The purpose of the system is to establish a base for an impartial and computer-aided decision-making tool for choice of information system software and / or its provider, for evaluation of computerization projects and for validation of existing information systems. In the paper we present the system model, the implemented features and the algorithm used for calculation of product scores feasibility query.","PeriodicalId":392003,"journal":{"name":"27th International Conference on Information Technology Interfaces, 2005.","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2005-08-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134341585","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The challenge to this community is the ability to adapt to new business requirements in an effective manner, utilizing their network of capabilities in a flexible, dynamic way. A semantic approach to discovery can be used in a pragmatic, practical manner. The use of richer explicit knowledge, that is system readable, provides the basis for discovering capabilities on this exemplar Business Grid—“the grid of services”. This design research project focuses on the utilization of disparate knowledge during discovery.","PeriodicalId":392003,"journal":{"name":"27th International Conference on Information Technology Interfaces, 2005.","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2005-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125250582","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We present our solution for a generic HTML to XML conversion. The conversion is done using simple rules specified by the user. By defining these rules the user can divide the document into logical divisions (i.e. heading, body, signature) and achieve the desired output document structure. Our solution requires no programming skills because the script for the conversion is built interactively through a graphical user interface (GUI) and is suitable for all types of users","PeriodicalId":392003,"journal":{"name":"27th International Conference on Information Technology Interfaces, 2005.","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2005-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114255852","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Organisational knowledge as an important element of the entire business knowledge could be systemized, documented and retrieved in business process repository developed by business process modelling tools, within business process change projects. This paper describes an approach that aims to combine business process modelling and knowledge management, portraying the interactions between processes and organisational knowledge. Furthermore, it examines the case study of two Croatian leading banks, analyzing and discussing its practical experience in conducting business process modelling projects as the basis for knowledge management system development.","PeriodicalId":392003,"journal":{"name":"27th International Conference on Information Technology Interfaces, 2005.","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2005-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129958753","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
