In the hardware part of the system, the framework of the pragmatic error self-calibration system is designed. The speech is converted into digital signals by the speech recognition module, and the recognised digital signals are translated into Chinese by the functions in the translation module. In the software part of the system, the sample risk minimisation algorithm is adopted to keep the loss function in the sample minimum, and the calibration model is built according to the linear search and feature selection results. The experimental results show that the energy consumption coefficient of the designed system varies from 0 to 1.5. The average calibration accuracy is 95% and the calibration accuracy is high.","PeriodicalId":39029,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Applied Systemic Studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47088184","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On many occasions, the procurement managers follow sequence of indents of materials received from different departments to build up inventory. The aim of this paper is to develop a material procurement sequencing technique with a hybrid approach. The concept has been derived from hybridisation/inter-mixing of 03-popular inventory categorisation techniques, viz. VED analysis, FSN analysis and ABC analysis. Impact values were assigned to different categories of material and their cumulative impacts were used to arrive at the sequencing trend of materials to be procured. Implementation of this technique can ease procurement managers' decision making on procuring material in a sequence. Development of this concept paper is based on practical approach which can be helpful in optimal inventory management of any company. A basic approach is explained in this paper that can be implemented in various industries with little or more changes on impact value scales assignment keeping the approach intact.","PeriodicalId":39029,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Applied Systemic Studies","volume":"9 1","pages":"185"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47171288","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a chassis automatic levelling control system is designed. Position error control method and angle error control method are used to control the chassis automatic levelling control system, which is divided into ground clearance height adjustment and chassis levelling control strategy, respectively. The system is controlled by combining fuzzy control algorithm and preset point levelling method. The experiment was carried out on the chassis of our self-developed multi-functional plant protection machine with high ground clearance. The results show that the automatic levelling system can complete the chassis levelling well. Its average horizontal error is < 0.20°, root mean square error < 0.25°, maximum error is 1.13°, average levelling time < 26 s, and levelling precision < 0.2°. The system can meet the operation requirements of plant protection machine.","PeriodicalId":39029,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Applied Systemic Studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1504/ijass.2020.108656","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44576457","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the software development life cycle (SDLC), software development teams need to apply several systematic activities at interrelated stages to produce a project that meets customer expectations. However, developers usually encounter enormous challenges while developing new projects. To eliminate these challenges and to develop better and reliable software, a new design approach that is based on systematic software reuse and CBR technique is discussed in this paper. A software design system that adopts the reusability approach in software engineering and the CBR technique was applied to provide solutions in the form of software patterns based on functionalities and features of similar past projects. The produced system will attempt to eliminate the challenges regarding time, effort, and financial constraints by reducing the effort needed in software development activities regarding requirement elicitation, analysis, and specification.","PeriodicalId":39029,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Applied Systemic Studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1504/ijass.2020.108662","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48725382","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Their complex nature due to the various stakeholders and the variety of different social services they have to deliver, call for a holistic approach in their design, which qualifies the soft systems methodology as the appropriate tool for designing such systems. To support this argument and pave the way for online integrated information systems in social administration, this paper shows how to apply the first four steps of SSM onto a general social administration context, and proposes a conceptual model of an information system in the area of childcare services as an example.","PeriodicalId":39029,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Applied Systemic Studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45885300","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The parametric equations of measuring points are obtained by mathematical model. The model and boundary are measured by establishing reference orbit coordinate system based on laser tracking. By using self-calibration multi-sensor system calibration and DGPS/IMU integrated processing, the internal and external bits of each binocular image are calculated, and the relative relations of each element in the stereo image are constructed. Combining with the vehicle boundary, the vehicle boundary parameters are calculated to realise the static boundary detection of rail transit vehicles. Experimental results show that this method can effectively improve the accuracy of vehicle boundary detection and reduce the relative error of vehicle boundary detection.","PeriodicalId":39029,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Applied Systemic Studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1504/ijass.2020.108676","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44646747","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is aimed to the methods and tools that comprise systems methodologies - hard and soft. Author focused on analysis of selected tools that are used in disaster management. A comparison of the steps of crisis management methods and systems methodology was done. Based on this comparison, it is possible to point out that systems approach already exists in few of methods of crisis management. The main finding is that only one method of crisis management creates and develops model that helps to abstract the decision. The main benefit of the article is to spread knowledge of systems approach in crisis management.","PeriodicalId":39029,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Applied Systemic Studies","volume":"34 31","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41248768","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper introduces a new systems engineering approach that can be utilised uniformly to represent integrated static descriptions of systems and their behaviours along with control specifications. It avoids the multiplicity of views associated with object-oriented techniques. Its ontology is simpler in that it incorporates only a few notions: things, flows, and their stages and triggering. This paper demonstrates the advantages of the proposed modelling technique by producing a high-level systematic specification (comparable to such tools as process flow diagrams) and using this model to depict the management and control of a system. To demonstrate the viability of the model, it is applied to developing a diagrammatic description of processes in a water distillation plant.","PeriodicalId":39029,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Applied Systemic Studies","volume":"8 1","pages":"255"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1504/IJASS.2018.096122","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45488612","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
