Vovk","doi":"10.37827/ntsh.chem.2022.70.102","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.37827/ntsh.chem.2022.70.102","url":null,"abstract":"The imidazo[2,1-b][1,3]thiazine nucleus, as well as the pyridine-N-oxide fragment, are pharmacophore groups that have received much attention from researchers. That is why the combination of these scaffolds in the structure of a single molecule seems to be quite attractive from chemical and biological point of view. Synthetically available 4-pyridinyloxy-substituted (benzo)imidazo[2,1-b]thiazines were used as precursors to obtain previously unknown (benzo)imidazo[2,1-b][1,3]thiazin-6-yloxypyridine 1-oxides. It was found that the oxidation of the latter with m-chlorobenzoic acid under mild reaction conditions using dichloromethane as a solvent at room temperature proceeds smoothly and selectively to obtain only the target products. The composition and structure of the synthesized pyridine-N-oxides are unambiguously confirmed by complex physicochemical analysis, particularly by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, chromato-mass spectrometry, as well as elemental analysis data. The antiexudative activity of (benz)imidazo[2,1-b][1,3]thiazin-6-yloxypyridine 1-oxides was studied in vivo in a model of carrageenan-induced paw edema in white outbred male rats. The development of edema was considered from increasing the volume of the paw 4 hours after the introduction of carrageenan. Quantitative assessment of antiexudative activity was performed by the degree of reduction of rat paw edema, and the rate of suppression of the inflammatory process was calculated. Performed bioscreening showed that the synthesized pyridine-N-oxides are characterized by weak anti-inflammatory activity, and only 2-chloro-4-[(2,3-diphenyl-6,7-dihydro-5H-imidazo[2,1-b][1,3]thiazin-6-yl)oxy]pyridine 1-oxide 2a has moderate antiexudative effect with of inflammatory inhibition rate of 31.9%. This compound is thus of interest for further structural modification in order to obtain potential non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents. It is important to note that the presence in the structure of the synthesized derivatives 2a-e of N-oxide fragment is very promising for the design of anti-inflammatory agents, which are characterized by the absence of side effects caused by inhibition of cyclooxygenase-1.","PeriodicalId":396581,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Shevchenko Scientific Society. The main reasons for studying the formation of students’ health culture as a pedagogical problem are outlined. Theoretical and methodological aspects of forming the foundations of students’ health culture in higher education institutions are analyzed. Criteria, basic principles and conditions of formation of bases of culture of health of students, ways of their realization in educational process are proved. The study defines the culture of students’ health as a component of general and professional culture, which includes values of health, knowledge of one's own body, skillful and rational use of its capabilities, environmental awareness, demonstrates student readiness for a healthy lifestyle, desire for self-knowledge. self-preservation, development and self-improvement, successful self-realization in personal life and professional activity, etc. The formation of a culture of students’ health as nurturing in student youth such personal and professional qualities that contribute to maintaining and strengthening health through the achievement of sustainable ideas about health as the highest value, increase motivation to lead a healthy lifestyle, increase responsibility for their health and the health of others, encourage the constant growth of professional competence by updating health-preserving knowledge. The results of experimental research are given. An anonymous survey was conducted among master’s degree students of the Faculty of Chemistry (39 people), its results were analyzed and summarized. The survey showed that 100 % of respondents understand the importance of maintaining their own health. In particular, 48.7 % of respondents follow the rules of nutrition, 46.2 % properly organize training and recreation, 43.6 % of students regularly play sports and follow a daily routine. At the same time, 20.5 % of students do nothing to maintain their health. Students' self-assessment of the level of formation of their health culture showed a significant increase in this indicator during studies at the Faculty of Chemistry (manifestation of sufficient and high levels in students of I and II–IV courses, master's degree was 48.7 %; 74.3 %; 82.1 %).","PeriodicalId":396581,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Shevchenko Scientific Society. The general physical properties of REE, the history of their discovery, the main natural resources and general applications are highlighted. The criteria by which REE belong to critical raw materials (deficit risk factor, economic importance) are considered. Europe, erbium and dysprosium have the highest vulnerability to supply constraints at the global level. The world's largest producer of REE by a wide margin from competitors is China (in 2021, about 168000 metric tons of rare earth oxides were mined). Ukraine has significant resources of rare earth metals, although it does not produce them. Here are known deposits of both traditional types associated with carbonates (Novo-Poltava) and Mariupolites (Oktyabrske) and non-traditional: rich zirconium and rare earth-zirconium ores of non-core siesites (Azov and Yastrebetske). Ores of most deposits of Ukraine belong to the poor, which are difficult to attract into operation. The structure of REE use has changed significantly over the past 20 years. If in the 90s of the twentieth century about one-third of resources were used for polishing glass and making ceramics, today this segment is occupied by permanent magnets of various applications. Rare earth magnets have become virtually indispensable in a wide range of strategic industries such as aerospace, automotive, electronic, medical and military industries. REE is actively used for high-efficiency engines of hybrid-electric vehicles and in wind power. Attention is focused on REE recycling technologies. Onlyabout 1% of RSM is processed from final products, and the rest is taken out of waste and removed from the material cycle. The main ways of recovery are hydrometallurgical and pyrometalurgical methods, as well as phytoextraction. In the work, experimental studies were carried out and qualitative IR spectral analysis and quantitative calculation of IR curves based on the results of the study of industrial samples of flame retardants based on Sb2O3 were performed. Based on the analysis of the IR spectrum, new organic substances were identified in the Sb2O3 samples. Additional thermal decomposition of all samples by DTA analysis for all samples of Sb2O3 flame retardants begins to lose volatile substances and moisture at 50–80°C, while losses at 500–530°C can reach from 1.97% to 3.7% for 4 samples. Your flame retardant samples, based on X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy, on a diffractometer, as it was determined, consist of two phases, two inorganic components, namely antimony trioxide – Sb2O3 and an additional component of microcrystalline calcium carbonate – CaCO3 with impurities of organic substances, in appropriate quantities . Therefore, in such systems, over time, due to the strong van der Waals forces of attraction between individual nanotubes, aggregation of filler particles takes place. It leads to a transition from the nano to the micro level of their structural organization. This transition significantly affects the complex of functional properties of polymer nanocomposites filled with carbon nanotubes (CNTs). Therefore, the development of new approaches to the stabilization of nanoparticles in order to prevent their aggregation to create nanocomposite materials with improved functional characteristics is an actual task. The work is devoted to the study of the influence of non-covalent modification of carbon nanotubes on the degree of their distribution in the polymer matrix of polyethylene glycol. The peculiarities of CNT distribution of two types were studied: unmodified and non-covalently modified nanotubes. It was found that unmodified CNTs contained hydroxyl, carboxyl and lactone groups on the surface. The presence of these groups on the surface of CNTs allowed for their noncovalent modification. The analysis of microscopic images revealed that the modified CNTs are more evenly distributed in the polymer matrix than the unmodified nanotubes, which can be explained by the different nature of the interaction between the polymer matrix and the CNT. It is shown that for systems containing modified CNTs, a higher value of fractal dimension is observed, which indicates the formation of more fluffy aggregates with CNTs, while unmodified CNTs tend to form denser aggregates. Modification of CNTs with PEG is a promising method to increase the degree of distribution of nanotubes in the polymer matrix, which will significantly improve the properties of such nanocomposite materials.","PeriodicalId":396581,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Shevchenko Scientific Society. The thermal decomposition of peroxide groups in macromolecules is well described by the first-order kinetic equation of rate. During the decomposition of O–O groups of polymers containing peroxide groups in the main chain, a decrease in the degree of polymerization of polymers is observed. The solvent in which the process takes place and the nature of the polymer-matrix, which contains peroxide groups, affects the rate of decomposition of peroxide groups and the degree of degradation of polymer macromolecules. The need to create an organic magnet is due to a number of expected advantages, such as lightness, transparency, flexibility, ability to switch under the influence of light (magneto-optics), or chemical influences (sensors), creation of modern toners for digital printing, materials for chemical power sources etc. To understand the mechanism of biological processes, in particular, human thinking and DNA functioning may help to study the state of spin glass, biomagnetism, the mechanism of action of paramagnetic probes in living tissues and others. In the present paper the peculiarities of the structure and magnetic behavior of the iron complex with 1-nitroso-2-naphthol Na[Fe(C10H6(NO2)3] have been studied. The powder X-ray diffraction method determined that the crystal structure of the complex is monoclinic with the space group P2/1. According to cyclic voltammetry, the electrochemical behavior of the complex anion Fe(C10H6(NO2)3] is characteristic of reversible electrochemical systems with one electron transfer. Optical absorption bands are observed in the electronic spectra of the complex at 389, 690, and 763 nm. The dependences of the magnetic susceptibility of the complex on the temperature, frequency and magnetic field strength in the temperature range 1.5–200 K in the external magnetic field up to 90 kE and in the frequency range from 95 to 2000 Hz are obtained and analyzed. At low temperatures, the peculiarities of magnetic behavior characteristic of the state of spin glass are revealed. The EPR spectrum of the complex is a superposition of two lines, the behavior of which is opposite when the temperature changes in the range of 4–293 K, which indicates the unusual dynamics of the molecular surrounding the Fe3+ ion. Such features may be due to the presence of two structurally inhomogeneous magnetic centers that exhibit opposite spin dynamics with changing temperature. Byts","doi":"10.37827/ntsh.chem.2022.70.138","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.37827/ntsh.chem.2022.70.138","url":null,"abstract":"Pure titanium oxide (TiO2(ng)) and modified with potassium fluoride with different percentage of dopant: 2, 7, 15% (TiO2(2F), TiO2(7F), TiO2(15F), respectively) samples were synthesized by low-temperature sol-gel method. The morphology and particle size of pure titanium(IV) oxide (TiO2(ng)) and titanium(IV) oxide doped with potassium fluoride (TiO2(2F)) were investigated by scanning electron microscopy method. It was found that the doping with potassium fluoride does not have a significant effect on the shape of the particles, but allows to narrow the particle size distribution. X-ray phase and X-ray structural analyzes of the obtained TiO2 samples showed that the predominant phases of pure TiO2 were rutile and brookite, and only anatase contained in TiO2 doped with KF. The porous structure of the synthesized TiO2 samples was studied by the method of low-temperature nitrogen adsorption-desorption. It was found that the all obtained TiO2 samples belonged to porous adsorbents, the adsorption of which carried out monolayer. The adsorption properties of the obtained TiO2 samples were investigated using a model pollutant, phenol. It was found that the best adsorption properties showed TiO2(2F) sample at all three concentrations of pollutant. The maximum adsorption degree of phenol with an initial concentration of 3.125 mg/dm3 (18%) was achieved by TiO2(2F) sample; with an initial phenol concentration of 6.25 mg/dm3 was 21.5%, and at an initial phenol concentration of 12.5 mg/dm3 it was 42%. The highest photocatatical activity was shown by the sample of low-doped fluorine TiO2, in the presence of which phenol was decomposed by 68%.","PeriodicalId":396581,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Shevchenko Scientific Society.
