But the prices of finished function generator sold on market is expensive and not everyone can afford it. In order to create an economic and reliable function generator, microcontroller-based DDS function generator designed. AD9833 is DDS based programmable function generator from Analog Devices, which capable to producing sine, triangular and square wave output. To make an easy to use and flexible function generator, AD9833 connected with 4x4 matrix membrane keypad and LCD 1602. The microcontroller-based DDS function generator successfully created. The waveform generated by AD9833 offers not only exceptional accuracy and stability, but also low phase noise, an excellent frequency change and sudden waveform change ability, its useful in a wide variety of testing applications.","PeriodicalId":39047,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48528318","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This of course can cause pollution. Dust needs to be collected using a Dust Collector (DC) machine. The controller on the DC machine at PT. xxx is often damaged in the control unit and requires repairs at a cost of around Rp. 5,000,000 per unit. In facts there are about 10 units of machines at PT.xxx that must work all. Because of DC machines are often damaged in their controllers, the maintenance department made a development to make replacement DC machine controllers. Namely using the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). This PLC replaces the microcontroller unit on the DC machine, PLC uses ladder diagram programming language that is easily understood by some people working in the world of control. PLC parts that are easily found in the market and programming languages that are easy to understand and reliability make one of the reasons this PLC is used to replace the microcontroller unit.","PeriodicalId":39047,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44020963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With this kind of advancement, the needs to introduce this technology to students at early age has increased. However, many students still consider this kind of technology as something out of reach. This project aims to create a very simple robotic arm using servo motor and materials which can be easily obtained around the household. The resulting robot is also programmable and electronically movable, thus enabling more freedom of how to move it. This in turn create a good introductory tool for the students to learn about the structure and motion of robotic arm.","PeriodicalId":39047,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47699972","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a door security system using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor is proposed. This security system utilizes an electric door lock and an e-KTP (Kartu Tanda Penduduk elektronik/ electronic Indonesian Identity Card) as the key. A sequence of numbers can be read from an e KTP by using an RFID reader. This sequence is unique, making an e-KTP suitable to be used as a key. Furthermore, the door security system is equipped with an alarm. A PIR is used to detect motion, and the alarm will sound if someone passes the door while the alarm is still in active state. The Arduino Mega microcontroller board is used to organize the whole system, consisting the aforementioned reader and sensor, along with two push-buttons, a buzzer, and a solenoid door lock. The system is realized into a prototype in the form of door miniature. A list of scenarios is played through to the system. Only authorized e-KTPs can be used to unlock the door and deactivate the alarm. The door security system successfully fulfils the objective to improve the security level of a door lock mechanism by utilizing an e-KTP as a unique RFID key and by featuring a PIR-integrated alarm.","PeriodicalId":39047,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45805252","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

How to set up the limits of integration correctly and how the excitation source convolves with the impulse response are explained using a graphical type of solution. This in turn, help minimize the students’ misconceptions about the convolution integral. Further, the effect of varying the circuit elements on the shape of the convolution output plot is presented allowing students to see the connection between a convolution integral and a physical system. PSpice simulation and experiment results are incorporated and are compared with those of the analytical solution associated with the convolution integral.","PeriodicalId":39047,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43199301","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
