulase activity of the third instar larvae was also increased(P 0.05),without a significant deviation of mean weight and stem length of the third instar larvae compared to the control group(P 0.05).The results suggested a complete enzyme system of cellulases in M.domestica and a close relationship between the enzyme activity level and the development of M.domestica.","PeriodicalId":39895,"journal":{"name":"应用与环境生物学报","volume":"19 1","pages":"444-448"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69809646","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
