Saidah","doi":"10.20527/pakis.v2i2.6541","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.20527/pakis.v2i2.6541","url":null,"abstract":"Improving learning motivation for students through effective learning models is important so that learning is more meaningful.  The purpose of this study is to describe the STAD learning model in social subjects to increase students' learning motivation. The research approach used was qualitative with the Class Action Research (CAR) method. The research subjects were students of class IX G SMPN 14 Banjarmasin in the 2019/2020 academic year. Research design started from planning, implementation, observation and reflection. To collect the data, this research used observation, assessment (test), discussion ( sharing ) and documentation. The results showed that the application of the STAD learning model was able to create a learning atmosphere that aroused excitement and enthusiasm for students’ learning, so that almost all students were motivated in social studies learning. This is indicated by the increasing number of students who are enthusiastic in the Social Sciences KBM process cycle II, which is 97% of all students in class IX G. The STAD learning model had succeeded in increasing students' learning motivation and is relevant to be applied in social studies subject. As a result, student learning outcomes are low, and students inability to think at higher levels. This study aims to (1) determine the application of PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning oriented to HOTS for Social subjects in class VII C SMPN 2 Ponorogo (2) find out the improvement of Social Education learning outcomes in class VIII C SMPN 2 PONOROGO using the PBL (Problem Based Learning) oriented to HOTS (Higher Other Thinking skills). This study used the Class Action Research model by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, which consists of two cycles. The subjects of this study consisted of 32 students of class VIII C SMPN 2 Ponorogo. The results showed that (1) the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model oriented to Higher Other Thinking Skills (HOTS) contained three activities, namely: initial, core, and closing. The teacher sets the cognitive domain C4 (Analyzing) as the observed Higher Other Thinking Skill (HOTS). The results from cycle I to cycle II on the ability of C4 (analyzing) with categories of distinguishing, organizing, and attributing there was an increase. (2) There was an increase in learning outcomes in the second cycle of students who completed by 87%. The era of disruption makes a form of play that leads to selfishness, including through gadgets, so there are limitations in interacting directly with peers. Therefore, the teacher strives to encourage sharing skills as a form of skill to students so that they can receive and give to others who are instilled in the early to late class so that it affects the ongoing interaction. This study used Slavin Theory, about efforts to increase social contact among students to achieve goals and the role of teachers in learning and teaching activities. The purpose of this study was to develop teaching materials in the form of thematic modules based on local wisdom about the uniqueness of the Gunungkidul Regency area that was suitable for fourth-grade elementary school students. This research used Research and Development (R&D). This research procedure used the ADDIE model, namely analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. The subjects of this study were experts, teachers, and four-grade elementary school students. This research used interview guidelines, expert validation questionnaires, and response questionnaires obtained from teachers and students. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. This research used qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze the data. Expert assessment results showed that the modul is considered appropriate to be tested in which this decision is previously proven by the validation from the instructional media expert and thematic learning expert. The validation score from the instructional media expert is 3,00 (good category). The validation score for thematic learning expert is 3,36 (very good category). The average score of teachers’ questionnaire responses is 3,66 (very good category). The average score of the limited trial is 3,48 (very good category). The Sungai Jelai Basirih Selatan community has cultural values that are important as a source of social studies learning. The purpose of this article is to identify the cultural values that exist in the Sungai Jelai Basirih Selatan community and the contribution of these cultural values as a source of social studies learning. The method used was a qualitative approach. To collect the data, this research used observations, interviews, and documentation. To analyze the data, this research used the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification, while the validity of the data used triangulation. The results showed that identifying cultural values in the Sungai Jelai Basirih Selatan community was related to the pattern of daily community relations that had positive values. These values consist of religious values, hard work values, and mutual cooperation values. The various values obtained are integrated into teaching materials as social studies learning resources. The communication that exists in SMA Negeri 1 Rasau Jaya still has various problems such as a lack of responses from students when the teacher delivers the material. The purpose of this study was to analyze the communication between teachers and students in online learning during the Covid-19 period in history subject learning. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected by observation, interviews, and literature studies. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman measurements. The results showed that the communication between teachers and students at SMA Negeri 1 Rasau Jaya was not optimal. This study aims to analyze the internal factors that influence the geography learning difficulties of State Senior High School students in Banjarmasin City, analyze the external factors that influence the geography learning difficulties of State Senior High School students in Banjarmasin City and analyze the dominant factors in influencing the geography learning difficulties of State Senior High School students in Banjarmasin City. This research used a descriptive-quantitative method. The data analysis technique used percentages. The growth of Covid 19 was confirmed to have experienced a high spike as of September 4, 2020. There were 26 million people exposed to the Covid 19 virus, so the Indonesian government needs to provide social assistance for people affected by Covid-19. Based on the latest Worldometers update at the beginning of 2021, namely on Friday, January 8, 2021, the SAR CoV-2 corona virus has infected a total of 88.368.538 people worldwide with a calculation of 63.454.087 people who have recovered from infection while a total of 1.904.030 people were declared dead. The Covid-19 data and information center said a total of 494 people were suspected of being exposed to Covid-19. Minister of Social Affairs, Juliari Batubara ensured that 120.000 Beneficiary Families of the Family Hope Program (KPM PKH) in Cirebon Regency would receive a certain amount of rice as social assistance. There are 15 kilograms of rice in three distributions to help the food needs of the Beneficiary Families. The distribution of social assistance to communities affected by Covid-19 caused conflicts in several areas in Cirebon Regency which caused social turmoil as a result of social changes in the Covid-19 era. This study tried to examine the social conflicts that arise in the process of distributing social assistance in Cirebon with Karl Marx's theory of Social Conflict which consists of vertical conflict and horizontal conflict.
