The objective of using renewable energies sources is to make the greenhouse system able to satisfy its energy needs. This paper proposes a new strategy based on Model Predictive Control to control battery charging and power greenhouse system from photovoltaic sources despite fluctuations due to its intermittent and uncertainties of converter parameters. This approach deals with optimization criterion problem in presence of constrained conditions. The constraints concern signal control applied to DC-DC converter, voltage and eventually current in desired proportions. Without loss of generality, Constrained Model Predictive Control is applied to a buck DC-DC converter to control the duty cycle of PWM switch. This proposed system consists on three parts: (a) sensor node, which contains five sensors, namely: ambient temperature, relative humidity, panel temperature, that has been calibrated in a certified laboratory, as well as a wind and light sensors. (b) The base station that transmits the aggregation data from sensor node to the user interface, and (c) the user interface application performed with LabVIEW. The wireless communication between the base station and the sensor node was ensured by a low cost, efficient, and low power consumption transceiver. The measurements obtained from the PV panel were transmitted using a new customize hybrid transmission mode that combines (a) the temporal mode (b) the request mode, and (c) the event mode. E-learning platforms are designed with learning content, self-assessments and support services, thus improving the quality of learning by facilitating the use of services and resources, on the one hand, and distance exchange and collaboration on the other. Aside from the benefits of e-learning, it is also important to check whether the learners are sufficiently satisfied with their experience. This study focused on the learners’ satisfaction toward e-learning systems in higher education and also proposed a theoretical model combining several factors to better understand learners’ satisfaction in Morocco e-learning systems. A structural equation modelling approach was used to test the correlation between the components of our model. The results indicated that, the diversity in assessments, course flexibility, social interactions, system quality and perceived usefulness has positive effects on learner satisfaction. In order to achieve this objective, we started with a technical study of the helium circuit in MRIS Philips 3T, then, we focus on the main reasons of accidental Quench and their effect on vibration contains. We have subsequently developed a monitoring system based on monitoring vibration on the various key points of the liquid helium cooling. This paper deals with the modeling and performance evaluation of Si-nw-ISFET (Silicon-nanowire chemical field effect transistor) microsensor. The modeling approach used in this work takes into account the nanowire size effects to evaluate the response of Si-nw-ISFET transistor and introduces two parameters: the total resistance of nanowire RT and the rectangular capacity Cox of the gate insulator all-around the Si-nw. This model investigates the main influential parameters of nanowire on the sensor response as: (i) different wire lengths Lnw, (ii) channel gate lengths of Si-nw-ISFET (i.e. short and large gate length) and (iii) different numbers of parallel wires. The model developed is tested on large pH range, evidencing a good fit between simulation and experimental results. To overcome the drawbacks of PI and FLC regulators, the Adaptive Fuzzy-PI Controllers (AFPICs) are configured. This paper presents a comparison between three different controllers based control methodology for Variable Speed Wind Energy Conversion Systems (WECSs) by means of Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG). Artificial Intelligence (AI) based FLCs is performed to improve the system efficiency and performance under Small Disturbance (SD) and Large Disturbance (LD) cases. To test the PI, FLC, and AFPIC robustness, simulations are done during abrupt wind speed variation (SD), and voltage dip fault (LD). The simulation results show that the proposed AFPIC delivers improved power control, better response rise time, reduced overshoot, undershoot, and settling time compared to classical PI and Fuzzy controllers. This inverter is dedicated to renewable energies. A dual boost DC/ DC converter is used as a voltage generator in cascade with which a voltage higher than 220 V can be reached. This paper presents an energy management strategy for a hybrid electric vehicle powered by a fuel cell as the main source and Li-Ion battery as a secondary source. Our proposed approach is based on fuzzy logic and aims to decrease hydrogen consumption while increasing the durability of power sources by respecting their dynamic constraints as well as the battery’s state of charge. The fuzzy logic controller takes as inputs the load power and the battery state of charge and outputs the fuel cell power. The simulation model of the hybrid electric vehicle and its energy management strategy are established using MATLAB/Simulink. The smart city brings smart solutions that are effective and sustainable in different areas: transportation, environment, energy and government affairs. The Internet of Things (IoT) is the basis of the structure of a smart city to interconnect all devices together. At present, and despite the potential benefits presented, IoT is still not secure by design, making its applications particularly vulnerable to security threats such as: Confidentiality and data integrity. However, there is the risk of creating urban environments with compromised data. The Blockchain has recently been proposed as a revolutionary technology that can be integrated and resolves many vulnerabilities in IoT applications. In this work, we analyze the applicability of the Blockchain to ensure the security of the data transmitted and received by the nodes of an IoT network.
