The speed-in-action problem of an object's control described by the Mathieu equation is solved under conditions of limited longitudinal control action. A numerical method for calculating the switching times of piecewise constant control under conditions of a stable mode of the structure's oscillations is proposed. Its implementation includes two stages. At the first stage the transition to fuzzy description is performed. A nonlinear system is replaced by the equivalent Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model. This allows describing the behavior of the initial system in the given area of the phase space via a set of linear models weighted by membership functions. At the second stage the reachability sets of the system are estimated on the basis of generalization of the method of invariant ellipsoids. Canonical decomposition for elements of the function state space is used to replace the initial infinite-dimensional problem by the stabilization problem for a system of ordinary differential equations with periodic coefficients. Matrices of controller and observer were synthesized by using the method of linear matrix inequalities (LMI) with placing poles of a closed-loop system in a LMI-region. The state of the system is unknown, but there is an equation of measurement in discrete times. The initial state and disturbances are restricted by joint integral constraints. According to measurements, the information set is introduced that contains the true state of the system. The preliminary aim of control consists in minimization of the terminal criterion depending of the information set. We suggest some statements of the problem based on the separation of control and observation processes. The optimal instants of transition from estimation to control are looked for as well.
