Based on the basic theory and algorithm of mathematical morphology, self-adaptive multi-scale weight morphological operator was advanced and used in the defect identification of wood products X-ray computed tomography image. As can be seen in the experimental analysis, compared with the traditional edge detection algorithm, self-adaptive multi-scale weight morphological operator had the characteristics of a high degree of detection and identification accuracy in wood products edge detection. Wood Products non-destructive testing real-time imaging hardware and wood products real-time imaging image processing software system were built in the study. And self-adaptive multi-scale weight morphological operator was used to edge detection of wood products X-ray image. The achievements in the study realized the real-time online detection of wood products X-ray computed tomography image, and improved the detection accuracy of defects in the image. They have a wide range of applications in the quality identification of wood board and defects detection in the logs.","PeriodicalId":393739,"journal":{"name":"2010 IEEE International Conference on Automation and Logistics","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-09-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125299465","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to solve the difficulty, an active disturbance rejection nonlinear control strategy is proposed, and the genetic algorithm is used to modify parameters of ADRC online which improve the ADRC's adaptive capacity. A ship main engine optimal ADRC controller is designed. The simulation results of ship main engine (ME) speed tracking and keeping show that the controller has good adaptabilities on the system nonlinearity and strong robustness to parameter perturbations of the ship and environmental disturbances. And the speed switching is fast and smooth, thus achieved high-accurate ship ME speed control.","PeriodicalId":393739,"journal":{"name":"2010 IEEE International Conference on Automation and Logistics","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-09-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114921586","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A novel intelligent optimized dynamic scheduling method, integrating intelligent sequencing with dynamic dispatching, is proposed (abbreviated as ODC). ODC includes three sub-algorithms, i.e., a Partheno-Genetic Algorithm (PGA) to obtain optimized sequencing plan, a dispatching rule (DR) to achieve dynamic dispatching solution and a coordination algorithm (CA) to integrate PGA with DR. A simplistic model, but with essential characteristics of semiconductor wafer fabs, is used to verify and validate the efficiency of ODC. It is shown that ODC is superior to PGA, DR and FIFO with better performance of mean cycle time (MCT), makespan and on-time delivery (OTD) under uncertain environments.","PeriodicalId":393739,"journal":{"name":"2010 IEEE International Conference on Automation and Logistics","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-09-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129614282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition to the recognition of wood internal defects, computed tomography technology can be applied to wood nondestructive testing. In the paper the range of CT number in different wood tomography slices can be calculated in statistic method, and then the parameters of CT window level and window width in wood testing procedure are set to get good visual image. Wood density, which has close relationship with other properties in the wood, is vital in wood physical properties testing. The regression curve between CT number and wood density is modeled. A conventional fuzzy logic system (FLS) is used to approximate the control gain function, and a FLS with variable universes of discourse, which has the characteristic of high fuzzy output precision with only one adjusting parameter, is used to approximate a ideal controller. A novel fuzzy approximation theorem is introduced to solve the problem of unknown control gain function in direct AFC scheme. Both adaptive laws of conventional FLS and variable universe FLS are derived by virtue of the Lyapunov stability theorem. Under the assumption that the total approximation error is bounded, it is proved that the closed-loop system not only is stable in sense that all variables are bounded, but also achieves the H∞ tracking performance and the tracking error convergence. Simulation example is demonstrated to confirm the effectiveness of this approach.","PeriodicalId":393739,"journal":{"name":"2010 IEEE International Conference on Automation and Logistics","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-09-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126437633","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These languages offer the possibility to declare robotic-specific data types, to specify simple motions, and to interact with tools and sensors via I/O operations. While tailored to the underlying robot controller, they usually only offer a fixed and controller-specific set of possible instructions. The specification of complex motions, the synchronization of cooperating robots and the advanced use of sensors is often very difficult or not even feasible. To overcome these limitations, this paper presents a generic and extensible interface for industrial robots, the Realtime Primitives Interface, as part of a larger software architecture. It allows a flexible specification of complex control instructions and can facilitate the development of sustainable robot controllers. The advantages of this approach are illustrated with several examples.","PeriodicalId":393739,"journal":{"name":"2010 IEEE International Conference on Automation and Logistics","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-09-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127820248","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
