The diagnosis is to be suspected on clinical, laboratory, radiological examination and can be confirmed on Dural biopsy. For the management, early diagnosis through relevant clinical history and radiological investigation is required. This case series highlight hypertrophic meningitis as a rare cause of altered mental status and the importance of a comprehensive medical history and examination for the diagnosis of such disease as early diagnosis of such cases and early initiation of the therapy can lead to better outcome. Steroid therapy is given as the first line of management but if patient does not respond to steroid therapy, it may progress to permanent neurological deterioration.","PeriodicalId":391859,"journal":{"name":"International Journal For Multidisciplinary Research","volume":"122 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140985464","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The metaphor of cactus diaspora encapsulates the multifaceted experiences of immigrant and diasporic communities as they navigate the complexities of identity and belonging in new lands. Drawing on the resilience, adaptability, and diversity symbolized by cacti in harsh environments, this article explores the significance of the metaphor in understanding the journeys of individuals and communities across borders. Through an exploration of resilience in the face of challenges, the preservation of cultural identity amidst assimilation, and the balance between rootedness and mobility, we uncover the rich tapestry of experiences that define the cactus diaspora. Real-life examples and case studies illustrate the transformative power of migration and the contributions of diasporic communities to the cultural landscape of host countries. Ultimately, this article reflects on the profound implications of the cactus diaspora metaphor for shaping our understanding of migration, identity, and cultural diversity in an interconnected world.","PeriodicalId":391859,"journal":{"name":"International Journal For Multidisciplinary Research","volume":"104 22","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140986042","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aimed to analyze the most committed errors of Grade 9 students in their spoken discourse. The study utilized the recorded spoken discourse, specifically the extemporaneous speech, of the participants through descriptive analysis to determine the most errors committed by Grade 9 students. The study used prompts or topics related to students' experiences and a researcher-made interview guide. Three raters analyzed the recorded spoken discourse, including the researcher and two other English teachers. The eighteen chosen participants' recorded spoken discourse was chosen as the subject for analysis and evaluation. The study revealed that the most committed errors in a spoken discourse were syntactical errors, morphological errors, and phonological errors. The study revealed that students committed a high percentage of syntactical errors, meaning they still have confusion with regard to the proper application of grammar rules. Therefore, teachers may use engaging and relevant speaking situations to engage students in grammatical exercises, advise students to speak frequently, and emphasize the importance of grammar in speaking.","PeriodicalId":391859,"journal":{"name":"International Journal For Multidisciplinary Research","volume":"96 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140984404","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Agriculture has become unprofitable due to the state's withdrawal of subsidies following the neo-liberal reforms, an increase in cultivation costs, and a drop in profitability. Because of this, farmers frequently turn to non-farm livelihood pursuits to survive. Contract farming has become a viable option in this evolving agricultural landscape for farmers, particularly small and marginal farmers, seeking to increase their income from agriculture. Based on secondary sources the study proposes to examine the conditions, context, and forces that led to the emergence of contract farming which are important in order to understand the current dynamics of agrarian change in India.","PeriodicalId":391859,"journal":{"name":"International Journal For Multidisciplinary Research","volume":"2 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140982572","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
