Combining these two technologies allows for the creation of a hybrid tomography system that uses novel algorithms to monitor the lower urinary tract. The information obtained from this system is intended to be used to detect diseases early and present them to medical personnel to contribute to diagnosing and detecting diseases. Methods: The UST system utilizes beamforming technology to focus and steer ultrasound waves to produce images of the body's internal organs and tissues. The EIT system uses low-frequency electrical currents to image the body's electrical conductivity. Combining these two technologies allows for a hybrid tomography system that uses novel algorithms to monitor the lower urinary tract. Findings: The information obtained from the hybrid tomography system is intended to be used to detect diseases early and present them to medical personnel to contribute to diagnosing and detecting diseases. The system is expected to be particularly useful for detecting diseases related to the lower urinary tract.","PeriodicalId":396821,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Interdisciplinary PhD Workshop (IIPhDW)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121786570","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, a two-year lasting field test has been done. In the test, the vehicle was driven for about 60,000 km on all sorts of regular roads. The driven distance and energy consumption for driving and charging were recorded for every driving cycle. Out of these data seasonal consumption differences, charging losses, battery degradation and statistical operating data of daily usage have been determined.","PeriodicalId":396821,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Interdisciplinary PhD Workshop (IIPhDW)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128212574","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Existing plants are often not adequately digitized to identify unnecessary excess consumption. The overall goal of the project described in this work is the development of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based diagnostic technique for those systems. Our intended system will allow the evaluation of the performance of HVAC systems with as few additional measurement points as possible. The main contributions of this paper are (a) a comparison of different cloud providers, (b) a description of the architecture of the system, and (c) an initial evaluation of the value added to the case study enterprise by the system in use.","PeriodicalId":396821,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Interdisciplinary PhD Workshop (IIPhDW)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121647619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Public-key Encryption (PKE), Key-establishment Mechanisms (KEM), and Digital Signature Algorithms (DSA) are necessary cryptographic mechanisms to use common encryption communication through insecure or untrusted networks. This paper proposes a provably quantum-resilient secure key agreement mechanism based on the most promising lattice-based cryptographic scheme and the Module Learning-with-Rounding (MLWR) problem. The main contribution of this paper is to construct a modified framework on classical computers for study and test-bed purposes.","PeriodicalId":396821,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Interdisciplinary PhD Workshop (IIPhDW)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116763769","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The BSPM signal is in a form of time series form 102 channels located around the chest. The time series are then transformed to time windows to allow recognition of heart diseases. The several options of neural network structures were compared: one-dimensional convolutional neural network, Long-Short-Term Memory neural network, and Gated Recurrent Unit neural network. The article showcases different convolutional and recurrent neural network architectures for recognizing patterns in biomedical time series measured with Body Surface Potential Mapping. The study compared three types of neural network structures: Long-Short-Term Memory neural network, Gated Recurrent Unit neural network, and one-dimensional convolutional neural network. The main goal of paper is to find optimal machine learning solution for heart disease recognition on the basis of BSPM signal. The best results are obtained using model with GRU layer.","PeriodicalId":396821,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Interdisciplinary PhD Workshop (IIPhDW)","volume":"108 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127673407","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of our work will therefore be to first study the concept of the blue economy and its main characteristics, as well as the socio-economic/environmental role it represents on Moroccan territory; subsequently we intend to deal with the experience of Morocco as an actor involved in this strategic dynamic; which could contribute to the development of this sustainable and inclusive blue economy. The research employs the method of document analysis from the deductive and inductive perspectives. The research findings allow for a conclusion that the implementation of certain institutional reforms within the framework of the new development model, with a partnership approach will make it possible to define the contractual relations and the sharing of responsibilities, in order to be able to assess the impact of these on the strengthening of Moroccan potential and to support research and development actions which are adapted to the specificities of the different territories, and consequently to ensure the economic and social development of the country through better development of the resource and more rigorous management of its scarcity for current and future generations.","PeriodicalId":396821,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Interdisciplinary PhD Workshop (IIPhDW)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129523790","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, these dampers have the disadvantage that the entire system with pendulum and damper is a technically complex and expensive construction. One alternative is the Tuned Liquid Sloshing Damper (TLSD). The advantage of the lower technical effort is offset by the disadvantages of non-adjustable damping and wave breaking at large deflections. To increase the effectiveness, it is necessary to further develop the TLSD so that the degree of damping can be precisely adjusted and the non-linear behaviour can be avoided. This can be optimised as follows: Floating particles on the liquid surface ensure that energy is extracted from the system and the sloshing movements of the liquid through internal friction and wall friction subside more quickly. The quantity of particles and other parameters can be used to adjust the level of damping. The surface of the fluid-particle filling can be forced to move almost linearly with an additional lightweight rigid plate placed above the particles. This study investigates the development and metrological investigation of the adjustable damping ratio and sloshing frequency of the Tuned Liquid Particle Damper (TLPD), and the testing of the optimised damper on a 10 m high test tower using sweep and free vibration tests.","PeriodicalId":396821,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Interdisciplinary PhD Workshop (IIPhDW)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134599761","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
